This campground has a lot of potential but our site had no gravel or cement pad. There was no grass at our lot either. The roads also needed gravel. Our RV was a complete mess by the time we left and so was our poor dog, who couldn’t even go outside without being covered in dust. I can’t imagine what this campground would look like if it rained!

A wonderful campsite and staff! We had a great time - lots to see in the area and lots to do at camp. Great for adults and especially great for kids! First I've seen: A safe, high bouncing trampoline! HORESHOES for us old guys... Thanks, Dan

no grass, no good place for dog, picnic table in very poor condition ,too tight sites, could at least have ample gravel to have distinction of site vs road. Did not feel relaxed or comfortable at all to even sit outside, therefore sacrificed $$$ and left a day early. Very hard for big rig to make turns. On the positive, friendly staff and fairly level.

What a pleasant surprise. The campground is a hidden jewel. The lake, swans, the grounds and the staff are great. Cannot say enough about what a great campground this is. GOOD JOB

We had a great visit to the Detroit Ann Arbor area at the KOA nice Campground level sites. We were lucky enough to be right on the lake, which is beautiful and well stocked with fish. Now I understand why people have aquariums. I sat in the afternoons and watched the fish meander around and swim around. It was a very enjoyable time.

The people we dealt with were very courteous, polite, and professional. The campground had one area that looked grassy and very nice. But the majority of the campground was dirt and tree covered with dusty dirt roads. At our campsite our picnic table was located approximately 3 foot from the Neighbors septic dump. For over $80 per night there was not a comfortable spot to sit outside our camper.

Great campground. We experienced rv problems during our stay and staff were very helpful with our challenges. Special thanks goes to Chris and Heidi! We’re grateful and highly recommend this KOA!

Excellent campground. Shout out to outstanding, professional, service-oriented, and upbeat staff member Josh. His presence and approach to customer service truly elevates the overall experience. I also love how clean the bathrooms are. The custodial staff is doing an excellent job. I also appreciate how helpful they are when you call the office with questions. Thank you Detroit/Ann Arbor KOA!

Just an overnight stay. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. My only issue would be the quality of the showers. I am not a big guy but the showers were cramped

Easy check in. Friendly even when busy with firewood delivery, too. Peaked into unisex shower stalls, they were needing updates. Many things for the kids to do summer or fall for additional costs. Lots of golf cart rentals permitted past bike rental times in the evening. Didn't bother fishing for the one night stay

We booked 2 nights. After the first night we left for a few hours. Our hose was plugged into the tap and our electric cord was attached to the box. We have done this in dozens of campsites but when we returned both had been stolen. We had to spend the second night in a hotel. The campground manager's response: "Sorry".

Everything was great I expected a little different Luau but everyone enjoyed all the events I especially like the Wet Wagon Ride too bad not all the campers participated but we enjoyed all your efforts. Thanks we look forward to seeing more of your facilities

This was our second time staying in our new camper. We will definitely be coming back. It's our little staycation place! We also appreciate all the activities for the kids. Our daughter and her friend had a great time!

I thought the staff was accommodating and more engaged with the campers than any other KOA I've been to. We wished that we went earlier in the season to enjoy the lake but we now we know for next year.

Friendly staff, fun activities. Only complaint is my trailer is 2011 and sits lower than the new ones. So twice I've paid for a full hook up site, but the line sticks up out of the ground and is a higher point than my camper is, making it unusable.

We love our lake front site.This was our 5th yr here and we secured our spot for 2026. I would like to suggest a site sitewide text to communicate to campers about events that wknd. We do experience it at other KOA and its very helpful not to miss events or get weather alerts, etc.

It was nice but some concerns. A deflated ninja obstacle that could be patched fixed or unplugged. Also, the bathrooms were not handicap friendly. It was a bit pricey but the kids liked it. Could use a couple updates. Overall not bad...

Very nice experience and a great weekend to be there. Staff was very nice, bathrooms were clean,shower were clean. The cleaning crew was on it and consistently keeping the grounds clean for campers!! Highly recommend to families with children or a romantic weekend getaway close to home. Plenty to do. Beach was very clean and I absolutely enjoyed the staff staying on the teenagers and kids about following safety rules in the water and life jackets. Trail was nice to walk

Stayed for the first time this past weekend. Staff was extremely nice and welcoming. Alot of activities for kids. Bathrooms clean and well lit. Campsites clean and level we didn't even have to use wheel chocks at all. Camp store well kept and i like that you can charge things to your site so you dont have to remember to take your wallet when visiting. Will be one of our new go to spots to camp. A couple things to prepare for.. if you are booking a full hook up site bring enough sewer hose, our connection was at the front of the camper. And if you rely on wifi for anything maybe talk to the office and let them know, the site we were on did not have enough signal strength to run streaming services to watch movies at night so I ended up having to use my mobile Hotspot.
