Absolutely wonderful campground to stay at! Everything was clean, worked properly, employees were very kind and helpful. The playground and all the amenities were wonderful! Our 3 yr old LOVED staying here and has been asking to go back ever since! 10/10 will absolutely stay again! Very nice, quiet, family oriented campground.

We were towing a 46-ft fifth wheel and were told all sites were level—unfortunately, ours (#22) was not. The site was down a steep hill with loose gravel, a ditch on one side, and limited width, making it difficult to access. Thankfully, the staff member who assisted us was very patient and helpful. Big rig owners, use caution here. Now I know why we had to sign a waiver!!

We were staying there to go to the festival in Jonesborough. We really liked the improvements (decks etc.) that were made between this trip and the stay a number of years ago. Tony was a great help to us when we needed to hook up when we came in. Thanks.

Stayed two nights in class A motorhome. Site was excellent! KOA is in a small valley with steep sides. Roads are plenty wide enough. Laundry clean. Henry, the fella that escorted us to our site was very nice. Quiet at night. Would stay again.

People are great .sites are scamming and mostly on a side hill making it hard to sit outside etc. All loose gravel makes it hard for elderly to walk. I fell once.

Very tight little rv park. Hill side park with all gravel sites. We stayed one night while traveling. But it seemed like it was safe little park. Just wouldn’t choose again. Like the people beside us said “ it being a KOA we didn’t expect this “. Live and learn

Serenely quiet. Extremely personable and helpful staff. The bathroom, especially the shower, is cramped. The gravel roads, combined with relatively steep slopes made handling my motorcycle a challenge. Convenient propane tank refilling service.

The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. They made some nice upgrades since we visited last year. The campground is very clean. Our favorite stop along the way south. Love the ribs and pulled chicken. Food is the best.

stayed a few days for a local event in Johnson City, somewhat convenient to Virginia Creeper bike/walk trail, stores are within 10 miles, as said in other reviews, some spots are not as level as one would like. my 30 ft motorhome needed two 2x6 boards on each front levelers to not over extend when leveling. Its a great place for exercise and facilities were in good shape.

We were only there for the night, but were very comfortable. Bath house was clean and plenty of places to walk the dogs. Very quiet.

Well kept grounds, friiendly staff, all the usual KOA amenities. Always pricey but if you want what they offer a good place to stop. A bit of a narrow road into them with ian especially challenging corner if oncoming traffic, especially when leaving because of a ditch right on the white line. But many large coaches and 5th wheels made it so just go slow

Everyone was very nice and helpful. Campground was clean and though small, there was a lot to do. Full hookups including cable. Very close to I81.

Sheila, the staff member who checked us in, was wonderful. The gentleman who escorted us to our side was knowledgeable and very friendly. The site was level, and the overall appearance of the campground was very nice. The price was also fair. The only warning I would give is the entrance into the park has steep hills and and sharp curves, so beware. Totally doable, just be cautious.

Road coming in very narrow and dangerous. Large ditch before vehicle would contact guardrail. New wood timbers added since our visit in April 2025, making it difficult for tank drain hoses to discharge. State Park nearby looks like a good alterative at <1/2 than half $$$.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Roads in were narrow and park is very hilly. Larger rigs may find it hard to navigate.

A little disappointed with the campground. Sites are extremely close and we had a hard time with a 40ft fifth wheel. Would not recommend for a large rig unless booking a pull through site. Very clean bathrooms and very nice people. Not sure I would want to spend a vacation here.

Friendly staff, but the sites are a nightmare. My front wheel was six inches off the ground, and when I asked for a level spot, I was told, “You are in the Smoky Mountains.” I’ve stayed at campgrounds with pit toilets high on Mt. Whitney that were more level. I wasted both points and money booking here twice — never again.

The customer service is EXCEPTIONAL!! The owner is so kinda and helpful the staff were so friendly and went above and beyond, the campsites were so clean, as well as the bathrooms and the views were incredible. I genuinely can't say enough great things about this place!!! BEST KOA!

We loved our time at this campground. Had no idea it was Bristol racing week. The staff is super friendly! We were escorted to our site which was too small for our fifth wheel. The escort called the front desk asking for a change. It was given immediately. We were helped backing up, which was greatly appreciated. My family rented a cabin which was very clean and were surprised with 2 3d printed animals for the kids which was beautiful!!! We had food delivered to our campsite that was wonderful!!! Again, staff was amazing!!! The pool was refreshing. They had water toys for the kids! Great experience. I would come here again! Oh, they have donkeys on the property that loved our treats of apples and carrots and we saw a lot of deer on the property as well at sunset. Thank you for a great time!!
