What a great campground as we towed our Minnie 900 miles up from VA to visit our NH family. Pros - incredible staff and camp store, excellent food offerings, very clean pool, laundry, and bathrooms, beautiful location, quiet, friendly/happy campers around us, and a most wonderful dog park. Cons - too far from VA (LOL) Thanks to all as you made our almost two-week stay memorable!!!!!

We had arrived around 2pm and within minutes of being there we were swarmed by bees... the front desk got us water, ice, and after bite. They immediately went to my site a sprayed them...and also offering to switch my campsite. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and safe. A fire happened during our stay at 3am. The staff handled it well no one was injured.

My family and I have been camping at Chocorua for 18 years, we love it. Peaceful, fun, relaxing, and the staff is always friendly.

We just spent another great weekend at the Chocorua KOA, and their entire team is the best! General Manager Bob keeps things running smoothly, and always makes us feel welcome. We try to visit at least a couple of times each year, but want to try to come more often.

The staff were outstanding and very friendly. The size of the campsite was huge which we loved. We had an unfortunate emergency happen during our stay as an unoccupied camper caught fire (during very dry conditions) and we had to evacuate the campground, this is at 3:30 am. The staff worked hard and definitely showed their compassion and dedication to their campground and the campers there.

I had a fairly good time obviously the fire in the middle of the night scared my wife and daughter. Overall I don’t know if the campground did a fantastic job, alerting people of the fire and the evacuation that needed to happen. Maybe having some protocol in place would be beneficial.

Very nice staff. The campsites are very roomy and quiet. We have dogs and this is easily the best laid out campground for dogs we have ever been in. We'll be coming back for sure.

This is the second year we have stayed at the Chocorua campground. We have a site off the beaten path that is shaded, quiet and secluded. Love all of the nature trails that we can walk on. The campground has trash pickup and recycling bins and everything is so clean. The employees are always driving through the campgrounds on golf carts so any questions can be addressed. We will be back next year!

We stayed for 1 night and it was just great. Quiet, clean and just relaxing. It was raining so we ate at there lovely rec hall and it was very good! We would definitely stay again.

The general manager, Bob Ouellette went out of his way to help me with a malfunctioning awning. He was very accommodating and very helpful and we solve the problem and as such, I extended my stay because of his hospitality very nice staff very clean campground very well run for young families

Very nice people and well-kept campground. Many things to do in the evening and a great place for kids and dogs. My only complaint is the camping spot they put our 37' fifth wheel camper in was a pull through and was tight to get into. We could not drive out and needed to back out and go through the open camp site next to ours. If that site was occupied, we would not have gotten out.

Sites are nice and private and I liked that the sites were set up so the nearby sites aware was not in your site like some other campgrounds are.

The people who work there were very friendly and helpful. The camp site and all the facilities were very clean. The one suggestion I have is to update the bath house closest to the camp store. I am 6'2, 230lbs and a very tight fit in the stalls. Other than that, a beautiful place to stay.

One of the best campgrounds we've stayed at. They had very transparent information ready for you at check-in. The campground is fixed up so quaint and cute. The fishing was phenomenal.

My favorite campground! It is clean and bath facilities are clean also. Every employee is so accommodating and helpful. I've been coming here for probably 5 years or so and never had a bad experience. Looking forward to next year! Love Love Love Chocorua ! :)

Late arrival dealt with beautifully! Andy came to the gate and escorted us to our site, even helped us back our camper in using the lights of his golf cart to illuminate the dark campsite. Activities were varied and extensive (it was Pirate Weekend!). Campground was clean. Camp store was well stocked. Bike riding in nearby Tamworth was EXCELLENT!!! This was our first time and WE WILL BE BACK!

My friends and our families come to Chocorua a few times throughout the camping season. We always have such a great time and look forward to coming back year after year! We look forward to the themed weekends and taking our paddle boards out on the pond to enjoy the spectacular views of the mountains in the distance!

While we truly enjoy staying at Chocorua there is def room for improvements and updates. We were happy to see a new grill on our site, but the decking on ours an others needs updating. There are quite a few boards that are weak and sink in. It looks like they have just been flipped over and re nailed. We were sad to see the buckeneer dance wasn’t happening this year as the kids love it.

We had a great time. Christmas in July "Snowflake Dance" was awesome. So cute to see our great-granddaughter dancing with other "littles". We did have a septic issue(campground had no seals on septic) but that was taken care of by them at our request. Pool area needs attention-chairs & tables were filthy!! Overall we enjoyed our stay. Staff were very attentive. Showers were good. Thank you .

We have been staying at this campground for near 20 years (began with kids and a dog, now just my husband and me). We love the sites, privacy in between them, the area, activities (kayaking, fishing, trails, and relaxing), and most importantly the people who work there (Steve, Doris, Bob). Our camping experience is awesome there and we look forward to next year!

My only complaint, and to me it's a big one, I was told upon arrival that outside firewood was not allowed. I bought 2 bundles from you and it was wet and literally moldy!! Good thing for me people sell it on the road on either side of your entrance. Just saying!

Only issue was it appears cable provider in area “upgraded” system which apparently is not compatible with TV. Like to have TV for news and weather. Still a very nice campground with nice staff.

Everything was lovely. My only issue was the fire pit. The inside of it was disintegrated so I couldn’t use the grate on it to cook. Other then that, we loved it

First of all, the campground is very tight for campers. Second, we were placed downwind of the bathrooms and could smell sewer during our entire stay, we ended up leaving a day early because we couldn’t stand it anymore.
