Too short but it was a great Bday and Mother’s Day weekend celebration. I will definitely go back and do more of the ranch active for the kiddos. Beautiful family oriented campground. Close enough to the west coast beaches Golf Ana Maria Island and Sarasota beaches.

My daughters and I had a wonderful time staying at the Bradenton KOA. The campground was very well maintained, the staff was pleasant and helpful . There was always someone driving around doing something. The restrooms were very well maintained , roomy and clean. I love that they keep the tent sites separate from RV sights so tent are not sitting on vehicle chemicals.

This campground was my first time in a KOA campground, and one of my first times in ANY drive-to campground. The people at the front desk explained everything to me in a clear fashion. And I am now a KOA member! I stayed at Hunsader 6 nights over two intervals. Great experience! The "activity" of strawberry picking at the adjacent farm was icing on the cake!

Very underwhelmed with the facilities and the few contacts we had this year with Hunsader personnel. Considering campfires were banned, I’d have thought they would have tried extra hard to save campers from insects. As it was, the skeeters were rampant. I found a couple of employees to be testy and insulting. The shower rooms were often flooded due to bad drainage and overflow conditions.

If it wasn't for soccer we would have done more they offered. But we do plan on making another trip to just stay at the camp ground.

Horrible experience with this campground. From the inattentive and difficult to contact manager, to the power going out ONLY on our three campsites (one was across the walkway and not physically connected to our other two lots). Nobody answered, so despite paying for electricity, we slept with no heat. The poor kids were freezing!The audacity they had to try and charge me over $100 after we left!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

You popped your breaker with an overloaded power strip using heaters. Our number is clearly marked on our office for emergencies. You were being charged extra for multiple damages, late checkout and extreme mess at your campsite. It’s rare we have to say this but Your group is not welcome back.

This is a great place to stay. Friendly staff and always there to help if needed. I love the text messages they send out to let you know if there’s something going on. Can’t ask for a better place to stay!!

From checking in to checking out the staff is great!! They will work with you if needed and to me that is great customer service.

Seems like the place has gotten ran down over the last few years. The tiny town is in shambles, the train doesn't run and was broken, they put up netting on the fence so you can no longer see the animals from your camp sites. They charge money for the arcade games in the game room when I feel like something like that should be free. The bike trail was also a disaster and in shambles.

Sorry your perception of our campground and farm was not good. The green screen on the animals has always been there to protect them. It was only down after the hurricane. Trees down in bike trail due to hurricane. Waiting for a part for the train. Tiny town?? Hope you noticed all the new additions

We stayed on a tent site with both water and electricity. Restrooms were cleaned everyday! Huge dogs park for our dogs. Everyone was extremely friendly. Will be returning.

Overall a great place to camp for a couple of days. My only complaint was being charged a $10 early check in fee when we were the only tent campers the only ones there the whole weekend. I’m a KOA rewards so would be nice to have that fee waived.

Loved all the animals. We stayed in a tent site across from the ponds and saw all kinds of birds. It was very quiet also. Nice and relaxing

The tent sites have very low voltage electricity, which it does mention when booking, but I didn’t realize how low. Don’t bother going on a cold night because you can’t use a space heater. We had to leave because it got too cold for our little ones. If you trip the system, there’s no one to call after hours. Other than that the farm was fun for kids.

As explained in writing before your arrival, the electric is enough for a phone or small fan. We have an after hour phone number available at the office. Hope you enjoyed the 2nd night you chose to stay with us

Canceled remainder of reservation after two nights of poor sleep due to excessive noise level. Not a good location for tent campers.

Easy check in, very clean and well-maintained grounds, friendly staff. Great experience all around. 1 item to be improved- to the west of the grounds (not in the camping area) was some sort of industrial generator that ran the entire night. Very loud. Im not a like sleeper so didnt ruin my stay but it was not exactly the quiet and peaceful country retreat vibe I expected. It shut off at sunris

The perfect place to stay for the country taste of real Florida us locals miss. Awesome on site amenities and things to do. Perfect location to stay for races at Bradenton Motorsports Park.

The farm was amazing. I loved how the campground was mixed in with the farm. Waking up to bisons was a great memory. Bathrooms were awesome. Only two things that could improve: There are no lights on the last few tent sites, like the rest of the sites. Very dark in corner, #48. Primitive is overpriced. I’ve been all over the county visiting primitive sites and this one is expensive.

It was one of our best camping experiences. The staff was amazing at check-in and very accommodating. Lots to do with super clean bath houses! We will definitely be back!

The lots were nice and level the grounds were very nice. We came during the off-season so we practically had the park to ourselves. The restrooms were clean and the scenery was beautiful. We will be back.

Nice and clean. Great Farm market. Plenty of space between camping spaces. Very close to the Myakka Elephant conservatory. Easy few miles to Sarasota.

Wonderful campground & with lots of space to walk. The bath houses/laundry facilities are clean. It's far enough from the road that traffic noise is minimal. It is possible to hear noise from the nearby racetrack and drag strip but there don't seem to be a lot of events happening there. The adjacent farm store has plenty of produce & staples like milk, eggs, meats, ice cream and baked goods (to name just a few things!) We've stayed there 3 years in a row and hope to go back next year.
