Hidden gem! This was my 3rd consecutive year of kicking off the camping season by staying at Detroit/Ann Arbor KOA. I will definitely be returning next season - the view of the lake with the backdrop of trees is like having a little cottage on the water! I love it.

The first time we have been to this KOA and we will definitely be back! The staff is super friendly and made us feel so welcome.

The staff was friendly, the location was good and the campground has a very pretty lake. However, overall the facility was rundown, bathrooms less than clean w/ multiple closed stalls. The laundry room had numerous appliances out of order. The internet service was weak and spotty at best. This is a shame given it is billed as a "Holiday Resort".

I had a remarkable stay at Ann arbor Detroit KOA. The staff were phenomenal. Campgrounds were awesome, restrooms were clean. Very relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.

Only stayed over night. But everyone I interacted with was very nice and when the site I reserved I did not realize which side to hook ups would be on and I had to switch sites to get the correct hook up

I was driving 9mph (used my 360 app to confirm) 3 staff at different times came to my camper to discuss my speed. The last one said that I could be asked to leave. Each time someone came I apologized and said it wouldn't happen again. None of the convos were confrontational but was extremely accusatory and intense for a first time offense. Not sure if they didn't realize they all came to confront?

Beautiful lodge on the lake! Very clean! Personnel very responsive to any needs which we really didn’t have any but was always asked if we needed anything !

Great location. Good facilities. Need to designate a no campfire section. I know that's often why people go camping, but if you are just traveling through or looking for just a quiet getaway, the camp fire smoke can get petty intense.

Sean and staff are outstanding but really the only issue we have is the pricing to stay for a weekend is outrageously expensive.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. Loved my lake side spot. The space was clean and quiet. Perfect for my 2-day stay. I will definitely visit again .

We had a wonderful weekend full of activities and laughter. Every one of the staff members are so nice and helpful, you can tell they really care about the satisfaction of their guests. I cant wait to bring my family back again.

Internet connection is spotty. It was impossible to use on the weekend. Inadequate for reading any news, or website. A little better on weekdays.

Staff was great but it had rained a lot and was very muddy and wet. Too many geese! Facilities are fine.

Only 2 showers were working others were out of order. Roads were full of ruts and pot holes. Our camp site was labeled as gravel. Hardly any gravel and rained most of our stay so campsite was very muddy. Rest rooms were nasty. Men’s toilets overflowing. Will not stay here again

The campground manager was VERY accommodating and helpful when checking in. The campground itself leaves a bit to be desired; it needs about 50 loads of gravel brought in and spread. We got there after a few rainy days and there were puddles everywhere, no place for the water to go. The location is excellent. It worked fine for us. Just thought I'd mention the lack of gravel.

Staff was very accommodating as we had an evening with guests. Had the new site with patio and furniture, only problem we had was the ground was a bit soft for one leg of our big rig. Had to level several times. Overall a great experience.

Campground was very nice. Very clean. Great staff. They are making a lot of improvements and everyday the staff was out working hard. The roads are my only complaint they were not paved very rocky in some spots and a lot of dirt craters in other spots. But we were told all part of the improvement plans so hopefully when we go back next year the roads will be good. New patio site fantastic!

Nice campground. The staff here are wonderful. We stayed in early spring & they were gearing up for summer. Interior roads are dirt & gravel and needed a refresh. Otherwise all was good.

Detroit/AnnArbor is where we always camp. We enjoy it there and everyone in the staff has always been friendly and helpful.

The people there were very nice! - the roads inside the KOA were very bad. had a lot of potholes. other than that, we had a great time. The lots are VERY close together. But we would return. It is a great location. Was close to the Henry Ford museum. That was ALOT OF FUN.

We usually love this campground, but on our last stay we noticed that no one was abiding by the speed limit and flew down the main road into the campground. Also many loud trucks and motorcycles coming and leaving all through the night keeping us awake.

It was nice a mostly quiet there was a lot of traffic at night driving thur the park. Other than that meet some nice people on the trail with kids The park was also not ready with the bikes , ice cream

It was nice but some concerns. A deflated ninja obstacle that could be patched fixed or unplugged. Also, the bathrooms were not handicap friendly. It was a bit pricey but the kids liked it. Could use a couple updates. Overall not bad...

Very nice experience and a great weekend to be there. Staff was very nice, bathrooms were clean,shower were clean. The cleaning crew was on it and consistently keeping the grounds clean for campers!! Highly recommend to families with children or a romantic weekend getaway close to home. Plenty to do. Beach was very clean and I absolutely enjoyed the staff staying on the teenagers and kids about following safety rules in the water and life jackets. Trail was nice to walk

Stayed for the first time this past weekend. Staff was extremely nice and welcoming. Alot of activities for kids. Bathrooms clean and well lit. Campsites clean and level we didn't even have to use wheel chocks at all. Camp store well kept and i like that you can charge things to your site so you dont have to remember to take your wallet when visiting. Will be one of our new go to spots to camp. A couple things to prepare for.. if you are booking a full hook up site bring enough sewer hose, our connection was at the front of the camper. And if you rely on wifi for anything maybe talk to the office and let them know, the site we were on did not have enough signal strength to run streaming services to watch movies at night so I ended up having to use my mobile Hotspot.
