Everything is good at the campground. But if you are staying in Tent, then the vehicles crossing near by road is noisy and keep you awake. Otherwise, it’s well maintained campground.

Didn’t expect to stay at such a beautiful place! The entire site is so well designed & the landscaping is gorgeous! There’s even a KOA motel on site! Wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely want to come back. Our tent site was immaculately landscaped & had a pergola & drop down screen to protect from the sun.

The grounds are very clean and well cared for. I did have some traffic noise but was warned when booking. The mountain face at the back of the camp had up lights and was beautiful.

The campground was very well organized and run. Facilities are clean, expectations are clear. The only reason I didn't give it a higher rating was because on the first night, some kind of sprinkler or something got our tent all wet (including on the inside) so we came back to a puddle of water inside our tent and half of my sleeping bag wet. The staff promptly took care of it the next day.

We stayed at one of the two tent sites available here. It’s a family owned KOA so everything is very humble and welcoming. The bathrooms were always clean and the sink for dishes and hand washing were close by. Up on the cliffs visible we watched the Barn Owls every night swoop down. Gorgeous night skies. One of our favorites out of the 5 we’ve stayed at this month.

I’ve stayed at a lot of KOA’s during my 2 month National Parks Roadtrip. This KOA is in my top 5 favourite KOA camp sites. Well maintained, clean, great view, and friendly staff.

Nice facility, but if you’re tent camping, know they are walk-in sites, very small and no level pad for tents. They are very pretty and they have electric with 110v and USB A & C, as well as an overhead light.

We were greeted by Tim on 8/12. He was friendly, helpful and informative. Every aspect of his operation was clean and tidy. Scott was taking care of the grounds. Everything was well manicured. The tenting area was good. Be advised you don’t pull your vehicle into your campsite. It’s only a short walk, maybe a 100 feet from car to tent area on gravel. Bathrooms and showers were very clean.

Nice camp site, somewhat safe from highway noise. Difficult distance from parked car and from restroom. It would be helpful to have two bathrooms available: a men's and ladies separate. What happened to the pizza advertized until 7pm?

This tent site was so noisy from traffic i couldn't sleep even with ear plugs The pool was a little murky and i wished the store on site had more food as it was so far from everything

We stayed only 2 nights - visited the Nevada State museum in Carson City and the July 4th fireworks diaspay in Bridgeport, so did not use any of the facilities. Hope to be back next year!

One night stay in a tent site. Beautiful area, tent site was nice, road wasn’t far away but traffic noise was not too bad. Bathrooms were nice and clean and I liked the bathroom and shower combinations. Will certainly recommend it and will be staying there again in a few days. Looking forward to my return visit.

This was our first stay at a KOA. The staff were great, helpful and friendly. The tent site was clean and well maintained, as was the communal areas. We intend on staying again, hands down. It was a wonderful first stay.

I’m grateful for the spotless bathrooms, convenient fish cleaning station, and the friendly staff. It’s a fantastic site that’s well-maintained and welcoming. My only suggestion is the addition of fire pits to complete the camping experience. Thank you to the team for a memorable stay!

We Showed up late to a very nice clean camp ground. Host was friendly and left map and instructions for us. Bathrooms were very clean and hot showers were amazing. Only con was we were tenting and the highway is within earshot.

The camp is situated right on Hwy 395. The traffic noise was loud and constant all night making sleep difficult. Basic services yet more expensive due to location in proximity to Yosemite. 70 miles to east gate entrance. Staff was very helpful and cordial.

Thank you for your review. You did chose the site next to the highway which it states when making your reservation. There are other sites available away from the highway and near the cliff. Had you notified us during your stay we could have moved you.

Totally enjoyed it!!! Loved the host Tim very friendly and helpful in telling things to do and suggesting restaurants. The only tiny thing of the ���� sites would have been on the cliff it would have been �!! A Saturday community campfire would have been amazing � ….. but loved everything else!!

We were so impressed with the campground! The staff was kind and even helped us back in our trailer. The grounds were clean, and simple things like lights on electrical boxes made our stay comfortable.

The shadiest tent site is not so shady in the early afternoon [nap time for some of us old folks]. The pool is great. The sink was handy. The shower was nice. This is a very clean campground.

Very clean and quiet campground. Nice hot showers. A bit noisy at night due to its proximity to the highway. Alsothat fire rings are only supplied on rv sites none are placed on tent sites. If you’re tenting and want a fire you need to use the community fire ring

Thank you for your feedback. Fire pits are available for rent at all sites. We rent them in order to control the type of fire and fire pit subject to County restrictions place due to our location of high fire danger. Premium RV sites are supplied with permanent fire pits.

Outstanding park! Super clean park with attendants always seeing to it. Nature trail and a view of the beautiful mountain that they light up at night. Everyone is super friendly. There's a dog wash station and sites with dog kennels. The greatest part for me was the attendant that shows you to your site and directs you into your spot. No arguing with the wife!! All nice gravel and a super nice clean grass playground, plus a pool, laundry room, restrooms, showers and all very clean. Quiet park. Not much to do in the immediate area, but a good base camp.

i was a little skeptical about staying at an RV park honestly but it really ended up being the perfect spot for us on this trip. the lot we had was pretty spacious and felt surprisingly private despite being surrounded by other people, you could hear the creek from our site which is one of those things i love but never know how to describe well. we walked down to the river both mornings we were there and it was cold but so nice seeing the sun come up casting light on the mountains that are literally right there. the bathrooms were cleaner than some motels ive stayed at which is always a relief and the staff member at check in was just really kind and not pushy at all. if we go through this area again im definitely going to stay here and probably already try to book the same spot
