As with most KOA’s they are near the road, so you will always have road noise. We didn’t use any of the amenities, but did get soft serve ice cream in the evening which was delicious .

Location is near to a railway xing so be prepared to be woken up early by trains, the site itself is well maintained and the staff friendly and helpful, thank you :)

It was a good KOA Journey. Right off of the highway, so easy to get to and out of. Check in was quick and easy. It was quiet at night.

The campground has a lot of broken glass in various places. It's noisy and dirty. As we were walking through the campground I tripped on an exposed wire and injured my knee. We will not stay there again.

Not as nice as many KOA’s. It’s more like a parking lot than a relaxing atmosphere.

The campground is in poor condition. None of the sites are spacious or particularly nice. The upgraded "deluxe" patio sites are small and located right next to unkempt sites in which people are obviously living full time. Much of the campground had broken glass scattered everywhere. The landscaping was not maintained. The price is ridiculous for a park that takes no pride in ownership.

The campground is nice and clean. I’m sure it’s great for RVs, but if you’re in a tent, it will be extremely loud all night long due to the freeway right behind it.

The only reason I gave 4 stars is the fact that I requested a shady spot and we were not given a shady spot. I would expect that to have been noted on our reservation and would be honored, as I was told there were shady spots available when I made the reservation. Other than that, we were happy to find the site very quiet even though the Interstate was very close.

Wonderful, clean bathrooms and hot showers, nice grounds, some shade, dog area, choice of hookups, level pull-through sites for large rigs. This is a nice KOA and we recommend it. If you want a fancy, expensive one with BBQ dinners or ice cream socials or entertainment, this is not one of those. The staff is friendly and you'll have all you need here. They honor the KOA discount.

I really loved the little cabin I stayed in !! I was surprised to have a refridgerater, BBQ grill on the porch, porch swing etc. Everyone working there were very nice and helpfull with anything I needed. I really enjoyed my stay

We were in Butte for a couple nights towing the 5ver and this KOA was in a great location for our stop. Campground was decent, bring your sewer hose support as the sewer connection is slightly above ground. Pizza from the office/store was surprisingly pretty decent. Toddler loved the pool and playground. Patio had settled but was still useable. As far as KOA's go this was pretty decent.

Pool was not available for use. I was told by one emplyee that it was closed due to weather(it was overcast out). I later found out from another employee that the pool was shut down cause the water filteration(pump) was not working for the last 3 days. Fair enough, things happen however, guests should never be told a lie. Second, it should be told to the guests that the pool is closed(on the site)

I stayed two days. Admittedly, the campsite is brightly lit (a problem in my translucent tent) and the noise from I-90 is regrettable. But I have to say that this is outweighed substantially by the hosts generous regards for CDT hikers, the availability of showers and laundry on-site, and proximity to a full service grocery store. The cabins are a wonderful respite from difficult weather.

Camp sites are very nice clean space between each site. The store and laundry are nice. The dog pen up front is very tiny not very accommodating the new pen being built will be nice when it's done.

When you raised your rates so much that they rival a motel rate, you should be able to provide WiFi that works. I was never able to sign on, let alone navigate. If you're going to charge first class rates you should provide first class accommodations.

There's much to do here especially as a Journey KOA. A pool, the town's bike path, a giant chess game, and a trolly museum and rides next door! The manager was helpful when my trailer broke down and needed repair. Friendly staff. The only challenge was bathrooms that had showers in the same room. Hard to wait to get into a bathroom for a morning "potty" because other campers were showering.

Nice place. Nice people. Bathrooms were good. Shower faucets temp were opposite hot/cold markings. Eg cold was hot. Common for an amateur plumber to install backward.. easy to fix. . If they care.

We had been camping for two weeks at campsites without showers. We needed a place to stay for one night that had showers. Check in was seamless. And the showers were the best I've ever seen. Would definitely recommend!

They were accommodating with us when we had a tire issue, and they got us to a safe level place for the tire service to fix the issue. Fantastic paved walkway for a morning or evening stroll.

While traveling across Montana, we decided to try and make it to Butte for the night. I called to see if we could make arrangements as we were going to arrive in Butte. I had to leave a message but was called back when they were available. We made it to check in prior to 9pm. They were very friendly at check in and even showed us to our site. We would stay again when traveling through Butte!

This was just a one night stop on the way to Canada but it was really nice. The grounds are laid out so it's easy to get in/out with nearly all as pull-through. Spot was more than long enough to include our 26ft class c and 12ft tow car. It was quiet, level, and clean. The best part was it was next to a nature walk along a creek which was lovely. We were even surprised to see beavers there in the water, so cool!!We definitely would stay here again, maybe longer so we can visit Butte next time.
