Campground has a lot of potential but for an "upgraded" Holiday park it was very run down. Staff was friendly but not helpful. Grass was very long, trash all over our campsite that had been there for a long time. Trash, including a dog poop bag on another site along the road very visible was there the entire 3 days we stayed. Watched staff walk right by several times and ignored the trash.

The stay was nice enough. We got a good spot near the entrance, club house and bathouses. The only negatives were that I noticed quite a lot of loose trash that just sat, even a tshirt that stayed in the road for 6 days until I eventually picked it up and threw it in the trash myself.

We stayed for two nights. Asked for a fire ring, which was stated in confirmation email. I was told they would bring one if there was not one at the site. No courtesy driver to the site. Bought wood, needed to retrieve it myself. Not delivered to sure. Needed a code to the bathrooms that were okay at best.

Office staff were wonderful. The stray cats were a problem,kept tearing open trash bags and scattering the trash. Also the staff that collected the garbage did not pick up the trash that the cats scattered. Our site had a stump in it that had sprouts growing out of it that made it all but impossible to walk around the table even with it pushed up to the camper side. The grass was overgrown.

Has potential. Needs to clean up, trim bushes and mow. Pool looked nice. All new picnic tables. Laundry room was ok but needed more air.

Grass isn’t mowed. Campsite flooded during rain. Mulch instead of gravel so an absolute mess while raining. Right next to a trailer park that isn’t kept up. Lots of traffic at entrance so hard to get in and out of. Not a good experience.

What a wonderful KOA, right off I-26, easy to check in, central to everything and places we intended to see. easy to set up visits from my family to use the pool and spend the day. We will recommend Charleston KOA to our family and friends.

Great site! Everything was great except one thing. I was there from Friday until Wednesday. On Friday when the cable was hooked up, I had cable. Later that afternoon, no cable. A call was made to the office and a sweet young lady brought a small tv down to check it and found there was no signal. I didn’t hear anything back so I called the next day,They said someone would check it, never heard ba

Just needed to mow more often and fix up the asphalt sites so not so much sand. There was a 6ft by 8 ft section that was busted everyday it rained so much sand pooled by the door. But other than that very quiet and nice

First time stay & I don’t believe we will return. Grass was NOT mowed & drainage in sites was poor. Entrance into was a little sketchy, had to go thru/by a residential trailer park that was run down. A lot of low flying commercial planes overhead. Pavement very uneven with potholes.

This KOA is in need of renovations. It is not in a good area. You drive in via a mobile sketchy home park, buildings with graffiti. A monkey, yes, a monkey jumped on my husband's back. Luckily, to scratches. The only plus was the staff nice. Will never stay at this KOA again.

The park is decent enough but is showing a lot of wear and has the appearance of a refuge camp with your long-term visitors.. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

The staff is great. The campground is laid out nicely. I don't know about the entire campground, but on lane C, the roaches were terrible. Anything left outside would have roaches. I found them in the washer and dryer also.

We had a great visit. Staff was friendly. We were located at the front of the park, which gave us a large site. Lots of traffic in and out. Grounds were mowed and weeded. Nice big pool. We didn’t use the pool. Lots of flower’s growing too

I didn’t like the entrance to the KOA campground. Once entering, the upkeep wasn’t too appealing they had very little amenities, especially for the kids and where we were camped lots of water settled behind our camper due to poor drainage.

Really enjoyed our stay. Easy in and out. Very welcoming staff. Close to grocery and gas. Just close enough to Charleston to avoid the traffic. We'll be back

Grass around our site was over 10" tall. My wife and I got bit by Chiggers 14 or more times each. So our whole time there, we were scratching with no relieve. Campground is very poorly maintained, grass was finally mowed, no weed eating, bushes overgrown. Our deluxe site barely had any gravel to park on. Pool closes at 8pm sharp, even though a good amount of daylight was left. Bad Experience

This was probably my worse stay at a KOA in years. The layout was very different as we were in a patio site surrounded by tents, and numerous other variations? Never seen this before. The pool closed at 8pm which is way too early. The staff was the best highlight. I would not recomend this site to anyone, unless you are just going to use it to park your unit and never be there.

Great experience right from the start. Easy check in, friendly staff, huge site, good central location for visiting points of interest in Charleston and surrounding area. Will definitely stay again !

The Water Connection at our site was assembled with Electrical Tie Wraps to secure it to a post. Please change it to Plumbing Staps before someone Bust a connection. Great campground overall with Great Staff and Service

We had a great time. The pool was clean! The laundry area and bathhouse were clean as well. There is fenced in dog area. The staff were friendly and helpful. Fatima greeted us when we arrived and was very pleasant. We will definitely stay here again.

All was well until a popup was parked within five feet of my awning. The popup could have moved over and up and all would have been good. I have stayed at this KOA before and probably will stay again. Thanks, Mike

Campground was clean. Didn't feel that safe as there was no gate. Office does not give out parking tags for vehicles that are supposed to be there which makes it impossible to know who don't belong. Demolition of a neighbor building was not appealing to the ear and at one point there was a guy sitting on the back of a dump truck waving at us. Not much street lights at night.

It was a disappointing stay. Staff wasn't very friendly and not welcoming. Not what I'm used to at KOAs. Site wasn't very appealing, although I do admit the public bathroom was clean and loved the daily garbage pick-up.

The pool was nice when we had good days to swim. The campground is somewhat noisy from the highway, but overall it was a good experience.

I have camped at dozens of KOA facilities in the past. This one needs maintenance much more than any others I have seen. Also, the incoming and outgoing airplanes are a nuisance. The actual sites need to be regraded and some sort of pavement added. Many flood easily and large puddles are left by the rain. Some of the sites on the low side actually flood.Many of the pedestals should be updated

This is a lovely KOA, conveniently located about 30 minutes from downtown Charleston. The pool was great. Our campsite was clean, and an easy pull thru.

We arrived late, after dark out spot was easy to find and back into Hook up a breeze and when our fridge broke we were able to cancel our expected stay and head home Very nice front desk

Facilities were clean, dog park was in a odd location and closed one day, park location was a bit sketchy, loud music at all hours overnight from neighboring trailer park, staff were friendly.

This was a very convenient location to Charleston with many eateries near by. Staff was super nice on check in! Downsides are spaces are close and for big rigs not exactly easy to get out of your space.
