Our stay was good. We enjoyed the manager, Sean; he seems to be very fun and innovative with activities.

Thank goodness the Ann Arbor/Detroit KOA is under new management. Sean is trying very hard to retrain his staff. The front desk staff I first met were abysmal at scheduling. Her listening skills were poor & her scheduling skills worse. She said I could stay for a week, but there were no options after that. However, creative scheduling by Tristan showed that there WAS space. I left after a week.

Sean and the whole crew were so positive and did everything to make this the best camping trip ever. Cabin 44 was so cozy in that rainstorm! Will definitely be back again!

Cool little campground. Staff was friendly. Kids all loved it (ages 4-12). Very clean and well maintained.

Grounds nice except rain puddles and goose droppings all over beach. Recreation options. Hot water -good pressure -clean bathrooms. Could have more snack -food options at store.

First spot we were assigned was nearly impossible to get into. And yes, we're fairly new to RVing. But we watched another rig spend 45 minutes in the pouring rain trying to get into that spot. And in the rain, the campground is one giant mud puddle. Not great for walking the dog. And the propane was not working, and we were almost out. Not ideal. People are friendly. Nice location.

Great stop close to Detroit, Ann Arbor. We were in a site under a black walnut tree that was shedding it fruit, on us and the trailer, other wise an amazing overnight.

Very friendly helpful staff, very clean. Beautiful lake and lots of activities for the kids. Hiking around the lake was peaceful and felt a little like being up north. Close to many great things to see and do in and around Detroit area. Very quiet.

The new Manager was super helpful, and Sarah went out of her way to help us start our campfire! Beautiful campground!

None of us wanted to leave! We were in the forested area with acorns heard falling through the trees & hitting RVs all night! We loved it all. We took advantage of the hot showers, clean bathrooms, and clothes washer/dryer. Our children enjoyed the jumping pillow. We were also blessed to experience great weather. Praise God for His good gifts! We pray for Him to make a way for us to come again.

Stay was great lots to do for everyone. Only wish the people in the site next to us didn't let their dog run around off a leash and the employees who saw it would have said something. Other than that a nice and relaxing weekend

Not very relaxing place, 4 drunk men next to us, couple on other side of us blasting music at 10pm. It’s a party place. We stopped for one night passing through

1 night stop over on way home. Very dirty & disgusting campsite. Small sites, difficult to get in, no grass anywhere just dirt. Groups of people drinking & very loud at night. Staff very unfriendly, sign in office stated “if you don’t like it, leave”. Very surprised KOA would associate their name with this campground.

Nice camp on a small lake. Lots to do. No cable. Decent over the air TV reception. Poor WiFi. Don’t know why in this day and age that WiFi, an almost essential service, is always this poor.

The roads & sites are dirt creating a dusty/muddy mess on everything. The electric boxes have outlets that don’t work and have overgrown trees throughout. Everyone appreciates some natural shade, but the trees literally drop acorns that pelt the camper roof constantly. This campground would be a poor Journey and is a pathetic Holiday. Campground charges for all play activities. KOA needs to audi

I would have preferred to camp away from the falling acorns (big ones) that hit my trailer every 15 minutes; there were open spaces in the other section. Why not start there? Also, the nearly cut down trees (stumps) that are lined through out my section are a trip hazzard and problem for vehicles. Remove them.

"Large grassy areas near the bathhouse.....comes complete with a picnic table and fire ring for making." This was what I selected, but not what I received. The sites were actually dirty, grassless, muddy bogs with no picnic tables or fire rings. You could have given me a heads up and switched me to an available grassy site. Unnecessarily disappointing experience.

Very clean and quiet! Conveniently located near Ann Arbor and Dearborn. Was able to have packages sent to us! Restrooms and showers were great with strong pressure and very hot water! Loved our site and will return in the spring. Thanks!

Second time here facilities and staff are great. Tree stumps and parked vehicles sticking out the pull though site (173) was very difficult to exit. Had to go wrong way on one way loop. Some extra communication to guests to keep their vehicles within their site and stump removal atsites on the ends of the roadway would make it better.

There was lots to do for the family. The lodge is amazing and convenient when traveling far with kids. We were pleased with the kindness and hospitality of the staff for our 2nd visit in 3 months!

1st time booking online, I didn't look in a site because I did not know I needed to pay extra $ (which I think it ridiculous), so when we arrived I was given site 139. My trailer is 38 feet long, it was a tight squeeze and even though I paid for a full thru, my husband had to back it in. I am reaching the max characters limit and I have more to say. We made a quick overnight stop but leading up to our stay, we needed to make several changes due to a couple of issues with or camper. The staff there was very accommodating and took good care of us. Would definitely stay again if we're back in the area.

Awesome park! The entrance is a little weird but once you see how it flows we were ok! For example we had to go out the in lane because the out bound lanes had people using the dump station! No big deal just saying pay attention when exiting!

Never used a campground shower. I tired it here. I enjoyed the water temperature and the pressure was good, I didn't feel uncomfortable about security... really enjoyed the clean and safe environment you provided for my self and daughter, (husband stayed home)

Our first time there and it was so nice! The staff is friendly and helpful and there are a variety of sizes of sites. We've already booked a lakefront site for next summer.

Staff was friendly, sites were being maintained and nice! This water site was nice for us for the FALL camping season because the campers were spread out and we did not have anyone next to us. But for the busier summer months, the sight would have been very tight and close, the next site's sewer dump would have ended up next to our picnic table. We would pick a different site for busier season.

Just stayed with my family over the weekend! Beautiful and serene environment right by the water. Definitely would recommend it!
