It’s because of people like Chris, who works at Ann Arbor KOA that brings me back. I had an electrical issue with our pedestal at 10 pm one night and he came right away. Also I needed some tools to repair my awning and he allowed me to use his own personal tools. Thanks again! We’ll be back!

Our stay was very early in the year but the workers were already out making improvements to the park. We had to stay late Sunday because of a baseball tournament and they were very good about a late checkout. Plenty for our kids to do and we enjoyed our stay!

The location was ramping up for the summer season while we were there. The staff were very helpful. They moved us from our selected spot to one that wasn't flooded before we got there - bonus points! They helped with getting our 'black water' tube hooked up, and made our stay very pleasant.

Hard to judge the park after surviving the winter . Looks tobe a great place to take the kids for a weekend etc Trails playgrounds etc One suggestion - a registration kiosk at / near park entrance . We pulled up to the office as is usual and were advised we'd gone past the turn to enter the section of the park our site was . As a result had to take " a tour " of the park to get turned arround

This is a cute little park nice and close to the Canadian border. The roads need some serious grading and fixing to improve it. Our site was fine but the mud and potholes make it tough to get in and out.

Very muddy payed for a lake side view wasn't able to use it was very hard to back and medium size travel trailer into the spot guy at the desk said if that spot don't suit we go ahead and move so we did so payed more than I should have the place had half there stuff broken showers laundry broken very muddy very tight roads next visit will be at monroe county koa in Petersburg mi

Cabin needed cleaned ( cob webs, tables where sticky and it smelled of cigarette smoke) the outside giant pot holes everywhere, fire pit on incline, cigarette butts all over the ground)

My kids and I stayed in cabin #2 for two nights. It was clean, warm, the wifi worked great, I was excited to see it had a smart tv. we enjoyed overhearing the neighbors music while we fished. We had a fire the first night it was perfect. My only complaint would be it's very muddy campground. The guy in the office sad they have plans April 1st to put cement pads around the cabin.

Stayed in March which impacted experience. Road was horrible with bumps going in, area was quite muddy (need loads of gravel). Price too high for what we got this time of year. Nevertheless, host was great at arrival, waterfront area looks beautiful.

Terribly wet due to massive rains. The staff was fabulous and facilities clean. This is a perfect place to camp if you need to stay near the Detroit Airport or Ann Arbor.

Communication was good. Stayed one night. The campground really wet and muddy but they were trying to grade the roads to improve. There are a lot of seasonal campers.

We had a great visit. Being from Texas, This was our first time staying at a KOA in Michigan. It was pretty expensive compared to our other KOA stays. We noticed a lot of local license plates. Which leads me to believe the residents relocate for winter, driving up the prices for visitors. The only complaint we had, the comunal showers. They were muddy most days due to the rain. Would return.

Sean was absolutely amazing. Very friendly and will do whatever he can to make your stay amazing! Nice big sites and clean! Will definitely be back in the future!

Roads in the park are messy and potholed, 100% gravel or dirt. Internet service was down more than it was up. Our electrical service was turned off to make repairs to another site and left off until I found the problem. The “store” was never open a single minute for the entire 3 weeks we were there. I don’t know how they keep their franchise with the KOA brand. Not staying there again.

I was upset to find a large amount of dog poop all over our site. Not just a few but a lot all over. Possibly a long time tenet was allowing their dog to use the site to go to the bathroom.

First time staying here and it was off season. No one to greet us at check in which I wish was communicated before hand. Layout of grounds not clearly marked and if we would’ve arrived at night it would’ve been horrendous trying to find our site. Otherwise I bet it’s a lot of fun during season and I would definitely stay again.

With short notice, the management team found a spot for us to safely park/live on the RV while our house was under construction. We stayed warm despite the cold weather. Their willingness to help take care of us (locals in need of temp safe shelter) is commendable.

For an offseason stay, it worked and the location was nice. Very nice employee working that day, he did really well. I was though displeased with the condition of the campground roads. A lot of potholes that I had to weave and/or feared camper would bottom out. Trees were nice, but it was a tight turn to get camper in and I could see it being an even bigger issue in busy times.

Site advertised as having internet. We had no internet the entire time we stayed there. No discount or compensation to us. We were in need of that amenity while we were there.

We had a camp site on the lake which was very beautiful. At check in, the staff was very helpful in changing our site to one that was open for all the days that we needed, and the camp staff assisting us to park, Patti, was very helpful.

Have stayed at the Detroit/Ann Arbor KOA several times the past few years while attending UM football games. Great location, always friendly/helpful staff.

Fabulous stay and the staff was amazing making accommodations for us to stay later when we had to extend our stay. This is our go to spot when we visit Detroit see you guys soon! Ms. Patty you're amazing and the young lady who made our reservation sorry your name slip my memory but you were amazing as well

Shawn made huge changes all through the campground, the up keep of the grounds, the attitudes in the employees, and his involvement in all activities! He made his presence known was seen around daily engaging with campers it starts with the leader and trinkles down well done 2024 was awesome!!

I really enjoyed the quiet and beautiful views. This KOA is not as commercialized as the other KOAs I have stayed at. The employees were great the facilities were basic but that’s all I needed. We stayed a month for winter camping while working in the area and it was absolutely perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a very nice stay under the trees with the views of the lake. I travel for work and this was one of the nicer places to camp close to the city.

We enjoyed our stay. The lakeside setting is beautiful. The washrooms and toilets need updating. Also some old picnic benches need to be replaced.

It was nice but some concerns. A deflated ninja obstacle that could be patched fixed or unplugged. Also, the bathrooms were not handicap friendly. It was a bit pricey but the kids liked it. Could use a couple updates. Overall not bad...

Very nice experience and a great weekend to be there. Staff was very nice, bathrooms were clean,shower were clean. The cleaning crew was on it and consistently keeping the grounds clean for campers!! Highly recommend to families with children or a romantic weekend getaway close to home. Plenty to do. Beach was very clean and I absolutely enjoyed the staff staying on the teenagers and kids about following safety rules in the water and life jackets. Trail was nice to walk

Stayed for the first time this past weekend. Staff was extremely nice and welcoming. Alot of activities for kids. Bathrooms clean and well lit. Campsites clean and level we didn't even have to use wheel chocks at all. Camp store well kept and i like that you can charge things to your site so you dont have to remember to take your wallet when visiting. Will be one of our new go to spots to camp. A couple things to prepare for.. if you are booking a full hook up site bring enough sewer hose, our connection was at the front of the camper. And if you rely on wifi for anything maybe talk to the office and let them know, the site we were on did not have enough signal strength to run streaming services to watch movies at night so I ended up having to use my mobile Hotspot.
