No bathroom code was given i got that from campers. 3 bathrooms had unflushed toilets with feces in them that smelled like it had been like that for days. There was no soap in all 4 bathrooms. It was disgusting and unhygienic. The workers drove circles in a golf cart around camp doing nothing, but waste time.

$45 dollars is pretty expensive for a campsite, but i decided to try 1 night. The place looked rundown and poorly maintained. Piles of dried leaves everywhere, likely been there for months, nobody sweeps them up. Laundry room door is difficult to open and close. My campsite had some grass, but was mostly weeds and dirt. l would never camp here again.

My favorite thing about this KOA was access to the walking trail. We stayed in a tent site. The fire pit didn't have any way of cooking over it. The bathrooms/showers needed to be deep cleaned. Easy access on and off the highway if looking for a quick one-night stay.

The absolute sweetest, most wonderful people. Great views. And very nice, clean bathrooms. Look forward to staying there when we are back in Montana!!

Staff were really friendly and helpful, only downside is that for tent campers you’re right next to a busy road, so it can be loud. Bring earplugs

A camp we’ve stayed at multiple times over the years. Friendly staff and pizza available from the front office. Great pool area for families.

Nice walking trail and things for dogs. My tent spot was nice. After hours with no host was much earlier than I expected. I registered after hours, but discovered I needed a code to use the bathroom. Fortunately, I had my cell phone and once I found the number was able to get the code. One bathroom had a very slow draining sink. Another bathroom had no toilet paper. Otherwise it was fine.

I would never recommend for tent camping. There is no grass pad on any site and the ground is too hard to stake in your tent. Also, literally next to the interstate so constant loud noise throughout the night. Bath houses clean and nice.

We were one night tent camping, facility is very clean, private bathrooms, showers are very roomy. No permanent fire rings at tent sites, you need to request a fire ring from the front office if you want a camp fire. They will promptly deliver the ring and wood you purchase to your site.

Jil(ian) at the front desk was super kind and friendly. She gladly accommodated our request to move to a site to get away from the interstate noise. Bathrooms were well kept though in high demand in the morning. Could probably use a facility or two more (which may be in the works already).

Jill at the front desk made the whole stay awesome! Super helpful, compassionate, and friendly. Kids had a ball in the pool and playground, and the campground was clean and well-maintained. Only challenges were waiting for bathrooms in the morning - it would be great to have toilets available without having to wait for others to shower, and traffic noise at night. Overall a great stay!

To stay the night or is a nice camp ground. The grounds are close to the freeway which we could easily hear from our tent and the tent sites are very close not being separated by anything but if you're just sleeping it was a good experience for me. Staff is very friendly.

The propane was out on the fireplace and when we asked about it at 9pm, The gentleman said there was more propane but they were closed. Not good customer service. Other than that it was a wonderful place to stay.

Butte KOA charges double what I’ve paid at other KOAs for dry tent camping. This would be fine, but the tent sites are not nice. Next to the freeway, and no shade. I paid for two nights, but left after one. However, the staff and bathrooms are lovely.

We tent camped and this is a great little campground. The bathrooms were excellent and the overall experience was great. Someone mentioned the freeway noise in a previous comment, but my family did not even notice it. Solid spot and great location

I find $55 for a simple patch of ground for a tent to be way overpriced. On top of that, upon an after-hours arrival my reservation card did not include the bathroom access code. I had to go to a gas station to use the bathroom after paying this much for a place to put a tent. Do better.

As usual,the staff were super friendly! The site was well maintained and very tidy,I LOVED the showers,they were very cool!! The only negative I have to say,was that there were no sheltered spots for tents,just basically wide open sites,it would have been nice to have been protected from the wind,as the rainstorm that hit tuesday night,wrecked my tent..But overall, KOA sets the camping standards!!

The bathroom in the back of property is the best I ever seen at any KOA! The room had a heater, a huge shower, hot water, an awesome shower head, lots of room to spread out, a place to sit down, hooks for several items and clean! Overall the property is in decent shape. The clerk on my check out was very helpful and nice. I would stay again for the shower room 4 sure!

One of the best campground experiences we have ever had. We loved our site, perfect for our hammock/tent setup. We met the owner and had an amazing conversation about life, homeschooling, the history of the campground and area and she gave us some amazing recommendations for things to do. Her camp office is filled with fun items made by locals. I highly recommend this KOA!

The bathrooms and showers are the better than any other campground I have ever stayed. Location was great as well. Close to the interstate, so unfortunately it isn’t as peaceful as I would have liked but still a great stay.

We paid a premium price for an overnight tent stay on a small unattended tent site with no amenities, i.e. electric, etc. the one feature we look forward to in a KOA stay is the swimming pool, however, diving into your pool, gave me a headache because there was no water. On our three week trip we stayed at a couple of other KOA’s, which were far better tended and offer better services for cheape

Has basic amenities. Showers/bathroom were clean. Cancellation policy was clear. Nice lady working the desk. My only complaint was that it was pouring rain day of and there was no flexibility for cancellation when we were tent camping. No human compassion for their process. For that, I’m disappointed.

Bathrooms were spotless. Noisy due to being close to interstate. Broken glass in the tent pitch and it was covered in goose poo, it was easier to clean up myself than go running to the staff. There was no shade in the pitches and the supposed fence is laid on the ground so no chance to hang a wet towel. There’s also a river walk way just by the pitch which doesn’t add a sense of security.

Customer Service Staff on the phone was very friendly/helpful - we called 2 times prior to check in - The spot we were given was very level - the most level spot we had our whole trip that was a plus. Bathrooms were clean. We were staying only long enough to sleep in a tent spot. Luckily we were sleeping in our car this time because the tent spot and grass around it was full of fresh dog poo.

The staff at the KOA Butte was very pleasant and accommodating in that I was able to change campsites for the second night to one that was more private. Although this campground is convenient to Interstate 90, the noise was a lot to tolerate. The only other negative was that the restrooms/shower were together. I needed to use just a restroom and drove to a local gas station.

Easy access, well marked road directions, level sites, easy check in. Helpful friendly staff. Only negative is proximity to freeway and noise from traffic. But, does not eliminate location from recommendation.

She's a Butte! Easy to access, close to gas and a Safeway. Flat pull-through sites, hot showers, dog park, camp host dude was super responsive and helpful when we checked in late. Stayed twice, will stay there again, great value for full hookups.
