Our very RV stay and it wa great! The staff was amazing: very helpful and cordial. Offered any assistance we may have needed for our first experience and it didn’t disappoint! I’m so glad we chose Cripple Creek for our maiden trip, and hope to do it again in the future!

Thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay at Cripplecreek. Hosts and staff were very accommodating. We requested a move and they complied professionally. Showers are private and modern. Thx for a great stay..see you next year! James and Angela Highland

The employees are the best. Especially Ruby and Peg. My husband and I checked in on Tuesday at 1. 8:30 that night we were taking him to the Woodland Park ER. Long story short, he stayed in the hospital for a couple of nights. But Peg and Ruby watched out for me. Made sure I had anything I needed. And when husband got released, they stopped by the rig to check on him. Can’t wait to go back there

We love this KOA. Nice facilities and wonderful staff.

We ended up here by accident, but WOW was it worth it. Beautiful park, feels like the top of the world. Look forward to returning for a longer stay. Watch the hills, it's 10,000 feet up, breathing can be hard, but totally worth the trip.

We moved to cripple Creek KOA, after a bad experience at a different campground. Best decision ever! Gorgeous KOA, and amazing staff, and views for days! Thank you and we will be returning.

Wish we could have stayed longer but we were having issues with the vehicle we towed. Beautiful place and friendly, helpful staff. Hope to come back!

My wife and I took our first trip with our new-to-us Casita and it was such a pleasure staying at the Cripple Creek KOA. Peg made us feel right at home immediately, and it was a joy chatting with her and Ruby throughout our stay. These two wonderful ladies are great ambassadors for the KOA and are a big reason we intend on coming back. The facilities and grounds were very well maintained!

Ruby has got to be the best KOA employee we have ever known!!! Everything was so new and clean and everyone nice!

Nice but I'm sorry to say nothing special.

We come back at least once a year because the staff is fun, the facilities are great, and the views are outstanding!

Quick weekend for some hiking, fishing, and attended the theater show in Cripple Creek. Great time and a wonderful campground. Our spot was perfect, we will request it again in the future.

Since our last stay here, which we very much enjoyed, they have added pizza delivery to the campsite. We saw several people taking advantage of this service. Additionally, they have pancake breakfasts on weekends, a volleyball court, a really nice dog park, pedal "go karts", cornhole, a general store, movie rentals, and more. We would gladly come back again.

The views are magnificent, the campground immaculate, and the staff! I had messed up my reservation, so when we arrived I had the wrong hookups. It took them about 20 minutes to work things around so we could have the hookups we needed without having to move mid stay. (8 days)

The Cripple Creek KOA staff are wonderful, accommodating and friendly. We stayed over a long weekend and had a great time. The dog park was very useful as our pup loves to play fetch and she had plenty of room to do so. We also made sure to order pizza on Thursday night of our arrival, making dinner easy! The pizza and delivery to our campsite was AWSOME! Thank you Cripple Creek KOA!

It was very pleasant.

Amazing staff all around! Very clean facilities. We felt like family, and loved that lots of options were available for outdoor games. Thanks for an amazing stay! Also thank you for letting us use the KOA as a central pickup location for my daughter's wedding shuttle! Accommodating the extra cars meant a lot to us. Definitely will be staying there if I'm out that way again!

The staff are friendly and welcoming. The grounds are in need of some upgrades. This park is at best a Journey grade . There really are no amenities other than a small playground. The spots are too small to accommodate your towing vehicle even with a 37’ 5th wheel. The spots are very narrow and on a steep slope so the first step out of your trailer is a doozy. Several campers stumbled.

This is a very clean park, with a friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our week stay here. Our ONLY negative comment has nothing to do with anything they can control, is that there is absolutely no cell signal. Their wifi is okay, but we would order their pizza (which is delicious btw), and you have to physically walk there, as you cannot call to order. Other than that, excellent park and staff!

Cripple Creek KOA is a very clean well organized campground. The staff is friendly and helpful. We were looking for a base to visit local atractions like Pike's Peak and Cripple Creek and this KOA worked out well for us.

It’s a lovely park and the facilities are very nice. Only complaint I would have is the rv sites are very close together so there’s not much privacy. But the water, electricity, and WiFi are outstanding. Very nice to get out of the 90 degree heat. But move slowly! You are at 10,000 feet!

What a wonderful place to stay. It is absolutely beautiful. The staff was amazing. The laundry facilities were outstanding. We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. We recommend this KOA to anyone that wants a perfect stay.

We spent 2 nights at Cripple Creek in a tent topper. The views are incredible, the staff was nice, and the hiking trail at the back of the campground was an adventure. We only made it about 3/4 up to the summit since my fiancé and I aren't acclimated to high elevations. 10,000 feet above sea level will definitely take your breath away!

Beautiful location, very well kept. The owners are on site and very involved so your stay is drama free. No t.v. radio signal as it is between mountains. Best KOA thus far.

We've been to this KOA once before, as tent campers. Memorial Day weekend 2026 was the first time in a cabin. It was wonderful!! The cost is so reasonable. It is a short walk to the bathrooms (but not so close that you hear everyone else going to the bathroom). The staff is super helpful and friendly. The kids and I had another amazing time!!

The world's highest KOA was central to Teller county hotspots like Victor and Cripple Creek. Great service and amenities, plenty to keep kids busy! We used one of the 50 amp RV sites which were full hookup. Our Solitude 5th Wheel is pushing 40' and the spaces are tight but doable. Plenty of 5th wheels and diesel pushers on site while we were there. Would stay again!
