Beautiful resort and amazing hosts! Tim and Scott worked tirelessly to make sure our visit was perfect. They continually upgrade and maintain the property to a very high standard. We look forward to our next visit and plan to be regular guests for years to come.

We arrived late and the host was kind enough to help us regardless. This was our second time staying here and it was as good of an experience as last years!

I’ve traveled all over the United States. This is hands-down one of the nicest KOA‘s. I have ever stayed at. I just hope it doesn’t become so popular that I have a hard time getting a reservation next time.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are glad you enjoyed your visit and hope to see you again.

The resort sits below a cliff that is full of nesting geese. It was great bird watching. I also appreciate how dog friendly this KOA is. We were lucky to have a site with a dog kennel that the dogs loved. They also have 2 dog runs and a dog washing area. Worked out great for us and our 2 border collies. Thank you!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are glad to host you and your furry friends. We hope to see you again soon.

Even though it is very early season here at Coleville/Walker, it’s always nice to get bake here and spend some time with Scott and Tim, the owners. They both go above and beyond to make everyone feels good. Keep up the good work guys… Dale and Sandy Roberson

Thank you for being our guest. We hope to see you again.

We had a beautiful patio site for 5 nights in early October. The view was spectacular and the campground was was so well cared for. It was a wonderful spot to rest and relax and it was centrally located to visit spots in Reno, Tahoe, and the Sierras

They have the best owners and work campers. Campground is exceptional and the area is beautiful. Have an awesome winter .

What a great surprise to find a nice dog wash station! Plenty of room for an easy back in to site! Sites were roomy enough but could have used a bit more natural border for some privacy from neighbors and their dogs (which, unfortunately, were off leash at times)

Very clean. Great place for dogs with a trail and off leash area. Great bathrooms. Only negative was too many flies making it uncomfortable to sit outside during the day. Pool was closed.

Impeccably cared for location. Best KOA of our trip. Beautiful setting.

Wonderful facility. We really appreciated the gravel ground instead of dirt and leaves to keep the RV cleaner. Amenities were wonderful and we can’t wait to come back to visit.

This is a very nice Kampground in a great location for easy off and on access to Hwy 395. The layout of the park is great and although we didn’t use any of the amenities; they looked very nice. I would stay here again.

Coleville/Walker KOA was really great! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back! Really clean, easy access in/out, park looks new, lots of options & a beautiful location. The host's were gracious and helpful. Suggestion for park expansion is make the pull through sites wider to accommodate awnings and larger vehicles with slide outs. We can't wait to come back in spring for a longer stay!!

it was quiet and peaceful. (with the exception of the motor cycle road noise). We like coming down there because it is close to home but feels like a vacation.

A patio with the gazebo, table with chairs, BBQ, and fire pit with wood and starter delivered every morning in such a beautiful location, of course we will be coming back often. The owners and managers do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. The restrooms are very clean, and there are many entertaining activities that are available to you.

This KOA campground is a hidden gem. My husband and I loved it. It's beautiful, clean, relaxing and close to Lake Topaz. We definitely will be camping there again with our dogs and travel trailer.

This is my favorite KOA RV Park. We have been going to this place for many years, long before it became a KOA. The owners, Tim and Scott are terrific hosts, they keep the park in excellent condition.

Just an overnight stay but what a great park. Probably the best KOA I've ever stayed!

WOW! Turning into the campground you are greeted by the face of a mountain. The grounds are pristine and so well maintained. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful views no matter what site you are in.

We have been RV'ing for 39 years and have stayed in many campgrounds in numerous states. We have never stayed in a better maintained campground than Coleville/Walker KOA. Not only were Tim and Scott exceptionally courteous and helpful, but the other camp workers were also. The camp was clean, dust free and well laid out and the restrooms always looked as if they had just been cleaned. Well done!

although the park is very clean, well-groomed landscaping, and very nice park staff, the price was ridiculously high. This could partly be due to the Jamboree being in town.
Sep 23, 2024
Cleanest KOA we have ever stayed in. Friendly and helpful management. No deferred maintenance. Level sites. All sites are great, but premium sites are best we’ve seen in a KOA. Immaculate grounds. Beautiful surroundings. Store area was well stocked with items travelers may need.

This KOA is awesome. The park is clean and well managed and the staff is excellent. We stay here frequently and every visit is great! Thank You for a perfect weekend.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this nice, quiet and comfortable RV Park, so close to home. There was plenty of room to take our dog walking and to enjoy the peace and scenery.

Super nice KOA! Epic backdrop. Trailer sites are wide, level, and smooth. Common areas are clean and well lighted. Wi-Fi worked very good. Restaurant next to the KOA is good. Town of Walker to south has Mountain View BBQ, Walker Burger and Walker Coffee. To the north in Coleville is a small Commissary and Marine Corps Exchange if your a Vet or Active Duty. Highly recommend Coleville/Walker KOA. Stayed here again 5/21-5/25 2026. Outstanding KOA! Meticulously maintained facilities and sites. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. Epic backdrop of rock cliffs. Most of the time the provided WiFi was good enough to stream YouTube TV or HBO. I highly recommend Coleville/Walker KOA.

We recently stayed at Meadowcliff Lodge & Coleville/Walker KOA and couldn't have been more impressed. The campground was spotless from top to bottom, and our site was perfectly level — exactly what you want after a long drive. Water pressure was excellent, and the whole facility was clearly maintained with real pride of ownership. What truly sets this place apart are the hosts, Tim and Scott. After years of RVing themselves, they found this gem and it shows — they run a tight, welcoming ship. Warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about giving guests a great experience. We will absolutely be back — again and again. Highly recommend to any RVer passing through the Eastern Sierra!
