Overnight stop on way home. Site was difficult to get into, on a slope and at a turn in the campground road. Restrooms were nice.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff are super friendly and really go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy. The rv space are perfectly spaced. I loved the laundry facility. Very clean. Also enjoyed the use of the dog bathing sink. Perfect! Oh we enjoyed those free range roaming chickens too. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back for sure.

I didn't like being asked to sign a waiver if corporate wants that put it into the app contract but don't throw that at me at the time of check-in that is not fair. That pissed me off.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I apologize that were upset about our wavier policy. We require all our guest to sign it upon check in. It is so we can provide a safe and happy camping experience to all of our guests by having everyone agree to safe camping policies. Thank you so much for being a guest with us.

Very nice. I had a little trouble locating my campsite (numbers were not highly visible), but once I found it, I had a lovely stay. The bathhouse was wonderful!

The 50 amp pedestal only able to provide 30 amp; failed several times when trying to use even only one AC unit and other electronics simultaneously. Could seriously damage RV electronics. Our site was also unlevel; we had to put spacers under the left tires to even it out. At the patio price, this is very disappointing. Not big rig friendly. Staff here, however, are wonderful folks.

We were assigned site 38 - it was the worst KOA site we have ever had. The slope from the access road to the site was very steep front to back as well as side to side and it was also very shallow. It's also not exactly a full hookup as booked because the waste pipe was uphill from the back of the site. It made our one-night stopover during a long 2-day trip very difficult.

Drive through spaces are not level. Other than that the RV park is really nice. The people working here are great.

Beautiful campground! Our sites were nice, but a bit on the hilly side when trying to sit outdoors. Very clean throughout the place, nice area for kids and dogs. Customer service was exceptional! The only tiny glitch was the tv reception. Not a big deal, but our picture was not always clear and froze at times. But, overall, those are little things and would not prevent us from returning. �

Not big rig friendly. Sites far from level, watched three guys work for a day and a half on a premium site next to ours and the next day a fifth wheel came in and there was three feet difference front to back to level up.

We had a great stay! The staff was awesome and accommodating. The site hook ups were a little annoying; the location in the site and the height of the sewer made it hard to drain my system. Overall, we had an excellent time.

We loved it! The cabin was cozy and spotless. The staff was super friendly and helpful, they couldn't have been better. It was peaceful and quiet at night. They have a jumping pillow, pool, playground and activities for the kids. We can't wait to go back, my granddaughter wants to live there!

Chose this KOA while in town for a baseball tournament. Very clean and the staff were amazing. Online reviews about unlevel sites are exaggerated. The short back in sites do need some leveling. One of the quietest KOAs we have stayed at even on a holiday weekend. Very disappointed to be charged $9/day for our child. KOA caters to families. The daily rate should be for a family, not a couple!

Bristol KOA is a smaller KOA but mighty in amenities, social activities, and food options from their Cafe. I rented a deluxe cabin and it was perfect. Very clean inside and out. This campground is very tidy and well maintained. I will be back!

Just the slightest bit of grading in the sites and they could be leveled. As they are, they are crowned in the middle and falling off towards the low end. I was able to make it work.

Never had to leave our vehicle to check in, followed golf cart to our sit. Beautifully landscaped, ice cream on the porch, lovely playgrounds, dog parks, access to Appalachian Trail. Spacious sites.

All was excellent. The only suggestion I have is to turn the air conditioner on prior to guests arrival because was very hot in there and took a while to finally cool down so it was comfortable. Other than that all was perfect!

The roads to get to your spot are far too steep and if you have a 45’ fifth wheel it could cause serious damage by pinching at your hitch. The roads are gravel and my rig is a toy hauler and very heavy and was sliding and peeling out in four wheel drive in the gravel. We did have damage to our truck because of the incline of the road to space. We ended up having to back out of our space.

Sites are very hilly & narrow. Steep stairs to check in at office makes it quite difficult for older folks to go there! Food is quite good & it's nice that they have site delivery after a long drive!

I had been staying there for close to a couple weeks. I came home one day and my cooler in my chairs were missing. So I went to the office to let them know. They said well if I see them on the ground, they would help me get them back. So I did find them. The staff was fantastic so the review has nothing to do with them. The roads to get to your spot are far to steep and if you have a travel trailer or fifth wheel it could cause serious damage by pinching at your hitch. The roads are gravel and my rig is heavy and was sliding in the gravel. the water, sewer and electric are all on opposite sides of your rig and far away requiring extensions

Very nice KOA. Offers extensive food menu. Clean bathrooms/showers. Fun Halloween decorations! Little curvy and narrow drive to campground but close to 81.
