We really liked the campgrounds, unfortunately it’s right next to the I-40 interstate, the noise level was so high you couldn’t enjoy any time outside

Staff was great but road noise was excessive.

MANY JOURNEY CAMPGROUNDS ARE LOCATED CLOSE TO A HIGHWAY,AN AIRPORT, OR A RAILROAD TRACK. PLEASE RATE THOSE CAMPGROUNDS ON THE CAMPGROUND NOT THE NOISE BECAUSE THAT IS SOMETHING THAT CANT BE HELPED.

Unlevel site. No lights by RR doors to be able to see RR code number order. Store did not offer am coffee b fore pullout. Able to finally see RR number at 7:45. Too late for shower.

Campground manager was very helpful. There was an electrical issue with our site and he fixed it.

We stayed on a RV site. The site was pretty level and shady. The campground owners are superb and take care of the campground

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We’ve stayed at many KOA’s… But this KOA was too close to the interstate and very noisy all night long… The sites are too close together. The exit was very uneven and we were unable to ride over with our motorhome.… So we needed to go out through the entrance… Sorry to give this kind of a rating but the truth is the truth.

Nice place, the dog kennel at our site was a nice touch for pet owners. The only thing that needs attention is the driveway, need to fix the washout area. Some of the areas were quite deep.

Top notch staff. Grounds are well maintained. Easy access off and on to Interstate 40. We have a reservation in place to stay with them again.

This review specifically pertains to tent camping. I didn't even attempt to camp out there. I saw where the tent locations were (about 120 feet away from I-40) and left. The tent location should be up on the hill farther away from the highway for obvious 'noise' reasons.

The facility was nice. But it is right next to I-40 so the road noise is constant. I was in a back in site but it was a little shorter than expected. The Bath house was nice and the nearby creek was nice. Gravel driveway was washed out in a few places and some incline up to the pull through sites.

Super clean bathrooms and camping areas. The staff let us upgrade from tent to cabin and were really helpful in the transition.

Convenient overnight stay about a mile from i40 exit 143. Nice hillside campground with level sites. Easy in and out. Can hear highway noise but that’s the way highway side RV parks are. Would stay again. Staff we spoke with were friendly and helpful.

The shower house is really clean and doesn't have any air freshener in it and is not moldy and just great hot water. Nice campground easy to get off and on from the freeway. Yes there is freeway noise but you can put ear plugs in. The staff did a great job helping me on a short notice to get a spot.

Great place to stop off I40. 6 miles to Loretta Lynn’s Ranch and museum. Staff was very friendly!

We are at the KOA at Hurricane mills off exit 143 on 40 west it is really nice, nice size camp sites water, grills, it has a swimming pool

This is a KOA campground. The sites were well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and in good condition.
