Dirt roads hard to walk around. Lots of run down full time rv around with trashy looking sites.

The campground was okay. The bathrooms and showers really need updating. It was frustrating that many activities required more money, not even the jump pad was included. We’ve been to many KOA’s and that was a first! It did seem to have a friendly family atmosphere and the food truck was a nice advantage for breakfast.

Our visit started out on a sour note.While pulling it into the campground, we waved at the lady sitting at the table at the entrance,she hesitately waved back at us.Later that evening, our guest, we had a parking pass for,came & the lady at the entrance was very rude to her.She made her wait until we walked to the entrance,took awhile because we were far & didn't have a car. No military discount

Our stay was good. The jumping pillow and obstacle course were my 5 year olds favorite part of the campground but it seemed that they closed after 6pm. The mosquitoes were terrible.

We rode in there on a Friday afternoon and left that Sunday. We had a wonderful time. The kids really enjoyed all the activities and playground. My two oldest boys also love to fish so the pond and catching fish was a bonus.

Great KOA, staff seemed overwhelmed on Friday but it was quite busy. Very fun and clean - always enjoy staying here!

I've stayed at this campground 4 times in the past year and the staff is always super helpful. Quite a scenic spot with easy access to City of Ann Arbor.

I can not say it’s the best campground we have stayed. The website talks about gravel pads when in fact it was just mud. Linda was friendly but can’t say same for young lady the next morning. Showers were not very warm. I’m sorry but I would not recommend nor stay again.

Every employee was so kind & welcoming. True professionals! The housekeeping staff including; Patty, Sammy, Sandy were exceptional! And thanks Bill (fireplace crew) for your kindness and stories of the park, including the swans. The store crew also has to be mentioned for their welcoming and kindness! This was my 4th visit at the Lodge in 2 years. So clean and relaxing!

They fixed the entrance road for the most part, about 90 of the potholes were filled in. Cannot say the same for the shower stalls. Seems they just painted them but the paint if falling off. I find it strange that I was charged $5 more per night in mid Sept than in early Apr as the demand was much less in Sept (many open spots) and I was given a better spot in Apr for same criteria (water/Elec

It was a quick overnight stay on our way through, Site was a little tight as we like to keep our rig hooked up. We don't have mosquitos where we live so we had to get used to those again but that's a problem where ever you go. Worst part of the site was the picnic table, it wasn't even fit to burn (rotted) Might want to swap that one out before someone get hurt.

We really like this campground and can see the improvements that have been made especially as far as activities go. The campground needs to encourage pet owners to pick up after pets by installing bag and bin stations throughout the park.

Our site was all dirt, it had huge electrical boxes, what used to be a router pole and another huge mechanical box on it. We paid for a full hook-up site but when we went to leave the sewer was backed up and we had to pull to another site to dump. They had fun inflatable games to play and run through but you had to pay additional monies to use them.

Overall the campground is very nice. There are no paved roads, but we had no rain so we didn’t have to worry. Plenty of activities to do. Most of the employees were friendly, campground was clean. One drawback is that quiet time was not observed. Would visit again.

Mosquitoes were horrible. Bathrooms were low level. It would be nice if I could dry my hands after using. Customer service was average.

Site was dirty. Fire ring was rusted and almost unusable. I could not hook up to my sewer connection it was way out of the way I would have been half in the road to connect to it. I would have needed 30 feet of sewer hose. Site next door was completely covered in dog waste. Was not worth 71 a night. Disappointing stay for sure. Will not return anytime soon. Needs major work on the park.

Pros: Fun activities, even during off-season! Beautiful lake views. Nice and helpful staff and fun (but not loud) atmosphere. Cons: Playground too close to entrance in a traffic-heavy location and kids encounter traffic more often than necessary. Hiking trail not well maintained. Dog play area was covered in dog feces that were not picked up by their owners (it was unusable).

Will not return to to this KOA. The roads are full of muddy pot holes, loud neighbors, with tight spots. The Ann Arbor KOA is also much less accommodating than other KOA's have been. Spot on the lake was nice, but the loud neighbors using constant profanity and the smell of marijuana made it less than enjoyable. This KOA did not seem to enforce many rules.

We love Patty, she is always so personable and sweet. She always stops by to see if we are coming to events and to say hi! She is a great employee. We have always had great experiences with everyone but she really stands out!

The campsite I was assigned (149) was incredibly small, and hardly wide enough for my small camper with no slide outs. It was very loud at all hours of the night with all the activities, I I received several text messages throughout my stay, that I never signed up for.

It is a nice campground… the bathroom’s were clean and the campground was well maintained. The staff was great..they had karaoke and wagon rides for the guest.. which is nice. Only complaint is that we didn’t sleep well because of golf carts driving past our tent up until 2:30am then started back up again around 6:30am
