It was extremely disorganized and unprofessional. Left 3 messages. No one called back. Booked site on line. Got there. Office closed. No hydro at site as it was faulty but not signed as such. Asked for manager to call us. Nothing. Still got charged full price for site for 2 nights although we had no hydro. Poor management.

Nice campground stay a week in the fall for the last 4 years staff is nice and friendly the grass needs help needs more water and weed control looks bad other than that ill be there next fall again.

while the campground is clean the grass has so many weeds. garbage bins were overflowing.. however the girls working in the office were super nice and accomodationg.

Friendly, helpful staff. Very nice amenities, large showers with lots of hot water but they could be cleaner. Camp sites are large with grassy areas but the grass could be cut more often and way too many weeds.

I really appreciated how lovely the bathroom and showers were. The campsite was clean and quiet and the staff very courteous and professional. I had one issue however with the sewer receptacle at my site. It was through a tube that came up from the ground by over a foot, I was unable to properly drain into it as it was higher than my actual drainage port on my unit.

Stopped over for one night, it was great. Clean bathrooms and showers, we used the pool and hot tub, wonderful after a day of driving. I believe it was Melody at check she was great went out of her way to make sure our stay would be good. Thanks Kell

Showers where a little dirty, over all our stay was okay, there isn't anything special about this place. I enjoyed the gold course, but it's not really a part of the KOA site. I would stay there again, but it's average.

The campground itself was vvery clean but there is fairly big problem with noisy dogs and more than 2 dogs per site. Rules with not controlling and leaving yours dog(s) unattended need to be enforced strictly. Most people go camping to relax not to be woken up or kept awake by noisy dogs. I have stayed 4 times this year, everytime the dog issue occurs but little to nothing has been done.

Great location, friendly staff, however, the washrooms/showers need a little more cleaning and care. Laundry room needed to be swept too. Would also be nice if the office and media room were open til at least 8pm.

We have stayed here before and will stay again. A lovely campground, friendly and helpful staff, lots of amenities. Close to Cranbrook and Kimberley with lots of activities nearby - golfing, hikes, casino - or just a lovely place to sit and relax.

Ours was a one night stay. Loved how easy it was to negotiate our 45’ class A to our site and leave the next am. Sites are large and grassy in a beautiful mountain valley setting. Office help was friendly and knowledgeable. Dinner at the casino restaurant was excellent. Individual shower rooms looked great.

The staff is very very good---even better than good -------the only thing that disappointed me is the yard /lawn areas --full of dandelions which is ok if they are cut down. The showers /laundry facilities are excellent. Just a little bit more effort in the yard maintenance would be enough to give full marks. I would like to see your reply-------Looking forward to another stay at St. Eugene- Bob

Sewer smell, campground grass & weeds on all sights not groomed properly, staff not friendly when I called lady said she did’t have to answer my call Because it was after hours will not recommend not up KOA standards, we have been to several KOA campgrounds and they were all fantastic until this one

We had another great stay. Sites are big enough with lots of space between your neighbors. Checkin was fast and easy. Laundry facilities were good.

Washrooms were clean and tidy. Campground was tidy and organized. Fishing was great. There was quite a few empty sites and we prefer some space if possible but got put in between two units. This was our second visit. Will likely return next year.

Needed garbage and recycling cans throughout the campground. The only ones were located near the office. Most other campgrounds have them throughout the campground. Also didnt really like the 6 washroom/ shower combinations. Washrooms and showers should be separated. All showers were in use and the waiting time to use the washroom was too long, as everyone was showering. Plant some Trees!

Wonderful place, we really enjoyed our stay. Access to the Casino and Pool was a bonus, we enjoyed watching football on the big screen lounge in the Casino.

Very open with no shade from any trees. Wasps were bad for that time of year in September. Otherwise, amenities were awesome and staff was very friendly.

We have stayed here a few times before - one of our favorites. We did notice that the high standard of maintenance and cleanliness especially in the washrooms has degraded since the previous manager left.

This campground was well kept the staff were friendly and helpful. Offering access to the hotel pool and hot tub was a nice add on feature.This was nicer than most KOA campgrounds we have stayed at.

Grounds were in terrible shape, full of weeds and thistles. There is an inground sprinkler system but unused. Burnt to a crisp. This used to be a beautiful KOA but now just a mess.

Excellent stay! RV spots are large (size varies by price) and well laid out. Staff is friendly. Didn’t use ablutions block. So nice being right beside the lovely golf course and others nearby.

We love this campground but it has gone downhill. The lawns are mostly not mowed-and in need of water- the weeds are really bad- they ran out of firewood for the firepits - it was just beautiful and well kept when the former caretakers were there- it’s such a gorgeous spot near the St. Marys River- beautiful golf course but the campground needs some tender care.

second time here - toilets showers are good. However the 'grass' between sites is now more weeds except for site directly behind the office which is lush green grass. Not sure why they would look after that and not the rest. But the weeds are cut so there's that.

The Cranbrook/St. Eugene KOA has been our favorite KOA we have ever stayed at during our travels! We recently stayed for 5 nights and had a fantastic time once again. The proximity to Banff is a definite plus for us! The grounds are beautifully maintained with the staff watering the lawn of each site daily. The gravel parking area for cars and campers is nice and level, with each site being well marked with its number to be easily identified. There are also nice wood picnic tables on each site to use, as well as fire pits. The KOA has clear expectations that help the guests and staff keep things beautiful. There are many trash bins around to safely dispose of garbage to keep animals away and keep the grounds clean. With the proximity to the wilderness, the likelihood of encountering animals is high, but by following the rules it reduces the chances. During my recent visit there were signs posted indicating that cougars had been sighted in the area. It was nice to be aware of the enhanced danger so we could stay extra alert. The building on-site is stunning. The bathrooms and showers are amazingly maintained. They are always clean and garbages are regularly emptied. The game room, laundry room, and store are all pristine as well. When at the Cranbrook KOA we always know to expect a clean, pleasant experience. The amenities available being next to the casino are a definite benefit as well. The pool that is available for use by the campground guests is fantastic. The casino is also very nice. The Casino of the Rockies is walking distance and has a nice variety of food and beverages available for purchase at reasonable prices. The city of Cranbrook is fairly close and has just about anything you could need. It is beautiful and very welcoming to visitors. This year the mosquitoes were pretty horrid, but the KOA can hardly be blamed for that! Ha.

This is a beautiful resort ! Very clean… nice bathrooms..laundry room… games room.. playground… outdoor sitting area with bbq and tv . River is close by with a path . Unfortunately a very strong wind storm past through and our tent and screen tent got destroyed… we had to cut the stay short but they refunded 100 percent! So nice. We will definitely recommend this property. Great if you have kids cause there is a pool close by also!
