Great location, friendly people and clean facilities. Loved the convenience of your dog bath, especially after playing in the dry and dusty surroundings.

We cannot rave enough about this KOA location! The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the park, the views and all the amenities it has to offer. We enjoy staying here even though we are 30 minutes from home. They even now have pizza!! Customizable, delivered to you site and very delicious! We tell everyone we know about this KOA in our area. Our kids enjoy the rec room and pool.

I felt very unwelcome by the owners upon check in. I booked through the KOA website for a room for 4 adults for 1 night. The reservation indicated 1 adult which seemed to irritate the owner slightly. When he noticed the stay length, he mentioned aloud that it should have been a 2 night minimum but honored the reservation. Regardless of the discrepancy it should have been kept to himself.

Tim and Scott were excellent, attentive and professional camp hosts. For every detail from check-in, to backing in the RV, to hookups, they were there to help. We locked ourselves out of the RV on July 2 and Tim/Scott got the door open for us, saving us a 12+ hour wait for AAA road service. This is a family-friendly campground and the security is first rate. Camper misbehavior is not tolerate

Fantastically clean, well organised site. The sites were not crammed together and there’s a range of camping options. The swimming pool is small but in a nice garden setting. They also have a small shop which was helpful.

Everything was clean, well maintained, and in working order (not all that common lately). The employees were very friendly. There is a really nice walking trail which was nice for daily walks. The dog wash was great. I recommend staying here if planning a trip to Yosemite. The entrance is about an hour away, and the majority of attractions are on the opposite side, but that keeps the chaos away.

We stayed only 2 nights - visited the Nevada State museum in Carson City and the July 4th fireworks diaspay in Bridgeport, so did not use any of the facilities. Hope to be back next year!

We have driven by many times, but never stopped to see what is here at the KOA. We were pleasantly surprised. We had a drive-in motorhome site with a patio. The site was roomy and clean. The whole park is clean and well kept. People working in office (one of the owners?) and in the park were friendly. They obviously work hard to make the park nice.

The hosts were FANTASTIC!!! Our refrigerator broke, and after hours they happily grabbed us ice bags to save our food! We loved our short stay, but have already discussed staying again for much longer.

Camp well maintained and clean. Site was not level not just a slope for drainage site had humps and Bally’s making it very difficult to level rv. This problem seemed only to be present on sites located on up hill road leading to other levels in camp ground. TV cable didn’t work. Rule against having visitors absurd causing problems. Over all nice place would stay again

The words are hard to find about the Host/Owner Scott but I’ll try. From welcome to departure our stay was nothing short of perfection. The views and the town finds are all one of a kind. Scott pointed them all out for us and made sure we made it to the 84 degree temp pool to cool off after a long days journey. If you’re making your way up the 395 and need a place to stay, this your KOA.

Excellent. Had everything I needed for cooking. Which was great when you cannot bring your camping/cooking utensils. And having 2 full beds was fantastic and room very clean.

Upon arrival we were greeted by Tim, he escorted us to our site and asked if we needed anything. As it turned out we needed a mechanic, he referred us to Bobs Performance Center. Tim, thank you!

I’ve been RV camping for close to 20 years, and this park is my all-time favorite. I’ve been coming here for probably 15 years. The park is clean, impeccably maintained, and seems to attract a friendly crowd. The owners and staff always make me feel welcomed.

This is, without a doubt, the best maintained campground we have ever stayed at. Everything is clean and the sites are perfectly level side to side, making setup much easier. And the staff is very friendly, going out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Our stays at Coleville/Walker KOA are the highlights of our Summer travel. The Owners & Staff are awesome, and go above and beyond to make sure our stay is perfect each visit. We plan multiple trips there each year and look forward to the excellent service and meticulously kept campground. Great Job!

This was our first KOA and it made such a huge impression! Stayed here for Labor Day weekend. We booked the premium family tent site. Very spacious. There's room for 3 medium sized tents and had a little gazebo with a retractable shade. Each site has a water spigot. The campground is super clean, especially the bathrooms which was a huge plus for my wife. There's lots of amenities from a fish cleaning station, dog washing station, a 24 hour coin laundry, pizza made to order and delivered to your site on certain days. Staff on the front desk was friendly and informative. Everyone was polite. Never met any rude staff. Overall, with the amenities and the Walker River nearby, Tahoe being 1 hour north, June Lake and Tuolomne meadows 1 hour south, this was an excellent base camp and we plan to come back in the future!
