The staff is awesome, they are kind and very helpful. We stayed in late winter and I felt that maintenance was minimal. Lots on potholes which to be fair they started working on when we left. I walked my dog around the lake every day and found they never emptied the dog poop trash containers at all. Not a bad stay but could have been better.

Started out as a mud hole and 2 days later a complete dust bowl. Very little gravel and pot holes everywhere.

We had a wonderful time. All the staff were so friendly and hepful. We have already booked two more times to visit this year because we feel so welcome.

This campground doesn’t come close the KOA standard I’ve observed over the last 20+ years. This site is extremely primitive, frankly it is a mud pit. Site grooming none existent. Dangerous to navigate anything more than a small RV around the roads. To depart my pull thru site had to preform Y backing maneuver to depart. To add insult to injury water pressure is terrible. We left after 12 hours

Check in was closed when we got there and no late check in was left for us. The road was freshly graded with small boulders and the bathroom area that was open is in need of repairs.

The absolute best stay at a KOA we have ever had!!! The staff was so friendly and helpful!!! I can not compliment them enough!!! Every KOA we have stayed at in the past had a staff that was rude and just didn’t care about their campers. We had given up on KOA CAMOGROUNDS, but the Detroit Ann Arbor KOA was completely different than any other KOA!!! Thank you!!!!!

It was a nice park, a lot of trees. Spots are kind of small. I was really disappointed that every lot didn't have a fire pit. But considering it was before the actual opening day, it was a nice place. People were really friendly.

Arrived at 6pm, there was no-one there, no papers set out for us to find our site info. Called the number on the door and shortly after an employee came over to help us out, he had forgot to set out the info papers. He was very kind though. Broken glass at the campsite, very unsanitary bathrooms. In general could use some work. Otherwise great, full hookups worked and beautiful lake view.

For a park that was closed , they had a lot of RV in the campground. This is a nice place flat campsites and a nice lake.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was very helpful and gave me great advice on things. And was very happy to talk to me and made me feel comfortable while at my stay. Will return if I go back to the area.

HAD A GREAT TIME WITH THE FAM FOR THE WEEKEND EVEN THOUGH IT WAS FREEZING COLD OUT WE STILL WALKED AROUND THE LAKE WITH THE DOGS. I CANT WAIT TO COME BACK IN THE SUMMER TO SWIM.

Very rough road coming in, huge potholes and hard to navigate. We came in after dark and was very hard to see spot to camp. Not sure about washrooms as information sheet only identified summer hours and no password was given. Information sheet needs to be updated to winter travelers.

The location was perfect for our needs, but the campsite next to us was a permanent, or semi permanent resident and that campsite was littered with broken glass, evidence of previous fires with no fire ring and trash. Management needs to do a better job of policing sites.

We enjoyed staying in a deluxe cabin over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was a treat to open the shades and watch birds flying in over the lake and ducks swimming by in the morning. The kids loved the loft. Our only recommendation is to turn the heat up a bit before arrivals, or to give guests notice. The baseboards take some time to get going (and one was not working). We hope to stay in summer!

Always awesome! Great location for The Game (Go Blue!) and great staff as always! Halfway home after my stay, thought I lost my spare RV keys. Called and Bobbi went out in the cold snow to look for them! Later found them in my RV, but Bobbi rocks!!! Fifth time staying here the past two years and will be back next fall!

Love the facilities (the pond was gorgeous) there... but grounds needs some TLC, the camping pad was hard enough for jacks but lots of mud around it. I get it is woody thus lots of leaves but it sure would be "pretty" if there was an effort of leave raking. There must be some permanent campers there, because the duct taped iso boards as camper skirts were not so attractive.

The heat in the cabin was not turned on prior to our party checking in. It was about 35 degrees, so the cabin took multiple hours to heat up and get to a comfortable temperature for us to fall asleep. There were several dead flies on every surface, so we had to do some cleaning and sweeping. There was no lamp shade on the light in cabin 41. It was not clear which bathrooms were available and open.

Needed somebody to bring key for cabin no on site, made call and arrival short. While waiting I did not know that bathroom was needing to be used in thru laundry area . Where were signs? During my stay the camp store wasn't open unless I call someone. Again,I could have been told ahead of time, I know it was off season. Oh well, see you in warmer weather.

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin. It was clean, comfortable, appointed well, and had a great lake view. The cabin was of quality construction. It was better and nicer than I expected from the website. It was a good deal for the price. Also it was close a close drive to Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. We came to town for a funeral.

After spending 10 years as seasonal campers, we have decided to invest our money elsewhere. During the last 2 years, gravel was spread on the roads one time which didn't last long. The goose droppings on the beach and picnic area was cleaned up one time. No security patrol. Rate increased every year without positive changes.

A little disappointed with the WIFI service, Only early one morning was I able to connect We did not spend many daytime hours at the park. This park was the most centrally located for visit to the area and will likly stay here on future visits.

Staff was friendly and did an excellent job. The park is good but a bit muddy - need to fill some holes there and cut a couple trees by the tight turns. In general it’s a beautiful park - secluded, sites were a good size and it was clean.

The park seems a little run down. The lake and swans are beautiful. We stayed during a rainy week. All gravel roads were pitted and full of mud puddles. The showers were not heated. We did not bring kids and they did have a nice schedule of events. We come here because it's close to family.

We stayed for one of the Halloween Weekends. Lots of activities going on! Staff is always wonderful Park is continuing to upgrade, We stay here several times each year. Love it!!

We were staying to fish in Detroit. There was a mixup where we were told over the phone a site number. We arrived and set up. Then other people arrived and there paper said the same site. We had to tear down and move due to this misinformation. I also tried to use KOA points for ten dollars off, but for some reason it was not applied. A bit frustrating.

Large KOA, but good sites. Pleasantly surprised to participate in an early Halloween event! Must have been 150-200 children and young adults trick or treating in nasty, wet weather. The park roads are gravel/dirt which does make for some messy walking and driving.

My family and I absolutely love going here. We went for the day a couple days ago and it was a really great experience. The staff is friendly, thing's for the kids to do and the whole family. Definitely recommend.

My recent stay was a great experience. The staff, particularly Sean, was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The campground itself was clean and well-maintained with plenty of amenities. I highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable outdoor experience.
