Amazing site next to the river! My husband did not want to leave! Appreciated the friendly staff offering a tent site for our van when all of the RV sites were full. Bathrooms were close and beautiful!

Everything was fantastic! We were a little bummed that the pool was closed but other than that it was perfect. Wonderful views, beautiful riverside camp spot. Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay here! The scenery was beautiful, the staff was very friendly, the shower house was clean and water was nice and hot! We hope to stay here again on our next visit!

This was my 5th stay here. It’s always clean and low noise. The sites we’ve stayed at have some privacy. The bathrooms are always very clean!

Lovely campground. Our tent site was next to the river and it was gorgeous. There is a bit of highway traffic sound from the fairly busy road the KOA sits on.

WiFI did not work at the campsite I booked. I specifically booked the campground for the WiFi. I had to pay additional money I was not expecting to pay to upgrade to a more expensive campsite. I would not have stayed at campground if I had known. Management told me that this campground is located in the mountains and WiFi should not be expected in the campground.

The staff here—ALL of them—were exceptional. They care. They're kind. They work hard. They went far out of their way to accommodate our many requests, which was surely frustrating for them but they never showed it. The grounds and facilities are constantly maintained, so all is clean, organized, very welcoming. Bear in mind, the highway is adjacent & traffic is loud. A riverside campsite helps

We stayed in a tent. This is a special area with access to a lot of amazing mountain country. The people there were friendly and the campground was clean and quiet. Bath house was nice and clean.

GREAT KOA! Absolutely loved the riverside tent sites - they were large, well equipped, and with a beautiful view. Clean bathrooms, nice amenities. And really appreciated that the store is open 8 am to 8 pm.

It’s great camping spot, very close to the main road and creek. People at the front desk is very helpful. Restrooms are clean. Only complaint is people camping opposite to us were a bit noisy, hopefully you keep an eye for noises at night as well.

we stayed on the river, tent site absolutely loved it. enjoy the hot showers and clean restroom, swimming pool( FYI KOA prohibited swimming in the river) . We also enjoyed taking our dog to the large dog run play area. will definitely recommend this KOA if you’re staying in the area…

When I made my reservation for a tent site, I was told I'd get the site sitting alone at the very end of the campground. Instead, when I arrived someone else was already in that site and I got the smallest site on the curve of the road with frequent vehicles kicking up dirt around us. And, as it turns out WIFI does not work at that end of the campground and it didn't connect at the office either

Tent sites were very close to each other. Otherwise, the bathhouse is great, the pool refreshing, the store well stocked, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Tent sites are a bit close to a surprisingly busy highway. Bathhouse was excellent! Very clean during our entire stay. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We love staying in the riverfront tent sites. the cabins look lovely as well and we will add them to our to go list . Everything including the bath house and pool is clean and inviting. we will be back

This was our second stay at Carbondale/Crystal River KOA. The staff we interacted with were great and professional. The campground was clean and quiet. Just an overall great experience.

I absolutely loved my stay. It was a short and beautiful drive from Carbondale. The views, the river, very nice employees. Could not ask for anything better. Everyone kept their dogs on leashes and the crowd was quiet and respectful of each others space. I really enjoyed my two nights at the Carbondale/Crystal River KOA. I will definately stay there again.

I stayed in the last tent site right off water (site I selected). It’s a very beautiful area. I had plenty of room to set up a large tent ((6 person). It is an amazing location with things for the kids (pool, volleyball net, basketball hoop). The facilities (showers and restrooms) were very nice/clean too. In addition, it is very close to Carbondale, if you needed anything. A great getaway.

While the facilities were mostly clean the smoke from campfires and the distance between sites meant we suffered from the smoke of a "million" campfires. We had to check out a day early unable to take another night of smoke inhalation (especially with red eyes and my wife had very unpleasant asthma attacks). No refunds but they were glad to sell tons of firewood.

I've seen many KOAs, I love being a member, the Carbondale/Crystal River is one of the more beautiful and lovely KOA locations. Can't wait to come back!

Tent camped here for 3 nights. The KOA has great amenities as well as great views nestled between two cliffs or mountains. It has clean bathrooms and showers, laundry room, rec room in store, pool, and a nice sitting area by the store. Crystal River runs alongside the campground. I would stay here again even though the last night we stayed we had rude neighbors that came in late. They were loud and not only slammed their vehicle doors multiple times but had a loud conversation for the entire campground to hear at 11 or so at night. Campers just need to remember there are other campers too trying to enjoy their camping experience. Everyone just needs to remember to be respectful.

Awesome place right at the river. There was an extraordinary nice and friendly young woman at the counter who picked the perfect RV-site for us. Bathrooms are clean, sites large enough and just a short drive to Carbondale. For us the perfect place to be if you're looking for a serviced campground.
