The store was closed when we came in but the campground was very nice, we used the pool and that was great! The campers were very nice. Lots of beautiful birds!!

Campground is fine, but in the worst location ever. Located right next to I-40 near a hill, truck noise continued all night long. We left after 1st night, forfeiting our 2nd night’s payment.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

HAD THIS CAMPER CAME INTO THE OFFICE AND TOLD ME HE WAS LEAVING, HE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN HIS SECOND NIGHT REFUNDED,AS IT WAS, I LEFT THE SITE OPEN NOT KNOWING IF HE WAS COMING BACK AND JUST WENT OUT FOR THE DAY

Easy access off of I-40. Friendly check in. Sites noisy from I40 truck traffic, but to be expected. Enjoyed stay.

Excellent staff presence through the campground ensuring a pleasant stay. Grounds were exceptional and facilities were excellent. One of the top KOA campgrounds we have visited.

Good, friendly but the playground sand was littered with cigarette butts and trash. Doesn’t seem high busy enough to not clean areas frequented by customers.

It was a very convient place, off the highway and close to Loretta Lynn's, which was the purpose of our visit. The bathrooms/showers were clean. And we checked in after hours and their night box was clear and easy to figure out.

Everyone at this campground is very friendly. Very well kept up. Easy to find, right off the interstate and up a side road. The pool is very nice, the kids loved it. Bathhouse very clean and kept up. The kids loved that you had to have a code to get into bathroom/showers and no one could get in until your done.

Space number 1 was insane. We were always on a slope. Park was ok except the freeway noise.

A nice clean park but the spaces are VERY unlevel. We used every block we had and our trailer, a 31’ 2021 Winnebago travel trailer was still unlevel.

A very quaint and quiet campground. A perfect stop right off I40 on our trek out west.

The park is a nice little park. The sites are level, however the approaches and departures to the sites are somewhat steep. The facilities are newer. The only real complaint I have is the presence of poison ivy along the sides of the roads in the park. There were a lot of kids walking through the park after dark and it's just a matter of time before they get poison ivy.

Unlevel sites, too much clorine in the pool, playground was weedy and overgrown, noise from the interstate. Dismal dog park. They only got a one because the bathroom was clean. It is in the middle of no where and our dog was attacked by a bulldog who was not on a leash! Steer clear.

Everyone that worked there were so kind and nice. Very pleasant experience staying there for one night, we ended up staying for another! Restrooms/showers were spotless! The showers were wonderful! We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future!

We stayed one night May 31, 2023. We arrived after 5:00, but our reservation and where to park was there at late check in. The park has a good location. We walked to The Log Cabin Restaurant and had a delicious dinner. The only noticeable detraction was that there was noise from I-40. But, the park is beautiful, with tall trees, so that compensated for the noise.

Only got to stay one night but everyone was very friendly and happy to accommodate any request we had, will definitely stay there again when we are traveling through.

Our site for the overnight stay was not very good compared to most of the KOA Journey campgrounds that we stay in. We only stay at KOA’s, Granted this campground just came off of the memorial weekend traffic, but our site was worn out. Ground to park RV was not level. Tree stumps on both sides. Not weedeated around stumps. I tripped twice on roots. Cable not working. Sad stay!!

Friendly staff, clean campsite,nice pool and showers. Really liked the cement site parking , Blackstone grill, plus the table & chairs. Not every site has this but was really a great stay.

The laundry facility is filthy. The floor didn't look like it had ever been mopped, only swept. There are spider webs all around the window, light fixture, and corners. Ew!

Nice tree-lined park with pull-though and back in sites. Most sites are gravel, but a couple nice, fully paved pull through sites are available. Staff is friendly and will escort you to your site (must be there prior to 5:00 PM. for escort). The laundry room was very clean. The only negative is that it is very close to I-40, so traffic noise is high.

We stay here whenever we are passing through to visit family in GA. The bathrooms are clean, the owners are wonderful and it's close to The Log Cabin Restaurant where we eat every time we are here. Easy pull in and pull out. Yes it can be noisy next to the highway. Conveniently located.
