Since 1984 the Ann Arbor Summer Festival has been championing performing arts, outdoor entertainment, and community spirit.

Celebrate 20 years of transforming the Detroit Riverfront this summer at the Conservancy's largest annual fundraiser, Shimmer on the River. Hosted on June 22 at Robert C. Valade Park, the 2023 event will commemorate this landmark year and the individuals and organizations who have supported our vision over the last two decades. This unforgettable family affair will be filled with all-ages fun, featuring show-stopping music from the world-famous Prince tribute band, the Purple Xperience, a festive Riverfront Boardwalk lined with summer activities and giveaways, the Delta Dental Adventure Park filled with games, inflatables, and obstacle courses, a strolling dinner from Detroit's favorite food trucks, and more!

Music, singing competition and more – many events.The fireworks of course are shot off from three barges on the Detroit River. A word of advice – GET THERE EARLY. It's a HUGE crowd, and generally a friendly one.

"The 21st Michigan ElvisFest" will be held on July 7& 8, 2023. We will be at our new venue: Wayne County Fairgrounds in Belleville MI Doors open on Friday at 4:00pm to 11:00pm Saturday 12noon to 11:00pm. Tickets are on now on sale. Ronny Craig, our Emcee is back. He has worked with many Tribute show bands during the last 20 years, including Change of Habit, EAS Band, Ultimate Legends Tribute Band along with the top Elvis Tribute Artists throughout the world: He is multi-talented with his stage presence, soaring voice, and his expert knowledge about the world of an Elvis Tribute Artist.

Over 200,000 visitors, 200 fine artists, 25 restaurants, and a multitude of local merchants. As one of the largest art fairs in the State of Michigan, the 62nd Wyandotte Street Art Fair scheduled for July 12th -15th 2023, attracts fine artists from across the state, region and nation to showcase their work, offering a local platform to expand community awareness of the creative arts. This quality event provides cultural enrichment to all ages in a fun and festive environment!

The Detroit Festival of Books is the largest book festival in the State of Michigan. We have vendors from all over the USA and Canada. It is a goodwill effort to help generate a deeper love and appreciation of books.

The Ann Arbor Art Fair is a Midwest tradition that draws close to half a million attendees over three days in July. The largest juried art fair in the nation, the Ann Arbor Art Fair features nearly 1,000 artists and a footprint spanning 30 city blocks in downtown Ann Arbor. The Ann Arbor Art Fair is comprised of three independently juried, nonprofit art fairs that run consecutively: Ann Arbor Street Art Fair, The Original; Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair; and Ann Arbor State Street Art Fair.

Stay with Detroit KOA when you come to town for the 31st annual Concert of Colors. The Concert of Colors is metro Detroit's free annual diversity-themed music festival. Global music at its finest at this colorful, festive, upbeat coveted summer event. Housed in Culture Source a coalition of 152 arts organizations in Southeast Michigan, the Concert of Colors has become the Midwest's biggest diversity and arts festival.

The Summer Beer Festival hosts many of  Michigan's finest breweries sampling over hundreds of fresh, local Michigan beers. Food is available for purchase inside the festival, and guests can enjoy live music from a variety of Michigan bands.Please visit the website for more information and festival FAQs. Ages 21+ only permitted. Designated Driver tickets will be available for sale at a discounted rate. Anyone with a DD ticket will not be served alcohol.

The 2023 Sounds & Sights Festival will be held July 28th & 29th and it will feature live music in the Social Tent, kids' entertainment and activities at the KidZone, a classic Car Show, Art Market, Chalk Art Exhibition, Chalk Art Competition, Farmers Market, Food Court, TeenZone, and Sidewalk Sales all throughout historic downtown Chelsea.

Dexter Daze has occurred annually for years. Enthusiasm and community growth have developed an event that includes artisans, crafters, businesses and free entertainment for the whole family!
What started in 1971 as the first sidewalk sale "days," where many downtown businesses put out tables of discounted items, has grown into a well-loved event that is celebrating a milestone this year- the 50th Event!

With two stages for entertainers, many skilled artisans and vendor booths, yummy food, and our social tent, you're sure to enjoy your time in our Community. Many "good ole' times" conversations will be had where you will definitely learn something about Dexter's History!

5. All Main-Arena events are free with paid main gate admission and open to the public!
   

Rounding out the summer, the Saline Community Fair provides several days of fun for local families. Events include tractor pulls, a car and tractor show, the USA Auto Cross Enduro Derby, carnival rides, fair foods, and a Dog of the Year Contest!
