I enjoyed my stay. It served my family well during our time there. Loved being on the lake and I can imagine the fun families have during the summer. The weather during our stay was cloudy and rainy se we didn’t get to enjoy the site as much. Gravel sights were muddy. My biggest disappointment werethe showers. Very small, moldy & unprepared for late spring guests. Couldn’t bring myself to use

Nice quiet stay!! Office staff was very helpful!! We already booked for another weekend at this campground.

We wintered in the vacation rental lodge. Very cozy. The staff was most helpful and responsive to any issues. The lake was beautiful every day and you can’t beat the sunsets!

Only issue is roads and sites need some gravel and grading to keep rain from ponding. People were very pleasant and helpful!

Unprofessional+ unsanitary #1 issue I specifically asked before I booked if their showers would be open. We get there and they say that their showers and bathrooms are closed to redo their tile and maybe they would be open on Wed and to just use our camper? So I check it out wed and it's open but the tile hasn't been grouted. It's a unisex shower and it's absolutely disgusting and stayed that way.

I was told the bathroom was open tho’ it was under construction. When we tried to use it it was locked. Driveways were in poor condition. Trying to get to the store/check-in there was a huge puddle that I couldn’t get around. Maybe these are things that get cared for during the summer months but some seemed to be long term issues..

We arrives at 9.35 pm and there was nobidy. The restroom was clised so we couldn't go to the toilet. We needed thema because our RV couldb't have water because of the wetter. Feeding. We must go to the toilet and was ourselves . I booked especially for Koa because they have all the faciliteiten. It was a lot of money for our stad. We left the morning rond 8 am

Honestly my stay here has been surprisingly pleasant without one complaint honestly. The staff from the amenities, laundry and shower, etc, to this Lakeview has been perfect all the way up and down. I really have to give props to the staff because they are in constant communication When I need them for anything. I even booked another month, because of how perfect this experience has been. ♥��

The location was convenient for us to visit family but the campground and especially around the office was covered with ice and dangerous to walk on. The showers and bathrooms were deteriorating and there were many water leaks in the plumbing. The ice around the office and parking was a hazard and neglected. We bought salt to have at our site and didn’t expect that the site would be clear.

As soon as we got there at the office closed and remain closed the whole time we was there for 2 weeks. Limited facilities. Went to fill propane and that was out.

I was disappointed because I thought you guys would have to microwave and the refrigerator in the cabins like the other 2 KOA that I have been in, We didn't bring a big enough cooler when we realize no refrigerator, The cabin and the activity were good.

Great customer service and well maintained campground even in the "off-season". We greatly enjoyed our stay. The staff went above and beyond to answer my questions, and even escorted us to our site when we arrived after the office was closed.

More like a low income place to “live” not stay for a night or few. Many people seem to be living there, cars don’t start, smoking, spitting, not what I expected from KOA since other ones were amazing. Showers…let’s not even go there…Honestly felt like I was in a trailer park.

The location is great. Your roads are terrible. We travel a lot and they are some of the worst we have seen in a campground. You also need to check your sites every day after people check out. The site near us had a bag of trash left on it for 3 days while we were there and was still on it when we left. .

I spent 6 months there for work and was impressed with the constant activities that were available. The campgrounds are older but Shawn is the hardest working manager I've seen not only facilitating regular updates and upgrades but actively participating in the work himself.

We stay at this KOA at least 2 times a year, usually more. There are a lot of friendly folks there and plenty for the kids to do to keep them busy.

This is a beautiful campground with a lake. Close to both Detroit and Ann Arbor, but still has that great woodsy out in nature camping experience, with lots of amenities and activities as well. The staff here is wonderful, always pleasant and helpful.

i checked in around 9pm and they had the open sign off. worker that was a girl. little on the heavier side seemed like she wanted to go home and reaked of alcohol on her breathe. tried to upcharge me on a tent site. would not go here again

This is the most ecstatic and nature friendly experience I’ve had in years here at the Detroit/ann arbor KOA.. friendly staff, very fun filled events, a paradise for children.. also very clean environment.. I regret not having known this place earlier.. 1000% the best!

This is our 2nd year coming for Halloween weekends. We had so much fun. There were so many activities that we had to squeeze in time to eat lunch. The kids had a blast and can't wait for next year. There was dodge ball, golf cart parade, face painting, tie-dye, cider and donuts, and pumpkin carving contest. Costume contest for all ages, including the puppsters. We can't forget trick or treating.

It was nice but some concerns. A deflated ninja obstacle that could be patched fixed or unplugged. Also, the bathrooms were not handicap friendly. It was a bit pricey but the kids liked it. Could use a couple updates. Overall not bad...

Very nice experience and a great weekend to be there. Staff was very nice, bathrooms were clean,shower were clean. The cleaning crew was on it and consistently keeping the grounds clean for campers!! Highly recommend to families with children or a romantic weekend getaway close to home. Plenty to do. Beach was very clean and I absolutely enjoyed the staff staying on the teenagers and kids about following safety rules in the water and life jackets. Trail was nice to walk

Stayed for the first time this past weekend. Staff was extremely nice and welcoming. Alot of activities for kids. Bathrooms clean and well lit. Campsites clean and level we didn't even have to use wheel chocks at all. Camp store well kept and i like that you can charge things to your site so you dont have to remember to take your wallet when visiting. Will be one of our new go to spots to camp. A couple things to prepare for.. if you are booking a full hook up site bring enough sewer hose, our connection was at the front of the camper. And if you rely on wifi for anything maybe talk to the office and let them know, the site we were on did not have enough signal strength to run streaming services to watch movies at night so I ended up having to use my mobile Hotspot.
