Great stay as usual, friendly helpful staff, clean facilities. Only issue was another guest was upset that we would not her bring her dogs into the run with our dog unfriendly female. He kept yelling at me that dogs that stay at KOA HAVE to be friendly. My female is friendly to humans but is not dog friendly. No issues for the last 6 yrs we have brought her. He followed me to our trailer yelling

I absolutely loved my stay. It was a short and beautiful drive from Carbondale. The views, the river, very nice employees. Could not ask for anything better. Everyone kept their dogs on leashes and the crowd was quiet and respectful of each others space. I really enjoyed my two nights at the Carbondale/Crystal River KOA. I will definately stay there again.

Great customer service and it’s so beautiful there, everything is very well taken care of, the cabins need some shelving and hooks in the bathroom, nowhere to put your stuff, have to kind of live out of your suitcase, but I’m not really complaining, just saying it would be nice to be able to get organized a little.

Such an awesome place, beautiful cabin, nicely updated, very nice patio with a great gas grill, the access and the view of the river is amazing. There is a cement walkway alongside the park parallel to the highway that goes all the way to Carbondale, perfect for bicycling. Customer service is great! Throughly enjoyed our stay there.

My family always enjoys our stay here-our kids of all ages have plenty to do with the pool, volleyball court and playground. I love the quick drive to town or the hot springs along the river, and we sleep great listening to the river at night. We stay in the cabins and tents and all are clean, spacious and comfy. We love this place!

We had a lovely stay 3 nights by the river and 1 night at a tent site away from the river. Beautiful location! The staff are friendly and helpful!

Park and bathrooms were clean, staff was pleasant and helpful. I was only there for overnight stay so I did not use the pool or other facilities. My only complaint is you cannot turn right when you pull in , there is a sign but it was not very visible to this tired traveler so I had to disconnect my car at the office instead of my camp site.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful! The bathroom and shower house were very clean and nice. We will be returning and will be recommending this location. Super friendly workers and lots of activities for the kids.

Well maintained campground with friendly staff. Bathrooms were very clean. All campsites had some trees and shrubbery that provided some privacy. Campsites included water and electricity but no sewer. Campers whose stay was a minimum of 5 days or more were provided with free clean out. Clean outs occurred daily and the cost was minimal. Wifi was spotty as was cell service.

Well kept and managed!. River setting is awesome with bike path access. Road noise is noticeable. During our stay, there was a group of 40 teenagers tent camping who were very well behaved. However, this meant that the showers were unavailable for literally hours at a time during the morning. They don't have the facilities to handle this type of a crowd and it negatively impacts other guests.

Found a mouse in the cabin I stayed at. It came out at night and ended up getting into the trash. Otherwise the stay was great.

Magnificent location. Our site was shade fed and backed up to the crystal river. Flat sites with wide patio. Staff was exceptionally friendly.

I stayed in the last tent site right off water (site I selected). It’s a very beautiful area. I had plenty of room to set up a large tent ((6 person). It is an amazing location with things for the kids (pool, volleyball net, basketball hoop). The facilities (showers and restrooms) were very nice/clean too. In addition, it is very close to Carbondale, if you needed anything. A great getaway.

Cabin 5 was everything I had anticipated and more. Its location RIGHT NEXT to the Crystal River( maybe 6/8 feet!) was really nice. Window open all night, the sounds lulled me to sleep. I particularly like the location of t he KOA because I ride off road motorcycles and nearby Marble has a great trail, including one to Crested Butte via Scofield Pass. While the facilities were mostly clean the smoke from campfires and the distance between sites meant we suffered from the smoke of a "million" campfires. We had to check out a day early unable to take another night of smoke inhalation (especially with red eyes and my wife had very unpleasant asthma attacks). No refunds but they were glad to sell tons of firewood.

My 3 yr old son had an accident, where he fell off his bed in our camper injuring hit his face. We decided we had to take him to the doctor & leave one day early. I was told on the phone a few days prior that there was a very long waiting list & I’ll notified if a spot opened up so we could extend stay. They wouldn’t refund us for the one day despite us leaving at 8:30am!! This is Ridiculous!

I've seen many KOAs, I love being a member, the Carbondale/Crystal River is one of the more beautiful and lovely KOA locations. Can't wait to come back!

Fantastic grounds, especially in the tent camping area. Bathrooms are clean and smell nice. Dish washing spot was great, has warm water and all campers kept it clean. Only gripe was the traffic on the road but they couldn’t change that.

One of our favorite KOAs in CO, KS, NE or MO Small KOA...but some great sites..RV and tent...right on the river. Lots of trees. Able to hang up the hammock. Very clean bathhouse. Have had multiple stays in summer and fall.

I wish I could have stayed several days! It was beautiful, well-kept, clean, and I met lots of friendly people and their dogs. Plus the camp hosts were so great! I’ll come back if I get the chance again!

Stayed here for a night while passing through on a motorcycle trip. Staff was excellent! The campground was very nice with clean bathrooms and shower facilities. We had a beautiful site right on the river with a great view as well.

Staff was amazing! Campgrounds were the same. Stayed in tent site TB and had a beautiful view of the mountain along with Crystal River. We hated to leave. Most definitely will come back and recommend to friends.
