It was a lovely spot beside the Crystal River! Loved the cement patio and outdoor chairs and table! Very clean bath house! Taylor and Dennis were great camp hosts! They were so helpful when we had issues with one of the older wash machines! Would highly recommend this campground!

Super clean, well maintained, amazing staff, and we had a blast playing in the pool. Great location for relaxing, family time, heading up into the high country, fishing, rafting, and exploring.

Office staff was very friendly and helpful. Not just one but all of them as we were there for 10 days and interacted with all of them. The grounds/maintenance staff were also very friendly and helpful when asked for assistance. I saw them numerous times getting sites cleaned up and ready for the next camper. They also kept the pool and grounds in great shape

One of the most beautiful camps we’ve ever stayed in. Tucked between two mountain ridges with Mount Sopris just above that. And lots of beautiful sites next to the Crystal River. Love it.

Perfect combination of the nicest, most accommodating, staff we have met anywhere, with an ideal location and camp design that makes for the best stay we have enjoyed in ages. The cabin was cute and had everything we needed, 2 beds. We stayed in cabin 10 and it had a beautiful hand carved bedframe. Really neat! The campfire area was perfect, surrounded by old trees next to the river, The location was in a valley with options for short scenic drives to different towns like Aspen & Marble. The camp hosts were fun to talk with. I would definitely stay here again!

Everything was wonderful! The site was beautiful and so well maintained and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The dog area was also such a wonderful bonus. We will definitely be coming back here!

We only stayed one night as we were in Carbondale to watch two granddaughter's Soccer tournaments. We used our mini-van as a tent so only needed a flat parking space. When the owner heard that she was very accommodating and found us a good spot to park. We were sorry not to use the site as a real campground because it was right by the Crystal River and had lots and lots of shade.

Love the campground and staff! Everyone was super friendly and had everything we needed. The scenery was beautiful, with lots of things to do and see. Fellow campers were fun to meet and talk to!

Had a great camping trip. Our first trip with our new camper. Great KOA. Fantastic dog run. Such a beautiful area!

Nice place, but we were very disappointed with our specific accommodations. We stayed in the airstream and expected it to be similar to one of the many kamper cabins that we have stayed at with reference to temperature control. It had a small heater that was drastically inadequate. It ran all night and in the morning it was 52 degrees just three feet away. Recommend curtains for privacy.

Camp ground is very well maintained. Staff very friendly, helpful, they take pride in their work and helping others. Very nice common room, bath house and laundry. Love the bike path to town - great amenity. Mount Sopris was beautiful. Love the snow on the peak!

We absolutely loved our stay at the KOA in Carbondale! We rented one of the cabins right on the river, and honestly, this place felt like a dream. Everything was so clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The cabin was comfortable, peaceful, and had the perfect mix of camping and convenience. Falling asleep to the sound of the river and waking up to the mountain views was incredible. The entire property was stunning, and you can tell so much care goes into keeping everything nice for guests. We loved every second of our stay and truly did not want to leave. This was one of those places that instantly makes you start planning your next trip back before you even leave. Thank you for such a wonderful stay — we will absolutely be back soon!

We had a peaceful stay at the Carbondale KOA Holiday. Great location by the river and very quiet. The RV park was clean and the dog park was a big plus. We would definitely stay again.

My girlfriend and I got stuck in bad weather in the middle of a motorcycle road trip in early August of 2024. We were heading south from Carbondale and we were hoping to avoid bad weather but unfortunately had no such luck. We double backed to a KOA we had passed and the hosts, Danny and Belinda, let us come in for a bit to dry off and escape the rain. We sat in there for as long as we could hoping that the rain would pass but ended up having to post up for the night and pitch a tent. Danny and Belinda were fantastic campground hosts. Super sweet folks that went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The next day we completed our journey to Penny Hot Springs which is a short distance from the KOA. I would absolutely consider staying here again and even moreso if Danny and Belinda are working. Thanks y'all!
