Had a great time and so much so that we extended our stay for an additional day. Ruby was very personable a great asset to your organization. This site is very clean and kept up. We highly recommend Cripple Creek Holiday for your next stay. We will certainly pass the word around to our friends and family.

We loved our stay at the Cripple Creek KOA. The site is well-maintained and quiet. For digital nomads like us, the wifi was great during the workday. We also loved having access to a hiking trail that starts on the property. Be warned, that trail incline is no joke, but worth the effort. We will be back!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks, Joy. I'm glad we could make your work day a little bit more enjoyable!

Excellent campground-loved it. Maybe only suggestion would be some more activities at night-there's not much around there. Truly though, loved the dog park, the views, the cleanliness, the nature, the staff, the sites---and super super good. We camp a lot and we will be back!

Ruby and the staff did a great job. The park was quiet and very clean. I will definitely come and stay in cripple creek KOA again

Although the campground is nice and clean, the sites themselves are not level, at all. The parking is, but the area with the table and the firepit is dangerously sloped. If I can't get a deluxe patio, I wouldn't camp here again. I wish I could rate it better, because the people are great, but it's just not safe, at all.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Glad you generally enjoyed yourself, Kelly! Since we're on the side of a hill the slope is inevitable and it is not feasible to flatten the campground. Although rustic, I would firmly disagree about "unsafe" in any way but as with any adventure in nature, you do need to be aware of your surroundings

We love the Cripple Creek KOA. This last stay we brought some friends who stayed in a site next to us. They also can’t wait to come back. Owners and employees are great and facilities well kept.

We stayed here for a week and hated to leave! The park staff are great, the park and everything in it is kept very clean. The sites (we stayed at the top) are good size and level for the most part. This is our 2nd year staying here and can't wait for the 3rd!

A first class summer location. Beautiful weather, no trains or interstates. Restrooms and showers are modern and spotless. Owners and staff are helpful, kind and friendly. Kudos to Peg, a wonderful person who goes beyond expectations. Such a beacon of light always willing to help any time. She has a beautiful smile and a personality to match. You will love this KOA.

This was our first time staying at the Cripple Creek KOA and we will definitely return. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the beauty and peacefulness of the area. The campground is very clean and well cared for and the store is well stocked. The location is great as there is much wonderful history in the area. We are very much looking forward to a return visit.

Staff is friendly and the entire place is clean and in good condition. Enjoyed both the pizza (delivered hot from the oven to our camper in 15 minutes !) and the pancake breakfast on Sunday morning - perfect for departure day. All around - 5 stars!

The staff was great. Ruby and her sidekick were awesome! So engaging and accommodating. The grounds were nicely kept and the views are amazing. Restrooms were clean and store is well stocked with needed camping items, basic groceries and gifts. Unfortunately didn't use some of the other emenities due to rain & sightseeing at Cripple Creek & Victor.Highly recommend a visit. Hope to be back soon.

Always great to be hosted here! The family loves the amenities! They worked extra hard to fix the roads that were washed out. God bless you.

Very friendly staff, especially Ruby, who I met at check-in. The facilities were very clean which made the stay very enjoyable. One recommendation I have is to put anti-slip strips on the wood walkway leading from campground to the shop/bathroom. The “slippery when wet” sign is nice, but the strips would be more functional. There was a lot of dew on the wood in the late evening and early morni

This could be my wife's new favorite Campground. We really enjoyed our stay here. I was having trouble starting the truck, and Derec was very helpful with some advice.
Jul 22, 2024
Campground and staff were excellent, however I would say that our site was tight. Had the fifth wheel all the way to one end, and could barely fit the pick-up truck on the other end, even at an angle, without being on the grass a bit.

Friendly staff. Very reasonable prices and the store had a lot of things available to purchase. The dog park was a nice feature since we brought our pup. We had a great time.

The staff at Cripple Creek make you feel like family they are incredible people. The camp ground is perched in a beautiful way with an attention to the area around. They have a really nice laundry and store with individual shower rooms that are very well maintained daily. I can’t wait to return to say hello again!

We had an amazing week at the Cripple Creek KOA. The owners and their staff are so friendly and accommodating. They made every effort to help us enjoy our stay. There are so many sites to visit close by that we were busy every day-which is just what we like!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our rootin-tootin-gold-mining history is pretty intriguing, isn't it?

Beautiful location, very well kept. The owners are on site and very involved so your stay is drama free. No t.v. radio signal as it is between mountains. Best KOA thus far.

We've been to this KOA once before, as tent campers. Memorial Day weekend 2026 was the first time in a cabin. It was wonderful!! The cost is so reasonable. It is a short walk to the bathrooms (but not so close that you hear everyone else going to the bathroom). The staff is super helpful and friendly. The kids and I had another amazing time!!

The world's highest KOA was central to Teller county hotspots like Victor and Cripple Creek. Great service and amenities, plenty to keep kids busy! We used one of the 50 amp RV sites which were full hookup. Our Solitude 5th Wheel is pushing 40' and the spaces are tight but doable. Plenty of 5th wheels and diesel pushers on site while we were there. Would stay again!
