Easy access from the highway. Easy in and out of our site. The campground is right beside the visitor center so we could walk over and get information and catch the trolley tour. We didn’t use any of the amenities. Gravel interior roads and mostly gravel sites.

We had a great stay! The only downside was the WiFi. Where our camper sat we couldn’t wait not use it even my phone could not pick up the signal.

Night monitor very courteous and helpful along with being considerate and helpful. Property manager very understanding, helpful and polite.

For a Journey KOA the campground is very good. Bathrooms are modern and clean and there are other updates are going on. Front desk was helpful.

No water, tight spots, the host showers were fine but when we went on line to the city site they said no bathing, no laundry, obviously no drinking of the water. The price was very high and for staying there they gave us 4 small waters we went to Walmart to get water. Won't stay here again.

The staff is nice and friendly. Grounds are well kept. We like it here and come back occasionally. Word of caution: My bathroom ran out of toilet paper at 8:15 in the morning, which is a no-no!

I couldn't recommend them because we checked in, hooked everything up, then learned later that Butte was on a "do not drink" water emergency. MANAGEMENT KNEW AT CHECK-IN, BUT DIDN'T TELL US! WE FOUND OUT AT THE GROCERY STORE. We had to leave IN MORNING. Had to throw out hose and filter, and move to another town and spend time flushing out all our water lines. Management refused to refund money.

Overall it was a great stay. Easy to find, nice pool, clean, and friendly staff. However the grassy area next to our RV was not level and the picnic table was tippy and most of the grass was gone, needs attention. No big deal enjoyed our stay.

Clean camp, close to Visitors Center. Friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed the pool although cooler than I like it. A nice playground for the kids too. We took the Butte Trolley Tour and learned a lot about the town. A very nice experience overall.

Bathrooms very nice. Hot and cold water on shower were reversed. Site level. Nice walking trails. Visitor center within walking distance was great as was trolley tour. Laundry good.

Loved the bathroom/showers! They were amazing! One thing that gets me is the tents are closer to the freeway than the rvs. We heard lots of traffic from the freeway. But other than that, I loved it!

As with most KOA’s they are near the road, so you will always have road noise. We didn’t use any of the amenities, but did get soft serve ice cream in the evening which was delicious .

Location is near to a railway xing so be prepared to be woken up early by trains, the site itself is well maintained and the staff friendly and helpful, thank you :)

It was a good KOA Journey. Right off of the highway, so easy to get to and out of. Check in was quick and easy. It was quiet at night.

The campground has a lot of broken glass in various places. It's noisy and dirty. As we were walking through the campground I tripped on an exposed wire and injured my knee. We will not stay there again.

Not as nice as many KOA’s. It’s more like a parking lot than a relaxing atmosphere.

The campground is in poor condition. None of the sites are spacious or particularly nice. The upgraded "deluxe" patio sites are small and located right next to unkempt sites in which people are obviously living full time. Much of the campground had broken glass scattered everywhere. The landscaping was not maintained. The price is ridiculous for a park that takes no pride in ownership.

The campground is nice and clean. I’m sure it’s great for RVs, but if you’re in a tent, it will be extremely loud all night long due to the freeway right behind it.

This was just a one night stop on the way to Canada but it was really nice. The grounds are laid out so it's easy to get in/out with nearly all as pull-through. Spot was more than long enough to include our 26ft class c and 12ft tow car. It was quiet, level, and clean. The best part was it was next to a nature walk along a creek which was lovely. We were even surprised to see beavers there in the water, so cool!!We definitely would stay here again, maybe longer so we can visit Butte next time.

Excellent location. Borders a beautiful nature trail that goes on for miles and visitor center Is next door. At night you can see uptown Butte lit up and the historic mining head frames also illuminated. Perfect for traveling between the national parks, but Butte has become a favorite place for us because of the lively arts and culture and history. Well taken care of Park and you can see the pride in the campground and the amenities. I love that there is a cute dog wash for those of us who travel with pets.
