The grounds in the store were nice the sites were a bit tight couldn't leave the rig hooked up and the picnic table was on a major slope. Sunsets are great to view from your campsite.

We traveled up from Texas City Texas to celebrate our birthdays. We visited Pikes Peak on mine the Royal Gorge dinner on his. The rest of our week stay we enjoyed at our deluxe cabin. The cabin was clean and well stocked from the kitchen to the bathroom. It was a beautiful view from our deck. The park was quiet and clean, pet friendly. Ruby was wonderful and our neighbor. We will be back.

Wish we could've stayed longer! The cleanest facilities of any KOA we've stayed at and the most for the kiddos. They even have a kitchen area you can use!

We stayed two night. If we had known how nice the staff was, particularly the lady that makes jewelry with proceeds going to the KOA kids, and how beautiful it was we would have arranged our schedule to stay longer. Loved the Hunts Pizza being delivered to the site and the store was great! Actually had reasonable prices. We highly recommend this place!

Cleanest site we have stayed at. The folks working were helpful, pleasant, & went above & beyond. They advised on routes to take and lent us equipment that someone left behind. Great site & people!

Stay was nice, not all staff are friendly and could use a refresher in customer service and politeness. Sites were good, area is great. Will be there again.

This was our first time in Cripple Creek and we will definitely go back to this KOA! Very friendly staff. Ordered pizza one night that they deliver to your camp site. We enjoyed the beautiful views. Dogs loved it too.

Simple campground with beautiful, open views. Easy access to Cripple Creek, Victor, Woodland Park, etc. Deluxe cabin was very nice and clean. I wish there was more for kids but there are several playgrounds they can run around.

2 playgrounds, play train, gaga ball, volleyball, basketball, pedal carts, horseshoes, cornhole, board games to borrow, all kinds of balls we loan out, hundreds of kids' shows on DVD, the great outdoors. What more would you suggest for kids?

The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. The grounds and buildings were very clean. I would highly recommend staying there. Lots too do in the area.

Wonderful campground! Fully stocked store with reasonable prices. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and modern restrooms and showers. Best part was the pizza & chicken wings that we can order and have delivered to our site! Pizza was delicious! By far the best, well run KOA we’ve stayed at. We’ll be back!

The amenities are fantastic, well kept, clean, and inviting. The morning coffee and the Saturday pancake breakfast are great to have. The evening pizza order was also neat. Had a chance to talk quickly with the owner and it's clear that he values providing a good camping experience for his guests. The staff, who are also happy and friendly, reflect that this is a well-run KOA.

We're seasoned KOA Kampers, but this was our first time visiting this KOA. We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful location on the side of a mountain gives amazing views. Spacious Kamp K9. Friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

NEVER have we been treated so rudely! Traveling across the country and arrived 35 minutes before they would allow us to check in. We were asked to Leave the property until check in time. This koa is in the middle of nowhere!

Our policies and rules are in place for the comfort and safety of all our guests, as well as our employees. These policies are documented in multiple ways, but we also give you a phone call before your arrival reminding you. You disrespect that? Not sorry, we do what we say. Rude? I think not.

After traveling hard all day, we arrived 15 minutes before 2. They sent us away. We couldn’t even wait the last few minutes waiting there. We were stunned at how unwelcoming they were.

"All Day"... until 1:30pm. At least you had your travelling companions to commiserate with, although odd to me that they say they arrived 20 minutes before you. If you read all those other reviews from folks who respect our staff and policies, you may observe that they felt quite welcome.

I'm always pleased when I stay here, whether I'm with my wife or on my own, as I was this time. The staff is so friendly and professional, and there are so many conveniences it's almost not like camping at all. The area is one of my favorites in Colorado. The scenic beauty, cooler temperatures, serene quiet and so many things to do nearby make vacations here memorable. It's a home away from home.

Very clean campground. Grounds are well keep. Homemade pizza available and delivered free. Altitude can be brutal for some and weather can suddenly change so always be aware. I purchased a small bottle of oxygen from the office/store which helped tremendously for me. Bring some blocking for leveling your RV unit as the sites are on the side of a hill and you might do some tweaking.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The dog park was large with lots of room for dogs of all sizes to stretch their legs. Showers and bathrooms were super clean. Gift store was stocked with all sorts of goodies. We arrived very late and found our information easily available. We highly recommend staying here.

Wish the sites were a bit longer and wider as getting in and out of our travel trailer was difficult on the drop down terrain. Very friendly folks and yummy pizza!

The RV sites are too close together and makes it difficult for big rigs to pull in and out of the sites

Our sites are all about 30x60 but were built for big-rigs of the 90s. It does take some care to navigate the roads and get into your site, but thousands of large rigs have come and gone with no issues. Unfortunate that is all you took away from our beautiful mountain getaway.

We had a wonderful spot right next to the office, so we didn't have to walk too far for all of the activities that they had to offer. The staff there were helpful, wise & funny! The office had a huge gift shop. They make pizzas & pancakes & bacon/sausage in the morning rec room. There are table games & 2 free arcade games. There are 7 washers & 7 dryers. There are two hot tub/jacuzzies indoors. A+

Thought it was ridiculous we could not check in before 2 pm when we showed up early and our spot was open. We were told to come back at 2 and drive back to town. So we sat on the road for and hour and a half waiting.

We can not accommodate early check ins. We advise of that fact on our website, via email, & via a direct phone call to you within 48 hours of your arrival. Please suggest how we might better communicate to enable you to respect our policies, which do benefit all of our guests.

We enjoyed the stay. The altitude is 10k ft but the do have oxygen canisters if needed for people like me who live in FL at 5 ft altitude! The views are beautiful. Very clean restrooms and showers (at no charge). No need for quarters! My grandson loved the go carts. Great staff!

We were there for both recreation and my husband working from the camper. WiFi was good, our dog enjoyed the dog park. Temperatures were beautiful, clean bathroom and shower rooms. The pizza we ordered was delicious! Staff members all very friendly and welcoming. We will be back.

Staff was so nice and helpful!! The KOA itself is very well kept up. Can’t wait to go back again. We had our 80 yr old in laws with us and they LOVED everything about their stay there.

The stay was amazing, i have never been to a KOA before. The spot was very clean and the staff was amazing, one staff member even went out of her way to round me up an onion to make our dinner complete. I would highly recommend this KOA if your in the area.

Nice out of the way place to Camp or cabin if you like to gamble. Not too close to other outdoor activities like fishing or hiking or Watersports

We love this high altitude escape from the city heat. Beautiful sunsets and great dog park. We love visiting the mountain towns in this area and exploring the mining ruins.

Beautiful location, very well kept. The owners are on site and very involved so your stay is drama free. No t.v. radio signal as it is between mountains. Best KOA thus far.
