Everything worked in the site we had, and the layout was logical. Friendly, helpful staff made everything even better. Nice view of the mountains, and we were just 5 minutes from the YMCA, where we were undergoing lifeguard certification. Also worth mentioning that this RV park is far enough from busy highways and railroad tracks that it was quiet, especially at night.

Staff was friendly. Site was not the greatest. The site was pretty level but wasn't big enough for both the tow vehicle and fifth wheel. Water, septic and electrical being placed at the very rear of site means you may not be able to line up with patio. I wouldn't recommend this site if you don't want to hear dogs barking every time someone walks nearby.

Although the staff was very friendly and helpful, the camp was no more than a place to crash overnight. The pet walking trail was polluted with goose droppings making it difficult to walk our dogs. The trash dumpster was overflowing with trash. Just not a well kept KOA.

I liked the park grounds, but the spaces are very small and barely enough room for the Toad. No trash pick-up, this is something I always liked about KOA! Prices are getting to high to be able to stay and enjoy the surrounding area long term. Maybe time to start a long stay better discount.....

We had a great stay at Butte KOA and it’s a wonderful location. We could access the walking trails right from the campground as well as the visitors center. A short walk to town and a 5 min drive to Walgreens and Walmart. It was quiet in the evenings and they are sprucing up things from the long winter. Staff are accommodating and friendly. We would stay again but longer as lots to explore.

It was a quick, overnight stay but our hosts made it easy for us to find our site after hours. The lane signs were easily visible in the dark and the reflctive site numbers were perfect! It was quiet and made a restful stop.

The staff was nice. The bathrooms were not very clean. There wasn’t a fire pit at our camp spot. We were not given an adequate size site for our truck & trailer. There was a stream behind the camp site right next to a very busy public trail.

Nice for an overnight stay. Not many trees for shade. Our site wasn’t level. For over night stays we prefer not to have to level the trailer for sleeping.

Only one shower had hot water and power. Lights worked, but that was it. Not good when 37 degrees out and you have to get on the road. Never received return call after calling twice about late arrival and requesting a call back.

Construction going on for improvements. But staff were excellent. Bathrooms clean and very nice. Comfortable stay. Lots of places to walk our dogs (Very dog Friendly). Will use in future!

Nice park. Confidently located. Excellent walking trail and adjacent visitor center. VERY DISAPPOINTED that the water hook up desperately needed repairs and I got soaked. Fix up your facilities (water faucet) and this would be a great stay.

Bathrooms were great. No one greeted us at 2 in afternoon-no code for bathroom was given we asked a full timer for the code It was convenient to town and highway

We had no reservations and vehicle problems, and the manager came in on a Sunday and was so courteous and kind to rent a spot to us until we could get the truck serviced. Very nice people! Thankful to have had such a nice place to stay.

This KOA certainly met our overnight needs, but maybe fell a little short of what I have come to expect fron KOA campgrounds. Site was not level. Some sort of construction going on near office. Restrooms were older. Generally just needs to be spruce up a bit.

Jill the manager was super helpful once we made contact. I called 3 days in a row and left messages to book an extra night and on 4 th try Jill answered. Evidently new staff did not follow up Restrooms were superficially clean but showers need a clean. No soap at sinks. Site was level and in back but very very close to neighbors, both of whom smoked. Looks like they need more staff to help

after all your wet weather, the area around our camp site was very muddy. It took a lot of cleaning to get our dogs paws clean. such is life. Everything else was good.

People were friendly, but the state of the bathrooms was a disgrace to the KOA name. Floors and shower stalls were very dirty and the accumulation of grime under the shower mat was ridiculous. The worst KOA I've ever stayed at. Should take lessons from Pocatello KOA which was immaculate.

This was just a one night stop on the way to Canada but it was really nice. The grounds are laid out so it's easy to get in/out with nearly all as pull-through. Spot was more than long enough to include our 26ft class c and 12ft tow car. It was quiet, level, and clean. The best part was it was next to a nature walk along a creek which was lovely. We were even surprised to see beavers there in the water, so cool!!We definitely would stay here again, maybe longer so we can visit Butte next time.

Excellent location. Borders a beautiful nature trail that goes on for miles and visitor center Is next door. At night you can see uptown Butte lit up and the historic mining head frames also illuminated. Perfect for traveling between the national parks, but Butte has become a favorite place for us because of the lively arts and culture and history. Well taken care of Park and you can see the pride in the campground and the amenities. I love that there is a cute dog wash for those of us who travel with pets.
