It was good. We especially liked Penny and Holly. They were very kind and helpful. We would recommend that they put a blind on the bathroom window.

The campground is very convenient off the I-40, but it’s also basically right on the I-40. Some of the RV spots might have had a little sound blockage where the noise wouldn’t be too bad, but the cabins had no barrier between them and the traffic, so not peaceful.My cabin was dusty, as was the porch area, which made it feel a little dirty. The cabin was very nice and clean and the late check in was a breeze. The highway noise was so close and loud, however, that it overshadowed everything good.

Good value for the price. It rained the entire time we were there, so we were thankful for the cabin. The unisex bathrooms were dirty, somewhat due to the rain but they also smelled. Someone smoked either in them or as they walked in. My kids wouldn’t even shower in them. I also couldnt find water in the dark and the outside sink was off at the bathhouse. Maybe indicate on map for after hours?

The staff is friendly and helpful. The cabin has only electric and a small space heater that worked sufficiently for the temperature.

We arrived about 2 am, from a long drive. We had time to sleep and take showers before hitting the road. The office was very understanding and we appreciate them leaving our information for us to pick up after hours. We loved that it was so close to the interstate.

The first time I was there one of the bathroom door locks did not work. When I returned the next week the lock was still not working and someone had messed up the other bath. I was unable to shower because of no closing or locking door.

Not much on the amenities. One of the two bathroom doors was broken the night I stayed there. I'll be back on the 18th, or may see if I can change to the 19th, but hope bathroom door is fixed by then.

Stayed in cabin. Yes, close to highway. Yes, wear earplugs. Also brought fan which helped. Close to two restrooms. Had to wait 3 out of 5 nights for shower. However, 3 restrooms/showers at main building. Pool was nice and relaxing. Store had very basics. Coffee available at store, no creamer and only a few sugar packets. Walking distance to Log Cabin restaurant, McDonald's, Arby's.

Our stay was great. Our only complaint was that someone smoked in one of the bathrooms and I found it unusable even though it was posted no smoking. The cabin was clean and comfortable.

When we got to our cabin, there was no power! Several messages to the host, and the power was restored. The cabin mustn't have been checked after the last guests left since we had the power issue and there was something sticky on the table near the door and on the floor. On the positive side, the bed is comfy, the restrooms are convenient and clean, and the I-40 noise is not audible in the cabin.

I think the staff is doing the best they can, given the space they have. But said space is right off the interstate, and the entire campground roars with the sound of traffic and semis passing through day and night. We could hear it inside our cabin with the AC on. We are usually tent campers, and I would not under any circumstance camp in a tent here. Pool was clean. Bathrooms were ok.

Sorry for the bad review but I have to be honest. It’s obvious the campground needs some maintenance. The highway was very close and was very noisy in the cabin and the bathrooms need to better maintained for cleanliness and were smelly. Possibly a floor mat so you don’t step out of the shower next to a toilet. The rooms were cool (temperature).

A very nice KOA, although the traffic noise was a little much at times. The Deluxe Cabin was well worth the whole experience, would definitely recommend a blackstone griddle for cooking, the grill was nice to have to use when we 1st arrived. Definitely would recommend a stay at Buffalo / I-40 / Exit 143 KOA.

We stay here whenever we are passing through to visit family in GA. The bathrooms are clean, the owners are wonderful and it's close to The Log Cabin Restaurant where we eat every time we are here. Easy pull in and pull out. Yes it can be noisy next to the highway. Conveniently located.

Very convenient location off the interstate. Small but comfortable. Great place to stop and get a couple days rest on a long run. Very clean bathrooms n laundry room. Will definitely be a repeat Customer
