The site was level and clean. The patio was marvelous & supplied with wood for the fire and a fire starter. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner on the patio and talking around the fire after dinner. Great stay!

Nice neat campground. Friendly checkin. Spent one overnight there. Some unavoidably road noise that calms down a little but would recommend if needing a place in the area.

Lovely well-appointed campground. Places to walk with dogs, trail down to river if you like to fish. Great burger place -walker burger- down road. Owners were great. Showers clean, tiled, great water pressure. Beautiful views from nicely terraced sites.

Beautiful campground, hot showers, everything is spotless. Tim and Scott are awesome owners and work hard to keep campground safe and friendly. Make sure you say Hello to Cooper �ϋ��ϋ��ϋ�Their work campers are very helpful. There is access to fishing on the property. We had a great stay and will come back again. Best KOA !!

EXCELLENT CAMPGROUND. VERY CLEAN, CAMP HOST WAS AMAZING. IT IS THE BEST KOA WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN. WE WILL BE BACK TO STAY LONGER.

Exceptional! Friendly, helpful, spotlessly clean. We couldn't have asked for a better place to call home for a weekend of leaf-peeping in the high Sierra. The mountain views are great too. We'll be back, for sure

Very clean and comfortable. A little out of the way of most points of interest but a lovely place to stay and relax. We stayed 3 nights and made day trips to explore. Lots of amenities but the pool had already closed for the season.

Friendly staff, clean and in great repair. The WIFI worked great! The only thing is the road noise, being that they are right next to Hwy 395, but they are upfront on their website about the noise. The fishing spot they have on the Walker River is very nice as well!

We traveled from Arizona up to Oregon and stayed at five different. KOA‘s and this one is by far the cleanest nicest campsite ever. It’s beautiful I highly recommend it.

KOA was close to where we wanted to explore. Actually, we wound up staying another 3 days from our previous plan. Very clean areas. K9 areas were kept cleaned up of weeds and stickers!

We love staying here. Pull-throughs are level and spacious for overnight. We’ve stayed in the back-ins for a week at a time. Beautiful views, great walking trails. They have added fire pits and BBQs at many sites. It is a 10+ campground!

This site has seasoned staff that take pride in the property. It's clean, well layed out, and properly managed. Also friendly and take the time to make sure you have what you need. Other than the 395 being a bit noisy at times with the harleys and all going up and down the 395, it's a neat little property and simple to get to. We like it and will come back many times.

This is our favorite KOA and campground!! Our first time experiencing it in fall! We stayed in the trailer you can rent. We loved it! It came stocked with all the things you need, all we needed to bring was the food and fun! The campground owners are great, they always greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome! Can’t wait to return in summer!

The owners are wonderful. They go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The property is very well maintained and very clean. We have recommended them to others who have said it was great as well. Best KOA we have stayed.

We really enjoyed our stay there. It is one of the nicest KOA’s we have stayed in. The Camp Hosts were also some of the nicest people we have encountered. They were very pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend stay here!!!!!

We stayed two nights here. We enjoyed the pool and lawn area around it, the trail to the river, the trail along the back of the park. The facility is clean and well maintained. The staff were all friendly and professional. I would stay here again.

KOAs are our favorite campgrounds and this KOA is by far our favorite. It has everything we needed, was well organized and the atmosphere just felt comfortable. If we could have picked it up and taken it with us on the rest of our travels, we would have.

no 5 star beacuse my friend was locked in the bathroom on the very first use the dead bolt broke and trap him in there he had no phone with him to call lucky he knew how to take door pins off the door to get out he was in a panic ,then came the nasty phone message which i erased and un called for,im a door guy and the door is warped putting presure on the locks & failed not our fault !!

Unfortunately mechanical issues can happen, no fault of anyone. We are curious as to why you didn't notify staff or the office of the issue. Or why you left without notifying the office. We could have easily removed the deadbolt, and not have you take the door off, creating $500 in damages.

The camp is situated right on Hwy 395. The traffic noise was loud and constant all night making sleep difficult. Basic services yet more expensive due to location in proximity to Yosemite. 70 miles to east gate entrance. Staff was very helpful and cordial.

Thank you for your review. You did chose the site next to the highway which it states when making your reservation. There are other sites available away from the highway and near the cliff. Had you notified us during your stay we could have moved you.

Outstanding park! Super clean park with attendants always seeing to it. Nature trail and a view of the beautiful mountain that they light up at night. Everyone is super friendly. There's a dog wash station and sites with dog kennels. The greatest part for me was the attendant that shows you to your site and directs you into your spot. No arguing with the wife!! All nice gravel and a super nice clean grass playground, plus a pool, laundry room, restrooms, showers and all very clean. Quiet park. Not much to do in the immediate area, but a good base camp.

Super nice KOA! Epic backdrop. Trailer sites are wide, level, and smooth. Common areas are clean and well lighted. Wi-Fi worked very good. Restaurant next to the KOA is good. Town of Walker to south has Mountain View BBQ, Walker Burger and Walker Coffee. To the north in Coleville is a small Commissary and Marine Corps Exchange if your a Vet or Active Duty. Highly recommend Coleville/Walker KOA. Stayed here again 5/21-5/25 2026. Outstanding KOA! Meticulously maintained facilities and sites. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. Epic backdrop of rock cliffs. Most of the time the provided WiFi was good enough to stream YouTube TV or HBO. I highly recommend Coleville/Walker KOA.
