From the moment you check in until you leave you’re greeted by amazing friendly people and the most beautiful fall views you’ve ever seen. I would definitely recommend friends come stay here. It’s also just a short drive to historic Cripple Creek. But it’s truly the staff who make this one of the best KOA’s we’ve been to.

Ruby was a joy. She even offered me the use of a small portable heater. The entire property, including bathrooms and showers, were impeccable.

The grounds and crew here are top notch and do everything they can to make your stay memorable. The fall colors from this campground are incredible and all of the attractions in the area make this location a must see.

The campground was very clean and the staff was very helpful. We are new to RVing, and this was our first time out in our new camper. I was unable to unhitch from our camper. I asked one of our hosts if she knew how to disconnect a trailer. She said she didn't know how but would call someone who did. She radioed a gentleman named Derrick. He had my camper unhitched in less than a minute.

Thanks, Ed, happy to help with your new rig! I think you'll find that RV campers are always willing to share the lessons they've already learned. I just happened to have experienced a stuck hitch several times so knew exactly what to do in this case. :)

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We asked if we could choose a different site and this was allowed without an extra charge! Some other KOAs are charging for this, even though we are members, so we stay elsewhere.

Our first time in Cripple Creek, CO and already planning a return trip! What a fun KOA. The owners and staff were wonderfully hospitable and took care of their establishment and guests beautifully. What a fantastic place!

This KOA is very picturesque! Ruby at check in is very friendly and makes you feel like family. Definitely try the pizza! It’s made to order and they deliver it to your site or for us, it was the laundry room�. We loved everything about this KOA.

Nestled amidst towering pines with breathtaking views of fall colors, the location is truly unbeatable. The facilities were spotless and well-maintained. The team at the campground was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist. Their passion for service added to the charm of the place. The night sky was clear for stargazing. It was the best of the 12 KOA visits I’ve had!

This is our second stay here. This time, we booked a patio and it was fabulous. Nice people, clean campground. Will definitely come back again.

Facilities and location were great, customer service was terrible. Three times we went into the store to find one person working. She looked at us and turned to continue her phone call. We eventually gave up and left. Not what we have come to expect from KOA.

Sorry for your negative experience, Lee! Clearly with one staff member available, we can accommodate one guest at a time. I'm sure the guest on the other end of the phone wouldn't have appreciated being dropped as soon as you walked in the store either. Glad you enjoyed your short stay otherwise!

This is now our 3rd time staying at this KOA, and for good reason! Besides the beautiful location, this campground has some of the friendliest staff and most immaculate facilities of any RV park we've ever been. It has become our annual tradition to come here in the fall, and we may even start adding a 2nd stay each year. Highly recommend!!!

We loved staying at the campground. People are very friendly. Made us feel like family Ordered pizza from the campground on the rainy night and it was delivered hot and at the time stated. Also delicious. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and can’t wait to come back next year when the season allows. Thanks for the great hospitality

Stayed in a Pet friendly cabin. Comes with a little heater which was great for heating the cabin. I would definitely rent again especially in the colder early or end of season.

Very disappointed! The bathrooms are cleaned from 11-1 (which is insane) however everytime I went to take a shower before 11 there were cleaning ladies banging on my door with a vacuum, yelling so loud talking over the vacuum, started cleaning at 10am! I was soooooo upset that I never get a shower alone or uninterrupted and I paid $200 to stay here and was soooo stressed the whole time.

We stayed in a cabin and it was very nice and clean. We washed our laundry there and the washers were clean and didn't show any signs of dog hair or other dirt, like the last Koa laundry we used. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect(away from towns and cities). I would say that this Koa is the nicest one we were at yet and I would definitely recommend trying it out.

Sites were clean and well kept. Did not use showers. laundry or any hookups, but did use the dump station. The location at 10,000 feet elevation is pretty exposed to the wind but it was not objectionable during our stay.

My dogs and I really enjoyed our stay. Lovely campground with great views! I greatly appreciate being able to have my good dogs stay in a cabin - it allowed me to get away for an easy camping weekend at a time I desperately needed a break! We're already thinking about a return visit next year. Also, the pizza was great!

The staff go above and beyond…plus, the place is kept beautifully. Close to several destinations, the history is fascinating. It was not originally on our trip list, but Fossils and Wildlife centers nearby made it worth it!

Probably one of the best KOA’s we’ve stayed at and we have visited every state! Wonderful campground. Clean and well kept. Gorgeous views. The best doggie park we’ve ever seen!

Very nice place with beautiful cabins and gorgeous views. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Pizza made on site and delivered to your cabin or campsite!

Welcoming and immaculate! This campground was the perfect place for a getaway. We enjoyed the serenity and quiet of this campground and also thrilled that within 20-30 minutes lots of adventures in nearby downtown Cripple Creek, Mueller State Park, Victor and Woodland Park. The campground had the perfect amenities including best kept bathrooms, perfect little laundry room and KOA's signature pizza delivery service. We enjoyed meeting Deric and Ruby who treated us like extended family. We have already confirmed a week at KOA Cripple Creek next Sept and reserved a wonderful deluxe cabin for my elderly mom who loves camping! Looking forward to many more visits!
