Wonderful Place for Families and Dogs :) Staff is super friendly , Kampground is clean ,nicely designed, Big Rig friendly . The Farm experience is a must . We will definitely be back !

A very nice laid back campground with well maintained sites and amenities, that we have visited multiple times. The only negative we saw this time is that the daily rates compared to the same time last year are up $25 to $30 per night. The rates at the KOA we stayed at before staying at Hunsader-Bradenton stayed the same year to year.

Love this KOA, return every year from Maine. Love the fresh market, ice cream, gift shop, strawberry picking, animals, etc. Sites are spread apart nicely, it is quiet at night, and a lot of birds to hear and watch. A 10 in my book. You do need a car or rental car to get around Sarasota, but we have also used UBER and it works fine.

Easily the cutest KOA I have stayed out! I only wished I had arrived earlier to see the animals! Definitely will stay again when I come back to the area!

We had a wonderful stay and appreciate the caring and patience from the staff. They were wonderful in handling changing dates due to medical issues and made us feel very welcome. The waterfront is beautiful and the sites are on the small size but useable. There is plenty to keep old and young busy.

This KOA has it all! We arrived late and left early the next day, but we could see by its amenities that this campground was very family friendly. Would definitely recommend it to those who intend to stay here at least two or three days, as there are plenty of things to do on site.

Only have 1 complaint our site was across from the bathrooms and people constantly cut thru our site maybe add some signs not to cut thru sites

I think it is a nice place but it is very expensive for what amenities you get. The only thing you really have is a playground. The game room is a mess, we have to pay if we want to go in and feed the animals or use your new equipment over the bridge. We don’t even get a discount. How about amenities like a lazy river/pool, pickle ball, basketball. People are very nice but lower your prices.

The deluxe cabin was good but all of the blinds were broken. This was unfortunate as we would have enjoyed a few more hours of sleep in the early hours of the morning. Furthermore, we had to pay for all the activities at the KOA farm. If someone is already paying to stay in a deluxe cabin with younger children, one would expect at the very least to have access to some of the activities.

Overall great stay. We had a minor issue with cabin cleanliness but it was adressed. Love the campground and facilities but wish there was more employee presence. Bathouse stays wet due to showers splashing on bathroom floor, a simple fix would make things much better. Paper towels would be great for us who want to wipe down from previous person splashing the sink although I understand why not

We enjoyed our stay overall. It was nice to have the farm next door, with the produce market so close (a walkable distance if you wanted). Our only wish was that the shady campsites would have full hookups. We plan to book another stay when we are in that area again.

Very nice campground, it’s well-kept and staff is very friendly. The sites are quite spacious. We have a 36’ class A Winn. There’s not a lot of shade, which was fine for our Feb trip, but you’d be baking in the sun in the summer. They have the nicest bathrooms I’ve seen at a campground. Horrible experience with this campground. From the inattentive and difficult to contact manager, to the power going out ONLY on our three campsites (one was across the walkway and not physically connected to our other two lots). Nobody answered, so despite paying for electricity, we slept with no heat. The poor kids were freezing!The audacity they had to try and charge me over $100 after we left!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

You popped your breaker with an overloaded power strip using heaters. Our number is clearly marked on our office for emergencies. You were being charged extra for multiple damages, late checkout and extreme mess at your campsite. It’s rare we have to say this but Your group is not welcome back.

This is a great place to stay. Friendly staff and always there to help if needed. I love the text messages they send out to let you know if there’s something going on. Can’t ask for a better place to stay!!

I was not particularly happy with the gentleman who came and informed me that my tow vehicle was sticking out into the roadway and had to be moved. That was on the last day of our stay and I had connected to my motorhome around 5:00 pm so we could get an early departure without disturbing your other guests. Not impleading the traffic flow and just appeared to be a needless confrontation!

Long, easy pull-thru sites. Clean laundry and bathroom facilities. Great petting zoo and fresh produce market on site. Super staff, very friendly and helpful.

We had a group of 3 campers and made reservations together requesting to stay somewhat together, not a specific site. They said we could do that when reservation was made. We get checked in and we are all spread out. This is one of our favorite camp spots and have been here several times with no issues before. They stated that we had to lock I. We had 3 RVs in our group and wanted to be together. When we got there we were all quite a distance from each other because we did not pay the extra $$. Someone could have notified us!!!!! Picnic table was filthy dirty and really rough shape.

My husband and have stayed here many times. This last visit we booked with 2 other RVs. We asked if we could be close together. On our arrival we were all separated from one another and was told because we didn’t lock down our site we could be moved anywhere. We went up to the desk and finely I was put a little closer to the rest of the family. Staff was very unprofessional will not stay here ag

Cute, but could use more lights; it's so dark at night. Loud bangs at 11 PM and after midnight. When we asked what that was, we were told to "get used to being in the country." It was someone out target practicing. In the country, we're more polite to neighbors and customers! When we arrived, there was a tent set up and hordes of people, making navigating the strange entrance more difficult.

What a lovely place! We and our service animal stayed in a cabin and loved the property. The staff is friendly! Janie was enjoyable. We are planning our next visit 2 days after leaving. How cool is that?

Private bathroom with locks on the doors, to keep away the kid pranksters who’s always knocking on the doors. Love the ice cream shop, farmers market, coffee shop, petting zoo. It was really nice. Loved it.

The lots were nice and level the grounds were very nice. We came during the off-season so we practically had the park to ourselves. The restrooms were clean and the scenery was beautiful. We will be back.

Nice and clean. Great Farm market. Plenty of space between camping spaces. Very close to the Myakka Elephant conservatory. Easy few miles to Sarasota.

Wonderful campground & with lots of space to walk. The bath houses/laundry facilities are clean. It's far enough from the road that traffic noise is minimal. It is possible to hear noise from the nearby racetrack and drag strip but there don't seem to be a lot of events happening there. The adjacent farm store has plenty of produce & staples like milk, eggs, meats, ice cream and baked goods (to name just a few things!) We've stayed there 3 years in a row and hope to go back next year.
