Come celebrate Independence Day and week-end with us. We will have a good old fashioned 4th of July birthday celebration with FREE cake and ice cream at the shelter house! There's fun for the whole family with a parade, ball games and the KOA Amazing Race. Kids dress up or decorate your bikes for our parade. Pets can join in on the parade fun as well. Prizes will be awarded for the most patriotic costume, pet, campsite/cabin. Don't forget to sign-up at check-in for these fun and FREE events!

Summer is coming to an end, but the fun continues at Butler/Mohican KOA as we present our 4th Annual Labor Day Care Camps Carnival featuring game booths with prizes, Cotton Candy, balloons, and the famous; "Dunk Tank"! Kids, come on down and try your luck while your parents enjoy some delicious summer treats! Purchase your tickets on-site for a nominal fee and help out the KOA Care Camps, a camp for children with cancer.
Step back in time and experience the simpler life of a bygone era. Located on scenic State Rt 97, just around the bend from the Butler/Mohican KOA, the Prairie Peddler Festival welcomes the whole family for 2 weekends of fun and entertainment. Field picker's are invited to entertain the campers so pack up those instruments and come on down to the shelter house we'd love to have you. Crafter's peddle your own wares at the campground for a craft show on site all week-end long during both Prairie Peddler events.
Malabar Farm's Spring Plowing Days event features the beautiful and majestic draft animals which once were the mainstay of farming in early Ohio. The setting for this event is the rich rolling countryside of Pleasant Valley where agriculture has played an important role since the 1820's. www.malabarfarm.org
The North Central Ohio Safe Boating and Fishing Festival will be held Saturday, June 11 from 12:00 pm to 5:30 pm at Pleasant Hill Lake Park. Free admission to the park with free boat rides, kayaks, sailboats, fishing for kids, boat show, safety displays and door prices. The first 100 children under 12 will get a free lifejacket (PFD)

The SVRA returns to Mid-Ohio for its 33rd straight appearance. Gentlemen drivers racing classic, history-filled cars on a classic, history-filled race track is as beautiful and timeless as motorsports can get. If the cars are moving too fast for you to appreciate, you can a better look at them in the open paddocks or view some non-racers in a pair of car shows this weekend. One manufacturer with a longer history than vintage cars at Mid-Ohio is Mini. 2014 marks the 30th time Mid-Ohio has hosted an Indy car race, and the top open wheel series has been a staple of our schedule for decades. With legendary past winners including Andretti, Castroneves, Fittipaldi, Rahal, Unser and Franchitti, it's stocked with history and tradition. Chip Ganassi has won five straight as a team owner and nine overall so the rest of the paddock will once again try to figure out his magic in effort to capture the race win. Our small town hosts a big fair that is truly an old-fashioned, family-oriented event in downtown Loudonville, Ohio. Includes five days of free admission, free entertainment, free exhibits, free livestock shows and auctions, free power pulls, rides, wide variety of food and much, much more. Begins each day at 12 noon and until 10:00 p.m. each night. Parts of State routes 3 and 60 are closed during the event.
