This koa has a lot of full time people living there. They gave us a spot right in the middle of the full timers. They did have other open camp sites.

What a great KOA. Super organized, super clean; I would definitely stay there again and I would recommend any other traveler to stay there as well (plus right around the corner is a great little place about the history of the town and where to catch the trolley tour of historic aspects of Butte. And the person behind the desk helped me out with some questions I had - very helpful very friendly.

very nice stay. I was initially concerned that our site was not level, but it ended up ok. This would have been terribly frustrating where to relocate especially since we had NO advance notice that the office would be closed BEFORE we got there at approximately 5:35. I would highly suggest that EVERY reservation includes information from the office personnel what time you're closing. ....

Great staff loved the FLOWERS the store the helpful and pleasant attitudes . I’m a TENT CAMPER and I was not pleased with my site it was barren and exposed and very small. Kyle upgraded me to my satisfaction and I was impressed by that. Butte is more of a stopping off place not a destination. GREAT showers some of the best!

1- mainly clean and taken care of. 2- very nice restrooms and showers but not enough of them and not conveniently located to many sites. 3- had a brand new 12” crescent wrench on table next to my bbq and propane tank. Someone stole it in broad daylight when we were in our trailer. 4- no grass in front of trailer entry area so difficult to keep from tracking into the trailer. 5- watering

staff was great and very helpful with town restaurants and attractions questions. quiet, clean campsites, did not use the facilities except for the large dog park. location was an easy on off the expressway near the visitor's center with a great view of the city and our lady of the rockies.

Graveled space with dirt/sparse grass area which included picnic table. Easy drive through and access to sewer/water/septic. Close to highway for convenience; some highway noise but no grade changes so no jake brake noise. Most spaces are oriented east-west so can expect sun all day. Pet walking area and K9 enclosure have grass.

Overall our stay was fine. Just needed an overnight on a 20 hour trip to rest. Sewer gas smell in the bathrooms and marijuana smoke from neighbors were drawbacks of our stay. We arrived at 6:57 and the main office was closed early by a few minutes…not a huge thing but definitely could have been more welcoming.

Butte KOA is fine, nothing wrong with it. I was just disappointed the sites were small and very close together. There was no grass at the sites only sandy dirt and weeds.

Wash house was great and clean. Information overload at the check in/out board. Cabin was good and clean, lighting could be better. Little pricey but it seems all of Montana is. Overall great stay and would recommend to others

We were greeted by the most friendly and helpful couple, they were so warm and welcoming! Everything was beautiful and clean. The location was very convenient for us as we were attending a football game at the college. There was a coffee shop and Safeway right around the corner! There were lots of ways to easily pull in and pull out of the park. There were beautiful walking trails creeks

Due to repairs on motorhome our itinerary changed and a stop in Butte was necessary. We stay at KOAs all over the country. This KOA had no water pressure, potholes in their gravel and sand roads, and the price for a pull thru was $95.00. Bathrooms were clean.

Pretty rough sites. I remember when KOA used to be the place to look for. In the last 10 or so years, it seems that there is no requirement to become a koa campground. Used to be all koa's where awesome.

Nice large site with shade and grass. Not all sites have shade and grass. Lots of areas to walk the dogs. Clean laundry room and nice pool.

Easy on and off, next to the visitors center which is a nice visit. People are great! We were a group of 3 Bus’s the sites we were on appeared to have had a cable problem. There were lots of spots dug up with exposed cables. Otherwise good stop.

This was our second visit to KOA Butte and we enjoyed it as we did last time. Making a reservation was easy, checkin was a breeze. The park itself is great, laid out well, with comfortable space between the spaces, though an adjoining City property created some concern for safety when outside the camp property.

We used this site as home base for our touring adventures in and around town. Convenient to highway and freeway connections while not right in them. Borders tourist Welcome Center!

Grass ar or site was about 8" tall, so that I got my feet tangled in it every time I went to get in the truck. Lots of pooled muddy water. Would give it another try, if we could get another site. Showers were nice. Good water pressure. Friendly staff.

The campground was too close to the road. Not a very nice location. The staff were excellent. The park was very clean.

A very basic KOA located near downtown. Great place to explore Butte, but be prepared for interstate traffic noise. Open sites with sparse tree coverage. A pool for the kids is a nice touch. This is an over nighter or max one day stop to explore Butte.

cabin 6 needs a little caulking you can see sunshine thru some wall places The people working there are great!!! Campsite was clean…bathrooms very nice & clean. The trail that runs right by the campground was great for walking my dog. It was fun staying here. Thanks

This was just a one night stop on the way to Canada but it was really nice. The grounds are laid out so it's easy to get in/out with nearly all as pull-through. Spot was more than long enough to include our 26ft class c and 12ft tow car. It was quiet, level, and clean. The best part was it was next to a nature walk along a creek which was lovely. We were even surprised to see beavers there in the water, so cool!!We definitely would stay here again, maybe longer so we can visit Butte next time.

Excellent location. Borders a beautiful nature trail that goes on for miles and visitor center Is next door. At night you can see uptown Butte lit up and the historic mining head frames also illuminated. Perfect for traveling between the national parks, but Butte has become a favorite place for us because of the lively arts and culture and history. Well taken care of Park and you can see the pride in the campground and the amenities. I love that there is a cute dog wash for those of us who travel with pets.
