Site was good. Campground was quiet at night. Very poor sewer connection. I needed to move to a different site to dump tanks. Given the height and angle of the pipe, I don’t think anyone could use it.

Love the Halloween weekend’s here at Detroit/Ann Arbor KOA! Many campers go all out decorating. One thing I always do is walk the trail around the lake. Bonus this year! Park did great job putting up Halloween decorations. Very much enjoyed our stay!

The office staff were great with helping us find the right site for us and very friendly! The site and facilities were clean and met our needs. I recommend investment into gravel for the roads in the campground, as the conditions of the dirt roads were very harsh on our 33 ft trailer and tow vehicle (3/4 ton truck). Roads were also quite muddy after rain on arrival. Otherwise I would recommend!

heard gunshots near the site at around 4 am. got put in the worst spot right next to the dumpster. also lots of hillbilly action going on here.

Beautiful spots by the water, but we were put in a spot with a view of a big ugly green tent cover. We were charged $5/pet extra and no dog park or even poo bags. Road had large potholes.

Staff was nice and friendly at check in. The showers were the dirtiest I’ve ever seen. Full of dog hair and smelled. Laundry had 4of 4 washing machines broken. Grounds were all muddy from the rain. Needs gravel badly! Also the guard shack is unmanned. Cars came and went well after 11pm. Not secure. Left after first night even though paid for additional.

We look forward to Halloween camping every year. This year was such a disappointment we’ve discussed giving it up. No hayrides, no pumpkin decorating, no costume or site contests. We’re not sure why it was advertised as a Halloween weekend. It wasn’t worth the money or time we invested to participate. What a huge let down.

Lodge was so nicely maintained. Beautiful view. Not much to do around there during this time. The hiking path with Halloween decorations was nice.

As always, the activities were fun! The kids had a great time and we are now going to make camping in October a tradition. The only downside was that our site didn't have a fire pit ring.

We used the camper as a rolling hotel room on this trip and this KOA suited us just fine. We did not use any of the amenities offered. The park, though busy, was quiet at night and well kept. The staff did an excellent job at keeping the park clean organized. Everyone that worked there was professional, pleasant and courteous. Our picnic table was in abysmal shape, hence the 4 out of 5 rating.

The over all stay was great, there was a lot of camping etiquette has has been lost over the years. Two camps sits down from our site there was a dad and teen that were pretty rude and loud and would right. They were physically fighting on the bouncing pillow while dad video tapped. It wasn’t the ideal situation for someone who had young children present. Over all the rest of the stay was great

Loved the cabin on the lake and the beautiful fall colors, swan and sunset. We just stayed one night traveling through however the cabin on the lake would have us come back to vacation here.

Convenient location to all the usual places to visit. Nice setting by the lake. Was fun to watch the swans. The facilities themselves were a little dated. But everything worked.

Amazing facility! Our site was perfect - level, roomy, quiet. We liked the doggy play area, the hiking trail around the lake, and the sense of community, with lots of activities! It is clear that the owners take pride in the operation- we will definitely be back next season

Your rules PLAINLY STATE 10pm is quiet time and is “strictly enforced”. There was a LARGE group gathered directly across from us around 3ish as we arrived and were setting up. ALL of them must have been hearing impaired because everyone was talking very loudly and got louder then shouting then cheering then hooping and til after 12 no one enforced ANYTHING!!

We love coming here for Halloween camping. Our only complaint was our campsite was a little small for both our tent and awning. But overall everything was great. We love all the improvements

Halloween weekends are so much fun. Great activities for the kids , staff was very friendly. Actually the staff went over and above to help .great atmosphere. Nice that activities don't nickle and dime you . Just far enough from Toledo 40 min to feel like a vacation.

Great for families and kids. The unpaved road from the entrance to our site was full of potholes. Decent enough place - not our first choice if a state or county park was available in this area.

This is a more rustic campground that allows you a full xose of nature. It has a nice sized lake with beach. You can rent various watercraft and bikes. They have fantastic planned events. We were there this weekend and they had a complete Halloween theme with other campers putting out great displays while the campground had parades, hay rides, and special actities for the kids. I recomend !

This used to be a favorite place of ours. This visit though was unorganized and we felt like all the staff did was yell at the kids. A worker was sent to outside and rudely told us we weren't allowed to have the golf cart past 11, but the computer said what we were told which was 7pm.

We have stayed at this KOA multiple times and have always enjoyed it. It’s clean and a lot of activities for the kids.

We had a great stay. So much for our grandsons to do. The service was excellent. They delivered our firewood we purchased right to our sight. Our surge protector went on the fritz but the maintenance team came over right away to help us. They even changed out the breakers just in case instead of just ignoring it. We are planning to book again for next season.

The Halloween activities this past weekend were great. So many people going all out and making it fun. It was just the two of us this weekend and we went and got decorations and candy to pass for the kids trick or treating.

It was nice but some concerns. A deflated ninja obstacle that could be patched fixed or unplugged. Also, the bathrooms were not handicap friendly. It was a bit pricey but the kids liked it. Could use a couple updates. Overall not bad...

Very nice experience and a great weekend to be there. Staff was very nice, bathrooms were clean,shower were clean. The cleaning crew was on it and consistently keeping the grounds clean for campers!! Highly recommend to families with children or a romantic weekend getaway close to home. Plenty to do. Beach was very clean and I absolutely enjoyed the staff staying on the teenagers and kids about following safety rules in the water and life jackets. Trail was nice to walk

Stayed for the first time this past weekend. Staff was extremely nice and welcoming. Alot of activities for kids. Bathrooms clean and well lit. Campsites clean and level we didn't even have to use wheel chocks at all. Camp store well kept and i like that you can charge things to your site so you dont have to remember to take your wallet when visiting. Will be one of our new go to spots to camp. A couple things to prepare for.. if you are booking a full hook up site bring enough sewer hose, our connection was at the front of the camper. And if you rely on wifi for anything maybe talk to the office and let them know, the site we were on did not have enough signal strength to run streaming services to watch movies at night so I ended up having to use my mobile Hotspot.
