Wonderful lot 29 was great. Wished the WIFI wasn't in & out, but I understand you were installing fiber lines. It happens during upgrades. I truly believe you do not have enough shower & bathroom facilities, and having just one centrally located makes it difficult for campers who depend on plentiful facilities. You probably already have plans for additional locations, but if not...think about it

While the location itself is beautiful and clearly has a lot of potential, the park's execution and focus seem to fall short of providing a quality camping experience. Given the park's clear focus on maximizing profit, one would think a little bit of gravel wouldn't be too much of a financial strain. Our specific site, #9, was one of the worst offenders.

Stayed on W/E site. Loved the beach area and walking trail around the lake. Roads are super dusty and sites in the tress are tight.

Someone was in our spot and we had to go back 3 times to get it settled. The showers were horrendous…small and needed a total upgrade. The campground was very muddy due to recent rain. It’s a huge campground with lots of people, so if you like camping with a crowd , this place is for you. On a positive note, this place had the best WiFi of any place we’ve camped.

Store was very empty during our stay. The beach was very well kept and the campground was nice.

Amazing and accommodating staff. Our site was shaded by huge trees and was a huge relief for the heat.

It’s always a great time when we stay at the Detroit/Ann Arbor KOA. They have so much for the kids to do. Can’t wait for our next trip!

Didn't get our discount for KOA rewards. Someone refunded our rewards payment. Had to redo everything at next stay. However, the staff was great and we enjoyed our stay. The facilities were well maintained. There was lots of space at the sites and it was close to family and friends. Enjoyed the lake view.

We were given a full hookup site by permanent guests that had a lot of stuff at their site. We were given 2 more sites next to permanent guests that were encroaching on our site. Finally picked one our ourselves which was ok. Not sure why we we were not given a nice grassy clean site at the other end of the campground. It was clearly tourists and they had full hookup. Dusty, showers not clean.

I stayed at this KOA for convenience to visit family in the area. Staff was incredibly friendly and I was glad to see that people weren't park on top of each other.

Served as a convenient 1-night stay with a decent sized pull-thru site at the front of the campground. The park has a beach and water entertainment for families/children... looked like fun! Nice staff as well.

Our site was very muddy. No gravel at all. The sites were very tight. The staff was not overly interested in us or helpful. Expensive for what you got.

My wife and I were on site #19. The updates are great � �. We did have an issue with the power pedestal i plugged into the 30 amp plug (our rv is only 30 amp) and the breaker kept on tripping. We had the A/C on, never had that issue before. So I plugged into the 50 amp with an adapter. Also there were carpenter ants � all over the site. Alot of them.

We really enjoyed our stay and gave a higher rating than we probably should; however, I would like to suggest that you upgrade the beds in the cabins. We had the deluxe cabin and paid $291 a night, and none of the beds were comfortable. It was the worst night's sleep we have ever had. What made our time enjoyable was that we were there with friends and family.

My family and I began our tent camping adventure here and thus set the standard. It is a really high bar from our perspective. The staff were great. The facility was welcoming. The activities were fun and memorable. We will definitely see you again.

We checked in on Wednesday and spent Thursday at the Henry Ford Museum. When we got back, I had no power to our rv. I went to the office and the maintenance man came over to check and we realized it was my plug that had gone bad. I drove to the closest Camping World. I got the replacement plug and the awesome maintance department installed my new plug and I was back up and running. Thank yo

I was assigned a lesser site upon arrival without an offer to reduce the cost of my stay. Also, there is one bathhouse and it was disgusting.

When we arrived Linda was most helpful in moving us to a site that was more suitable for us and did so with a wonderful smile on her face. The rest of the office staff was warm and friendly and all outside maintenance crew was also very friendly.

Need to clean the bathrooms more often. I would get up early to take a shower and restrooms were ALWAYS filthy.

This was a very average location. Sewer was not functional due to park construction. Shower and bath facilities were rough.Roads were full of potholes.

Very nice park, but they really have to fix the roads badly. The holes are horrible. They need gravel all over so its not so muddy. Love the park though. Its beautiful. The people were all super nice too.

The cabin we stayed in was perfect for what we needed during this stay. The showers were very small for getting dressed after showering and the shower curtain was too small to span the space so water splashed out onto my things. Wish there were additional toilet locations especially having a newly potty trained kid. It was a long way to walk.

We were incredibly dissatisfied. The sites are small, and ours was facing all the plumbing of the person beside us. The showers are absolutely disgusting. They are molding and falling apart. The staff were rude, and unfriendly. The campground is tired, and needs an immense amount of work. We would never stay here again and someone from KOA needs to go reassess their eligibility to use the brand.

Camp street signs missing. Not as pristine as other KOAs. Spiderwebs with bugs on outside bathroom fencing. Showers not kept up.

Muddy, weedy sites. Lots of unsupervised kids, and people smoking pot and even a hookah right out on the beach. The staff was nice.

Great location but turned into a mud pit during rain. Need to really do some grading and new gravel on both the roads and the sites. It was a really beautiful park but having to wade to my car and then tromp through mud to disconnect the RV when we left tainted any good feelings about the park. Sadly, the upkeep was not what we have come to expect at KOA

Our campsite was a great location with the shade from the trees and the lake as our backyard. It was a little muddy/dusty; it would be nice if there was more gravel. I wish you could buy a 1/2 day water pass bc my kids only played on the inflatables for about an hour; I also wish everything was included in that price, like the paddle boards and kayaks. The staff was extremely nice and helpful!

The lake view was amazing. The whole location was clean and inviting. All the staff I interacted with was friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to go back again.

It was nice but some concerns. A deflated ninja obstacle that could be patched fixed or unplugged. Also, the bathrooms were not handicap friendly. It was a bit pricey but the kids liked it. Could use a couple updates. Overall not bad...

Very nice experience and a great weekend to be there. Staff was very nice, bathrooms were clean,shower were clean. The cleaning crew was on it and consistently keeping the grounds clean for campers!! Highly recommend to families with children or a romantic weekend getaway close to home. Plenty to do. Beach was very clean and I absolutely enjoyed the staff staying on the teenagers and kids about following safety rules in the water and life jackets. Trail was nice to walk

Stayed for the first time this past weekend. Staff was extremely nice and welcoming. Alot of activities for kids. Bathrooms clean and well lit. Campsites clean and level we didn't even have to use wheel chocks at all. Camp store well kept and i like that you can charge things to your site so you dont have to remember to take your wallet when visiting. Will be one of our new go to spots to camp. A couple things to prepare for.. if you are booking a full hook up site bring enough sewer hose, our connection was at the front of the camper. And if you rely on wifi for anything maybe talk to the office and let them know, the site we were on did not have enough signal strength to run streaming services to watch movies at night so I ended up having to use my mobile Hotspot.
