Beautiful property and very friendly staff. The price is a little high but we did enjoy our stay.

We've stayed here twice now (and also at many of the Colorado KOAs) and this is definitely Colorado's best KOA.

I love this place, which is why I come here once a year at least. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The grounds are extremely well-maintained and the location is superb.

We were in a tent and I have to say staying by the river was absolutely gorgeous. Bathrooms are clean and new and the lounge area was very cozy. I’ll definitely be back next year.

This campground is a hidden gem. Beautiful little spot along a small river. Quiet with great views. Louise was very helpful and recommended an amazing BBQ place in Marble. We were there 3 nights, but could have easily stayed longer.

wonderful park....and the "British" ladies at the desk were a hoot....fun to chat....reserve early as this park fills up fast

Only had one night there, and it was raining, but the place is everything we needed. Friendly staff, clean restrooms, and a great location.

We loved this campground - such a pretty location, the sites were nice and spacious with great patios. And, the new bathroom/shower house is really nice.

A beautiful campground in a beautiful setting. Staff was awesome, bathrooms were always clean and the camp store was stocked. Stayed for 12 days in a 35 ft 5th wheel

Stayed here two nights, drove to Maroon Bells for hiking & photography. Very clean nice bathroom/showers. Beautiful campground with trees beside steam & mountain. Friendly helpful staff. Definitely will stay here again.

Great location right on the river, be aware there’s no dump hook ups but there is one dump station you can use. (5 night stays get free honey wagon service). The restrooms are well maintained and there’s a bike/hike trail 6 miles to town that’s great. We had some guests stay in the cabins and they were wonderful as well, fly fishing from the porch practically! We will definitely be back!

The staff was helpful & kind. My riverside tent site was beautiful & spacious. There are colorful fall trees & the setting was lovely for walks. The bathhouse is clean & modern. I probably will try one of the cabins on my next visit there.

Staff was very helpful and friendly, grounds were well kept, so many offerings at the park itself and staff are knowledgeable on things to do in the area. Love that it’s dog friendly. 10/10 would visit again.

Lots of mature trees & shade. Well maintained. Loved the patios for every site. Location close to beautiful outings in every direction. Now we know why this KOA is so popular.

Clean, functional, we will be back to stay here.

Greatest find! Staff extremely friendly and had great suggestions on things to do! Natural hot springs right on the Crystal River(free), 7 miles or so. The historic town of Redstone- 9 miles. The town of Marble has Crystal Jeep tours that take you to the infamous Crystal Mill and Ghost town of Crystal. Do not attempt the drive on your own! Cell service is sketchy. Need to drive 4 miles for service

Beautiful campground, clean and well kept. Best WiFi we’ve ever had in a campground. Our dogs loved playing in the off leash area.

Great place. Great staff. We will be back.

Nice place, nice campers, great location, very nice river along side KOA, I think we will make it a point to come back to this site. If you have a larger rig take one of the back in spots along the river for more privacy and sound of water rolling by.

Negative: VERY noisy. The traffic on Hwy 133 went all night long. Front desk not exceedingly helpful. Positive: Right by water for trout fishing. Great unusual amenities like the Teepee and the airstream to rent, as well as small cabins. Nice to see a swimming pool. Easy access to dump site. Loved that there were lots of pull through sites. WifFi worked great. Lovely view of the mtn.

Absolutely beautiful campground. I would definitely stay here again. Great pet area.

Great place to stay, very clean. Only downsize was lack of sewer hookup but understand that was prohibited by county officials. They have septic pumping everyday to rectify that.

Wished the Sauna and Laundry were open, but other than that, our stay was great! We stayed right next to the river- all of the employees were very friendly and helpful You can't beat the location- we went to both Redstone and Marble for dinner! We also utilized the bike path right off the campground! Incredible views of Mount Sopris!

beautiful spot, friendly people, comfortable accommodation, couldn't have been better.

The KOA was super. Highway was very loud. . The town was a waste of time. Hot Springs in Glenwood want $96 for 3 hours. The maroon bells was impossible to get in.

I would rate this 20 out of 10 if I could, well I guess I just did! Beautiful sites, clean, great dog park, listen to the river at night and have a campfire…..heaven!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the KOA in Carbondale! We rented one of the cabins right on the river, and honestly, this place felt like a dream. Everything was so clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The cabin was comfortable, peaceful, and had the perfect mix of camping and convenience. Falling asleep to the sound of the river and waking up to the mountain views was incredible. The entire property was stunning, and you can tell so much care goes into keeping everything nice for guests. We loved every second of our stay and truly did not want to leave. This was one of those places that instantly makes you start planning your next trip back before you even leave. Thank you for such a wonderful stay — we will absolutely be back soon!

We had a peaceful stay at the Carbondale KOA Holiday. Great location by the river and very quiet. The RV park was clean and the dog park was a big plus. We would definitely stay again.

My girlfriend and I got stuck in bad weather in the middle of a motorcycle road trip in early August of 2024. We were heading south from Carbondale and we were hoping to avoid bad weather but unfortunately had no such luck. We double backed to a KOA we had passed and the hosts, Danny and Belinda, let us come in for a bit to dry off and escape the rain. We sat in there for as long as we could hoping that the rain would pass but ended up having to post up for the night and pitch a tent. Danny and Belinda were fantastic campground hosts. Super sweet folks that went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The next day we completed our journey to Penny Hot Springs which is a short distance from the KOA. I would absolutely consider staying here again and even moreso if Danny and Belinda are working. Thanks y'all!
