The staff was great, the location was great, but the drainage after rain storms resulted in muddy areas around some of the campsites. Additionally, the campground has a short season and needs to make money, so they allow people to pay a fee and use the beach on the lake and the facilities. That results in a lot of noise and inconvenience. It might be better if only a certain number were allowed.

One of the women that worked at the store on Monday was very passive aggressive. She always had a big smile on her face but really talked down to people. The young lady she seemed to be training being one of them. It made our interaction awkward because you just dont talk to peple like that. Even customers were made to feel dumb for their questions asked. A smile doesnt mean nice if words are not.

There was alot of rain and the area we were in flooded. They graded the road due to standing water, didn't help. Couldn't use the site for outdoor cooking or relaxing. Dogs teathered to a table, as we walked by the table was drug by the barking snarling dog. This happed several time. One of those times an employee was riding be on a yellow ATV and did nothing.

When we first arrived we weren't thrilled with our site and they were very accommodating by moving us to a different site...

We camped with friends and had sites right along the lake. They were wonderful! Shady, breezy, full hookups, there is a beach nearby too. On top of that we were fortunate to have a Swan family that frequently came by which was fun to watch. I would say the only negative was the bathhouse needs a refresh. The staff worked hard and were very friendly. Nice camp store and Ice cream available too!

The staff is so nice and very helpful. The park is clean and has so many activities for the family. I would and have recommended this park to family and friends.

Positives - nice location, friendly staff, nice lake amenities with beach, water slide and jump pad for kids. Negatives - roads are dirt/gravel and have not been graded in a long time, so lots of pot holes and mud puddles after rains; camp sites are packed in so very close to each other and many are uneven, and all dirt, or very little gravel or grass. Place could use a facelift, but still okay.

Campground was quiet at night, very few lights as well which was nice. Roads need some maintenance, very rough and hard on the RV. Price is a bit high but the lake views are super nice.

Perfect for families with children Great staff Amenities nice but the campground needs work. Uneven Ground, too many tree stumps One side of camp ground has grass other side dirt and tree stumps.

The experience and facilities were fine, but this KOA is far more rustic than any we have stayed in. It was well located, and the staff were pleasant. It was fairly close to Detroit, so we were able to enjoy the city, visiting the African American Museum, which is outstanding for history and art.

A beautiful campground with a lot to do, especially for kids. Big play area, and a beautiful lake for swimming/boating/fishing. Very clean and a friendly staff. The pull through site we were in was a little tight, but we’ve seen a lot worse. The site was very level. Enjoy the well maintained trail around the lake.

Enjoyed our stay. 2nd time we’ve stayed at this campground. The staff were amazing, campsite was exactly as we requested and the entire campus is clean and tidy.

Continuous very loud music all evening at campsites south of the cabins near Chrysler St. Not as loud after 10pm but still continued until close to 11 pm. I called the number on the campground map given to me at check-in but no one answered. Someone should have stopped this.

We stayed due cancer treatments the only thing I would suggest is change mattress in cabin 41 on big bed it's not firm on the edges of outside its sinking and I even flipped and turned and it's doing the same other than that it's was a great experience and staff is wonderful

We only go to this camp because it is close to home. The trail around the lake has been improved and is my favorite park of the camp. They have increased staff & filled in many pot holes, but improvements have been slow. They do not enforce the noise rules. If a complaint is made, they will tell the person to turn down the music, but as soon as the staff leaves, the volume goes back up.

Fabulous stay! Beautiful campground! The lake is absolutely beautiful! Staff is friendly and helpful. The trail around the lake is great! This is a great campground and very family and fur baby friendly! We will definitely be returning!

Activities for kids are fun and the lake makes the campground a beautiful place, the issue we had was the overflow of the sewage pipe onto our site and the next site to us on the last day of our trip and aside from one employee coming by to check what happened, the manager name came as promised nor we got any help to clean up the mess that it left in our equipment.

Young lady that checked me in was rude and and short. The cost to secure a site with additional family campers is high compared to other KOA's. It's nearly the cost of a campsite. The roads and sites could use more stone and up keep. We almost entirely camp at KOA and what we experience this weekend was not a quality KOA standard.

We love koas always a great time great service ,clean campground , lots to do but I want to give a shout out to one of your employees there his name is yazz he helped us multiple times threw out our stay he had a great attitude and a smile on his face all the time ,you have a great employee who really cares for the people .

It rained and the road entering the campground was very muddy. also the site I was assigned was advertised as a pull through, but I scratched the side of my 5th wheel on a tree because the entrance to the site was too narrow for my size 5th wheel.

We stayed over memorial weekend. It’s a nice campground. But sites are really close to each other. It wasn’t the warmest of weekends so we didn’t go in the water. Could do better with dog park. I like that the office/store is open late.

It was nice but some concerns. A deflated ninja obstacle that could be patched fixed or unplugged. Also, the bathrooms were not handicap friendly. It was a bit pricey but the kids liked it. Could use a couple updates. Overall not bad...

Very nice experience and a great weekend to be there. Staff was very nice, bathrooms were clean,shower were clean. The cleaning crew was on it and consistently keeping the grounds clean for campers!! Highly recommend to families with children or a romantic weekend getaway close to home. Plenty to do. Beach was very clean and I absolutely enjoyed the staff staying on the teenagers and kids about following safety rules in the water and life jackets. Trail was nice to walk

Stayed for the first time this past weekend. Staff was extremely nice and welcoming. Alot of activities for kids. Bathrooms clean and well lit. Campsites clean and level we didn't even have to use wheel chocks at all. Camp store well kept and i like that you can charge things to your site so you dont have to remember to take your wallet when visiting. Will be one of our new go to spots to camp. A couple things to prepare for.. if you are booking a full hook up site bring enough sewer hose, our connection was at the front of the camper. And if you rely on wifi for anything maybe talk to the office and let them know, the site we were on did not have enough signal strength to run streaming services to watch movies at night so I ended up having to use my mobile Hotspot.
