Positive features. The WiFi was very good. Our site was level. The grounds were decorated for Halloween. Not so great - Appearance of the store. It looked as if it was going out of business. Grounds looked old and tired. Laundry room had only 3 out of 6 working washing machines and not all that clean. Additionally, one of the “working” machine I used did not spin my clothes.

We arrived to find an incredible community celebrating Halloween together decorating. What started as decorating the office has bloomed into a whole site. The kids from different campers found the bounce pad in front of the office an incredible place to meet and greet each other and chase and bounce and fall over. The site is clean, well planned, and easy to access. The staff is ifriendly. 10 star

At 6am a red pickup truck backed into the empty space across the road in front of us. It sat there for almost an hour then left around sunrise

It was ok. I think your events person needs to step it up a bit. Way to many seasonal campers and golf carts. Nice place just for adults not many kids around. Need a PA system to make announcements for activities or they should be posted better for campers.

We came as a cub scout group and stayed in the rustic sites. LOVED this location.. center of the park.. right next to the playground. Bathrooms were clean. staff very friendly. Activities that were planned were great. LAke looks so inviting. We all are already talking about coming back next year.

Location is good for going to The Henry Ford and Greenfield Village. The new showers are okay but the old ones need a revamp. Site by the lake was nice. Don't expect to know anyone going to Detroit area hence the low rating for recommendations. That question on KOA surveys needs to be rethought. Maybe ask if guest was happy with their stay.

We stayed for halloweekend . Our first time doing that and first time at this KOA. Enjoyed all that activities and wished we could have stayed longer.

The general manager, Sean, provided us with a horrible experience. I don’t have enough space to write everything but he was very rude to his staff in front of us as well. He punched and kicked a tree out of anger in front of the children in our party and made them cry and scared. Everyone I know will be canceling any reservation from here on out.

Fabulous site, we backed up right to the gorgeous lake. A huge site #24, with full hookups. Wonderful. Staff is friendly and helpful. Have stayed here multiple times this year while visiting family in ann arbor. Always a pleasure to camp at ann arbor/detroit koa. Quiet and clean. Enjoy seeing the family of swans on the lake. Thankful

We stayed in the Deluxe Lodge The view was fabulous. The lake is in the backyard. Fishing great. The Lodge itself needed a bit of attention. Sheets were thin and worn and mattress needs to be replaced. Towels have seen better days. Holes in most of them. Bracket for hair dryer was on wall but missing the hair dryer. Same thing with shower soap. I think for the fees you charge improvement needed

Terrible dirt roadways with ruts and very poor drainage during rain. Poorly designed showers and plumbing and lack of necessary sinks and counters for shaving etc. Only saw one toilet with a sink. Could be cleaner.

Had a wonderful time, the staff was very friendly and helpful, showers were hot and clean as well as the restrooms, everyone was respectful of quite time, stayed at the rustic camp area which was very nice and clean, really nice trail around the lake, everything was great.

Cabin was small but ok. Would appreciate a small fridge and microwave. Like the air conditioner. Like the store and ice cream. Staff were friendly. The roads inside are dusty and need more greenery and maintenance for grass and landscaping. Washrooms were clean and maintained.

Sites are way to close together and expensive for what the sites are. Water pressure is probably the worst we have encountered. Couldn't sit outside our site or build a fire in the pit we were litterly on the road if we wanted to. Koa's seem to be slipping in there standards

The campground was Quiet and clean.Nice staff. The roads could use some improvement (Bumpy). The laundry has 6 SMALL machines 4 of which were not working during our stay. The dryers are not much bigger(had to cut my loads in half to get my towels and jeans to dry

The only thing I wish you had was paved pads and roads on both sides of the campground. We love your lake and all the wildlife.

We have been highly pleased with this campground. This is 4th or 5th time weve stayed here this year, due to having family in the ann arbor area. No complaints. Staff has been welcoming and helpful. The lake is beautiful. You can back right up to the water & park your RV with full hookups. Wake up next morning & eat breakfast on picnic table overlooking a gorgeous lake with swans swimming by!

We made a last minute reservation and were treated excellent. Our spot was a pull through and easy to navigate. The camp store is very nice and the people fabulous!

Nice shady campground and friendly staff. The close proximity to a lake was beautiful and there was plenty of water toys/features for our use. The K-9 pen was on the opposite side of the park from our site, so it was a bit of a hike.

With a large RV, we found it difficult to maneuver on the roads and into our site due to the number of trees and tree stumps close to the road. Also, lots of depressed areas in the roads and the campsites that contributed to flooding when it rained and retained water long after. Amenities, including the lake, were nice but the campground needs work! Fill dirt and gravel everywhere!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Gentlemen delivering firewood was helpful and offered good advice. Camp store had everything you may forget but was out of stuff to make smores. Hard packed ice cream was exceptional. Sites were narrow. By the time I rolled out the awning, it was touching my site border. Showers are old and small. Fishing was good. Pull thru sites are a tight to turn into.

It was nice but some concerns. A deflated ninja obstacle that could be patched fixed or unplugged. Also, the bathrooms were not handicap friendly. It was a bit pricey but the kids liked it. Could use a couple updates. Overall not bad...

Very nice experience and a great weekend to be there. Staff was very nice, bathrooms were clean,shower were clean. The cleaning crew was on it and consistently keeping the grounds clean for campers!! Highly recommend to families with children or a romantic weekend getaway close to home. Plenty to do. Beach was very clean and I absolutely enjoyed the staff staying on the teenagers and kids about following safety rules in the water and life jackets. Trail was nice to walk

Stayed for the first time this past weekend. Staff was extremely nice and welcoming. Alot of activities for kids. Bathrooms clean and well lit. Campsites clean and level we didn't even have to use wheel chocks at all. Camp store well kept and i like that you can charge things to your site so you dont have to remember to take your wallet when visiting. Will be one of our new go to spots to camp. A couple things to prepare for.. if you are booking a full hook up site bring enough sewer hose, our connection was at the front of the camper. And if you rely on wifi for anything maybe talk to the office and let them know, the site we were on did not have enough signal strength to run streaming services to watch movies at night so I ended up having to use my mobile Hotspot.
