Really like this place!! Accomodating & friendly, easy ckin & out. Clean & well kept. People @ farm stand very nice & very helpful with a sm problem we had. Looking frwd to staying again. 1 suggestion: If many spots are open DON"T put people right next to each other. Many like privacy if possible TY

Bathrooms have not been cleaned and only God knows how long, there is absolutely nothing whatsoever to do there unless you’re a toddler or an adolescent, everything is 20 miles away. There’s only so many times you can walk around the facility. The amount of flies were incredible. Never attempt to walk out of your RV barefoot stepping on the crushed seashells are like walking on glass.

Many untruths here. We did notice you decided to move your site to an upgraded brick patio without asking. Your welcome!

This was our 3rd stay at Hunsader Farms KOA Holiday. We love coming here. They have everything for the camper’s, Rv hook ups, covered wagons and a cabin for glamping. They don’t however have a pool, on hot day’s it would be wonderful. They also have this wonderful Western themed town with a Farmer’s Market, a petting zoo and a nice little store in case you want to buy something fun for you

Our dogs really enjoyed the huge dog park. We plan to visit again!

Very clean and beautiful campground. The bathrooms were very clean and convenient. The site was very clean and very nice shade under the oak trees. Highly recommend to any fellow campers.

Wonderful, quiet campground with a lot of charm and friendly operators

Hot and dusty, No shade on our site. I didn't realize there was no pool.

We really enjoyed our stay at this KOA. The grounds are very well maintained, bathrooms are very clean, and the large dog park is great for those traveling with dogs. The RV spots are nice sized and not cramped together like some campgrounds. The general store and produce stand have everything you could possibly need, at a reasonable price. We will definitely stay here again

This place is awesome.... Truly a 5 star campsite. The petting zoo they have have is pretty cool along with several exotic animals on site. The bathrooms are truly to be proud to come home too after a long day. And the farm store selling local produce and honey is out of this world. A family owned location to be very proud to have visited.

Even though it was very empty with them closing down for the summer, ot is still our favorite spot.

It was great! So much to see and do. Plus having a working farm with so many products to select. Seeing the Easter Egg Cannon and the kids running to get candy for their baskets to a train ride on Saturday. Plus full hookups in drive thru spots.

First time visitor. I did not know what to expect but it’s a fantastic and beautiful expert. The property is so clean and organized. I do wish the eat shack would close a bit later. We loved our stay

Just a short stay while driving...

We chose a pull-thru site and got site #65. Site was very level & clean, but not much shade. Many non-pull-thru sites had shade. Lots of amenities, but everything needs to be refreshed, including the picnic tables, train & game room. Had to go to the camp store to get game parts which was far away. Fun to see zebras & ostriches. Lots of potential. Hopefully, they can do some updating soon.

Third time to stay at Hunsader. It's only 30 minutes from our home but we recently purchased a 2020 RV and Hunsader's KOA has been a convenient place to do some "shake-down" long weekend stays to get familiar with our rig.

At first when we arrive the first day was not too bad we went to the market and went around the lagoon and then the next day that was the Easter Canon candy for the kids but when we went in the petting zoo it cost $12 per person you will think this would be included with the campground and on Sunday nothing was open no pool nothing for the kids and Monday morning we wake up with no water for nobo

Lovely campground.

Super nice staff, clean, quiet park, and excellent bath house! Big rig friendly! Showers had great water pressure, which was a huge bonus, and we loved the produce market on site!

Only stayed over night. The bathrooms were awesome and clean. Wish we could have been able checked out the market and other activities we saw. Will definitely stay here again if we cone back this way. Thank you!!

Very convenient to Bradenton and well maintained.

We were impressed with the additions of the dog park, the wagon circle and fire pit, and the overall layout. We enjoyed our stay last April so much we did it again this year!

Always a nice quiet place to stay. Our dog loves the dog park.

Clean, calm and original. Thanks

Very nice clean park.. Quiet bathrooms were clean and nice . They have a little farm we didn’t explore it but looked like lots of activities. We will defiantly stay again

This place was awesome, would love to bring me grands back for a stay.

Our stay was OUTSTANDING!!!! The grounds were clean, the restrooms were beyond excellent, and the various farm and wild animals were a real treat to behold...bison, zebras, emus. We enjoyed shopping at the store, buying produce, and visiting the antique "museum". We will be back!

We stayed in a 5th wheel for 18 nights while visiting family. Staff members are very friendly. Sites are good size, large dog park, kids playground, and small zoo on property. WiFi is excellent, does degrade some when campground is full. There is minimal traffic noise. This is also a working farm with a great farm store with produce and other goodies. A pool would be a nice addition.

I've stayed here several times. The entire facility is VERY CLEAN and well taken care of. Bathrooms and showers are nice with plenty available. There's several farm animals, a playroom, playground, and a very friendly small pony that my kids enjoy. There's fresh produce on-site available to purchase and it's approximately 10 minutes from several restaurants and grocery stores.

We have stayed here a few times and we love it. Just need to upgrade the picnic tables. And maybe a pool on the campground. Other wise we highly recommend this place.

Nice place to stay, we go mostly for festivals now because the price is high for weekends

Nice quiet campground, clean restrooms and friendly staff. Also has old west building design and vegetables stand.

Love the camp ground

I received a KOA review email while I was still at the park- I gave 3 stars as it has been neglected over the years. I was approached by the owner (Dave) & yelled at in front of friends & family while at dinner & told to leave the campground. I did receive a refund, but a month stay during winter in Florida is hard to find & it was heartless. Don't ask for feedback if you don't actually want it!

Very nice and peaceful campground.

Beautiful patio sites, lovely area. There is a market for fresh produce, meats, and other limited supplies. We had the pork which was excellent. The market is a bit pricey. It would help if the roads were paved since employees and guests go above 5mph which creates a lot of dust. Also, a pool would be a nice addition. Restaurants not readily near by.
Apr 07, 2025
The WiFi was strong and steady! Beautiful bath houses, but the floor outside the shower was always wet. Sites were clean and level with good hookups. We had to use a poorly maintained road to enter/exit the campground on the weekend due to a Flower Festival. The old equipment around the farm made it seem junky and unkept. A group of mini-cycle riders staying near us, bikes were loud late at night.

Hunsaders never disappoints. Especially if you are there during one of their festivals. (Flowers in April, pumpkins in October) Its a very relaxing campground and its one of our top five places to stay. Would recommend, 9/10. (a pool would make it 10/10)

Beautiful Place, Poor Issue Handling Loved the grounds—clean bathrooms, fun for kids, great atmosphere. But the farm silo rental had wasps inside. Management downplayed safety concerns and offered no real solutions. We got a refund for the silo but no compensation for rearranging everyone. Disappointed in the response. We’ll return—but only with campers next time.

Upsetting to read your review after we did our best accommodating your group even after you moved furniture off another site to use for your large crowd. When we talked in person you seemed fine.

Was really looking forward to staying, until we found out when checking in that you cannot have fencing for our pups. It is in their info, guess you cant assume its pet friendly unless you deep dive into their pet policy. Cant expect a dog to be leashed the entire time when they arent regularly. Live and learn, maybe we will experience them another time.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do not allow pet fencing as they are not safe and secure however, We are very pet friendly and have a huge dog park.

It was an amazing experience. We got to ride a train ($3/person) it was great, feels like you go back in time to 17-18 hundreds. Kids got candy and we bought fresh fruit.

What a fun place! Take your kids or grandkids here for lots of activities on site. Glamping, silo camping, Conestoga wagons, nice large wooded sites in half the campground. Petting zoo, tiny villages, exotic animals like water buffalo, rheas and zebras, a train ride, bike/trike rentals, game room and playground. We loved the country market with veggies grown here. Private bath/shower stalls are wonderful! There is a catch and release fishing lake, but in March 2025 it was very low. Note: a few sites have full hookups, but they book up fast. We will definitely be back.
