Campground Reviews

We highly recommend the Coleville/Walker KOA! Not only is it a wonderful and scenic destination, with views of the Centennial Cliffs, the Walker River and Antelope Valley, but it is also a central location for attractions such as Mono Lake, Yosemite, June Lake, Mammoth Lakes, and the Levitt Falls. The KOA is beautifully maintained with many amenities.

The park was very nice and well kept. It was very inviting with lots of trees and flower beds. The owners went out of their way to make our stay exceptional!! I would stay there anytime I’m in the area. I wished more parks were like this one. Tim and Scott were great host.

One of the best places we've have stayed. This was our 3rd year there. Already booked for next year. Tim and Scott and staff were so amazing and accommodating. Clean, fun and friendly. I will always recommend this location and that is mostly due to how hard Tim, Scott and crew work to make this place so very enjoyable.

I loved my camping spot (tent), it was secluded and quiet and I had a great view if the craggy mountain next to the camp. So many birds to see and hear. A great place to start an adventure for site seeing or whatever you want.

Very nice local area - close to Topaz Lake and Nevada cities; Minden, Gardnerville, and Reno. The service was wonderful. Highly recommended and looking forward to visiting again.

I loved everything about this KOA. It was clean, quiet and well managed, we will definitely be back.

Very friendly staff, immaculate private shower rooms and everything was in well maintained order. The Kamp K9 was excellent and the Paw Pen sites were perfect. Highly recommend this as a base camp for some local attractions. Less than 15 mins from the Nevada border for gambling or some Steak. The Coachwhip Cafe while not affiliated with the KOA was open and the food (Dine out) was top notch.

we loved this place and will definitely be back. It was the surprise discovery of our trip, and as we traverse the eastern sierras at least once a year, we are very happy about this discovery. The staff are excellent, helpful and friendly -and it takes the prize as the cleanest of all the KOA's we stayed at on this trip! Plus, the view and layout of the campground are perfect.

A super clean, very very well-maintained and clearly much loved KOA. We could not believe how beautiful it was along with the scenery. It’s a great base camp for exploring the Eastern Sierras. We found everyone to be kind. The owners plan on expanding to even more deluxe sites and I cannot imagine what they will be doing considering all the premium amenities that came already with our site. THAN

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming KOA. The facilities are extremely clean and well maintained. The staff is professional and courteous. We really enjoyed swimming in the pool with the beautiful Centennial Bluff as a backdrop. We will definitely be back for a future stay.

Stayed here for two nights. The facilities are amazing. We had a deluxe patio and they even had wood waiting for us to make a fire and the BBQ was ready for use. The pictures do not do it justice. It is beautiful and the crew were very helpful. We are staying here on our return trip. Can't wait to return and hopefully do some fishing nearby!

This is in my Top 2 favorite KOA’s. Staff was super friendly and the view was wonderful. Small BBQ joint in town has a great atmosphere with local beer. Don’t forget to hike the trail. It’s well worth it.

This park has to be one of the top ones we have visited. We use KOA everytime we can so we have been in many.

Very relaxing weekend. We love coming to Coleville/Walker KOA because it's only an hour and a half away. It's clean, the spots are reasonably spacious, there are plenty of dog runs and the staff are very friendly. We had a nice chat with Dolores and Allen, two of the camp hosts. We will definitely be back soon.

The grounds were well maintained, and bathrooms clean. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Totally out of KOA control, but the river was so high and active that we weren't able to fish or enjoy swimming, leaving us with no real outdoor recreation. The area is quite barren and almost feels like a ghost town. We would not return, but would be fine as a stopover for yosemite or tahoe.

Very nice, well-kept campground/ RV Park. One of the best I've ever seen, if not the best. We stay here often when we are looking for short get away for a few days.

Outstanding park! Super clean park with attendants always seeing to it. Nature trail and a view of the beautiful mountain that they light up at night. Everyone is super friendly. There's a dog wash station and sites with dog kennels. The greatest part for me was the attendant that shows you to your site and directs you into your spot. No arguing with the wife!! All nice gravel and a super nice clean grass playground, plus a pool, laundry room, restrooms, showers and all very clean. Quiet park. Not much to do in the immediate area, but a good base camp.

i was a little skeptical about staying at an RV park honestly but it really ended up being the perfect spot for us on this trip. the lot we had was pretty spacious and felt surprisingly private despite being surrounded by other people, you could hear the creek from our site which is one of those things i love but never know how to describe well. we walked down to the river both mornings we were there and it was cold but so nice seeing the sun come up casting light on the mountains that are literally right there. the bathrooms were cleaner than some motels ive stayed at which is always a relief and the staff member at check in was just really kind and not pushy at all. if we go through this area again im definitely going to stay here and probably already try to book the same spot
