Buffalo is a great place to call home over the winter. Mild winters with only 60 inches of snowfall a year. Current monthly rate for our full hook-up back-in sites for the 2022-2023 season is $750 plus electric (12 cents/kwh). We provide streaming capable WiFi service, a 24/7 bathhouse and laundry for convenience. Come make your home at the base of the Bighorns!
There is ample opportunity to explore the mountains throughout the seasons. Fall is an excellent time to hike and view wildlife. In winter, there are ample trails to hike, cross country ski, snowshoe, snowmobile or ATV. The seasons give a varied perspective on the mountains we love to call home! Given our close proximity to the mountains, streams, lakes and great public hunting areas, we are a wonderful base camp for hunting and fishing all season. Buffalo has lots of social opportunities to engage with the local community including the theater, musical acts, galas for a variety of organizations, trivia night at both the Occidental and Crazy Woman lounge, pickleball tournaments, parades, Christmas Market and more.
