The camp hosts were fabulous (I can't remember their names - the young woman at the desk was so lovely, and was the older gentleman that came on Sunday - both were from Alabama originally) - so kind and gracious. The KOA facility is beautiful - its so well cared for, and so well located. Our kids had fun in the pool, playing basketball, enjoying your facility. One of our faves!

Wonderful campground. They are so welcoming and helpful and the place is so clean. The River sites are awesome. Most sites have a patio and plenty of space for trailers and RVs, as well as tent sites. Also tipis, and cabins.

We enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this campground. The owners and staff were very friendly and stopped by our site to check-in and ask us if we needed anything. The also loved to have the dogs around. The facilities and dog park were always very clean. We felt safe staying here and even though it was near a road it was very quiet at night.

The campground is beautiful. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I would recommend this park to everyone. The area is beautiful. Don't forget right up the road is Doc Holidays grave.

Camp hosts/managers are wonderful! The location is beautiful, however the highway noise was very noticeable. There are some sites right next to the river that are great, but we were in a pull-through site closer to the highway. Lots to do with games, fishing and a small pool.

This was as good as it gets. The cabin had everything we needed. Wifi and cell service was very limited…which was a blessing. We actually experienced nature more. Definitely recommend!

Great camp pitch - much more roomy than expected- good tree canopy for shade. Toilet / shower block pretty small for number of users - few issues with lock meaning people unable to access at times

We stayed for one night in our way from Hanging Lake to Aspen. After 2 weeks of road tripping, this was our favorite campground. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the bathrooms were clean and well-stocked, and the community room provided a nice a/c oasis during the hottest part of the day. We loved our campsite in the river. 10/10 would stay again!

Beautiful location. Cabin shower was not the best. The knobs were loose and could use an upgrade. Fan was loud and noisy. Otherwise cabin was clean.

Stayed in a tent site by the river and you could see the top of mt. Sopris. It was a beautiful spot, love to fall asleep with the sounds of the water. All of the workers were so friendly and the amenities were clean and well taken care of, even during a busy holiday weekend!

Wonderful stay with great camp hosts the entire week! They were helpful, friendly and kind! Our cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed and very clean. We loved our vacation and cannot wait to come back!

We stayed at tent site TC & loved it! Right on the water! Everyone in the campground including workers & guests were pleasant. The showers & bathrooms were clean! We loved this spot & will be back!

Campground was very clean, staff were quick to come pick up camp sites after others had checked out. Friendly staff in the office. And AMAZING views, extremely relaxing by the river... we camped in #9.

We stayed in the KOA with our travel trailer for 4 nights. We have stayed there a couple other times and really are fond of the campground. We want to make it a yearly vacation.

Loved this KOA!! We stayed in the Airstream which was very cool!! All the sites were spaced out nicely so you didn’t feel on top of your neighbor, the campground was very clean and welcoming!!

Walked in last minute, and was able to get an RV site for one night. The sites along the river looked amazing, great for those who plan ahead and book in advance. The showers were great, with hooks, a chair, and shelf to keep your things off the floor.

This is definitely my favorite KOA I've stayed at. We got a lovely, quiet spot right on the river, which is shallow enough at the entrance to wade into. The bathroom facilities were clean, host welcoming and dog park big and clean. They even provide a ball and poop bags at the dog park too. 10/10 recommend.

Our stay was very pleasant, for the two nights that we stayed. We will be back, however, it is hard to reserve a spaced on the river because they are so sought after.

Repeat stay at Carbondale KOA. Convenient to the bike path into town, to Marble (Slow Cookin' BBQ makes the best ribs and brisket) and to Redstone (Propaganda Pie makes great tasting pizza). Pool was open this time but didn't use. There's not a restroom nearby the pool. The sites are nice enough with shade and concrete patios but lack sewer connections, which would make the sites even better.

Carbondale/Crystal River is one of the BEST KOAs we have ever visited. The staff was sooo friendly & professional, especially Taylor, grounds immaculate, restrooms spotless, & RV site w/table & chairs by the river was perfect. Thank you for two very special nights! d Worsnop, Jensen Beach, FL

Stunning campground and the nicest staff I've ever met at a KOA. My dog and I stayed in Cabin #7 on the river. It was nothing fancy, but with a view like that right outside my doorstep, we were hardly in the cabin! The campground is well-maintained with beautiful views and an easy drive to Carbondale and Aspen. I can't wait to come back!

We were in cabin 5 right on the river. The river was low from drought, but just enough flow to enjoy the sound with coffee in the morning. No a/c in the cabin, but spent the days hiking and fly fishing, and it cooled down real nice with windows open overnight.
