Camping cabin was well kept and spotless. The staff there were very nice and accommodating when I needed to change my reservation date. Pool was beautiful.

The paw pen and premium areas are nice, although one of the paw pen areas had gravel and no grass. The grass was high around the playground and pool area, and there were a lot of permanent campers on site. The noise from the interstate is very loud. This KOA is fine if you need to stop in overnight, but wouldn’t recommend for longer than that.

Campground was nice. Easy to get to from highway and we could easily find our check in paperwork. Bathrooms were clean. We would camp here again.

Outstanding service and an unbeatable location! The staff completely saved the day by letting us have a late checkout when we needed an emergency fifth-wheel repair. On top of that, they connected us with Brad from RVRX, who came out on a Sunday and had us road-ready the same day. This has been one of the best travel experiences we've had. Five stars all the way!

The staff is very nice, the pool area is beautiful and the bathrooms are clean and have plenty of shower pressure and hot water. The site was ok for an overnight, but the highway noise is rather prevalent. Gas and restaurants available at the exit is a plus.

The only facilities we were able to use were the bathroom/showers, which were clean, because the office/store closes at 5p. We were unable to buy ice or other supplies we were hoping to get since we didn’t get off the road till 530p and we left next morning before they opened at 9a.

Nice concrete site with brick/stone fireplace and black stone grill provided. It was dirt/gravel drive in. No food on site but walking distance to restaurants. Nice stay for couple days rest and relaxation or for overnight to next stop.

Only reason for not a 5 star stay was the traffic noise from I-40, but the campground was great. The owners lead us to our site and helped us back in. Located just out of town. Easy access in and out of park

Nice spot to spend the night. Staff were very nice. Park was well maintained. Be aware of some low hanging limbs on the road into the park. Also, quite a bit of highway noise due to proximity to the highway.

Lovely park. Easy on and off hwy. That being said, you do hear the occasional jake brake. Restrooms/showers were very nice. Hot water and good pressure. The staff was very nice. Helpful. Pool looked inviting but I wasn't able to use bc our stay was short. All in all, would definitely stay here again

It seemed unkept like the gravel pads and roads had washed away and it was very muddy. Dog park hadn’t been cut and was all weeds. Didn’t use the facilities so can’t comment. Play ground was full of weeds as well. Spots for I guess overnight stays didn’t have fire pits. Payed a lot just to park for the night.

Although the campground is clean and well kept kept it does show signs of age. The water had a very foul smell.

The campground is clean and conveniently located close to I40. Staff is professional and friendly.

Campground overall was ok. Not enough bathhouses for the amount of campers. Some sites have services in the wrong side of the camper making it difficult if you don’t have enough cord or hose. Good for the night.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are a small campground with 45 sites, we have 5 full showers,toilet/sink in the bathrooms, one of them is an ADA bathroom. Most RVs have their own bathrooms.

We are at the KOA at Hurricane mills off exit 143 on 40 west it is really nice, nice size camp sites water, grills, it has a swimming pool

This is a KOA campground. The sites were well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and in good condition.
