Unfortunately this was a disappointing KOA. Restrooms although renovated were dirty; every bathroom I checked the toilets were soiled, the sinks were dirty and there was no soap. There was garbage on our picnic table on arrival and someone had left a bag of dog poop on the site as well. Close to a busy road that is quite noisy. Overpriced for what you get.

The level of the Butte KOA is below what we’ve come to expect. First, we did not receive the site I reserved online, We were lumped together in one area instead of the area I had reserved. This made it crowded and more noisy. The sites are gravel, the dog park is tiny, no shade, many long-term campers. Everyone was nice and the place was clean. Probably the best around though. Nice walking path.

We always look for KOA’s while traveling & have always enjoyed our stay. We generally just stay 1 nite coming through town so it’s so convenient for us. Jill was so sweet & helpful. The campground was well kept & easily accessible.

We stayed one night on our way home. Easy and friendly check in. Nice big pull thru site! We’ve stayed here several times, it’s great for a stop over stay.

The Manager was very helpful and knowledgeable. The campground is easy to navigate and quiet. We enjoyed our time and will definitely be back.

I don't normally write a negative review, but Butte KOA definitely earned one. We arrived at 2PM to find everything closed and our envelope at the door under late arrivals. I wanted to fill my propane bottle so I called and was he would be there in 10 minutes, 15 minutes late I gave up and called saying never mind. Laundry was locked, unavailable. Do not stay at this KOA, no services available.

Your bathroom/showers were THE BEST! I’ve stayed in many campgrounds and your bathroom/shower were far above my previous best and may have surpassed many bathrooms in hotels! Well done! Like the bathroom kitty as well�

The camp ground was great for a one night stay. Being an older KOA it was a bit rustic. Everything in the store was half price so we picked up some great deals on some good Montana wine.

Nice campground, enjoyed the walking trail that goes around the campground. People in the office were nice. Could hear a bit of I-90 noise, but could also hear the ducks & geese, so not too bad.

It was very cold and we needed propane as we ran out during the night. The owner made sure we had propane before we departed that morning. Thankful and grateful to fill our tank before we departed heading north.

Site size was small and cramped. Camp staff parked to our front dogs barked excessively. Camp had an excessive amount of dog droppings strewn throughout th park. It appeared the creek that ran adjacent to the park was for all campers to walk their dogs and not cleanup after them. The park was unkempt. Price was way out of line in comparison to other KOA parks with the same advertised amenities

All the utilities worked properly, but the sites were cramped and the place looked old and run down. I didn’t use bathrooms, showers or laundry so I don’t know about them. However we received a very warm welcome from the staff upon our arrival.

This was just a one night stop on the way to Canada but it was really nice. The grounds are laid out so it's easy to get in/out with nearly all as pull-through. Spot was more than long enough to include our 26ft class c and 12ft tow car. It was quiet, level, and clean. The best part was it was next to a nature walk along a creek which was lovely. We were even surprised to see beavers there in the water, so cool!!We definitely would stay here again, maybe longer so we can visit Butte next time.

Excellent location. Borders a beautiful nature trail that goes on for miles and visitor center Is next door. At night you can see uptown Butte lit up and the historic mining head frames also illuminated. Perfect for traveling between the national parks, but Butte has become a favorite place for us because of the lively arts and culture and history. Well taken care of Park and you can see the pride in the campground and the amenities. I love that there is a cute dog wash for those of us who travel with pets.
