Brand New 22

Another camping year has begun here in the northern US. Spring has started slow, like a train climbing up a big mountain here in Ypsilanti, MI. We know, though, that as we reach the pinnacle of spring, the temperatures will warm, the grass will turn green and the trees will leaf out. Our flowers outside the store are beginning to reach for the sun, and soon, there will be blooms all about solidifying the change of seasons.

We have been very busy here at the Detroit/Ann Arbor KOA getting things ready for our guests this year.  This year we now have seasonal sites available for our guests. This is a change from our past monthly sites. This will allow our guests to park their campers on a site from April 1-November 1, a full year of camping fun. During the winter months, the camper can remain on the site so our guests will not have to provide their own storage.  Our seasonal sites are one price for the whole year and the cost includes electric and storage.  

Lots of new activities are planned for the campground this year. We are moving KampK9 to a new location and adding a brand new Mini Golf course. Additional activities we are adding for the kids are a Jumping Pillow, Water Obstacle, Ax Throwing, and a Ninja Warrior obstacle.  

Two brand new Lodges have been delivered and are being set up at this time. The Lodges are located on the east side of the campground on our Lake Greenfield. These new Lodges will sleep 6 people and will include all bedding, kitchen and grilling supplies. These new Lodges provide luxury within a camping experience.

We hope to see you camping here this year; from Easter to Halloween, we will have family fun activities to provide you with the best camping experience ever.
