We spent a week here and have no complaints, staff were all very pleasant and flexible with some of our requests. We will be back for sure. We had family in campers and in the cabins and we all had a great stay

The facility was beautiful and well maintained. It was peaceful and there was a lot to do on the property. It's close to bigger areas without being in the busy areas. Very peaceful.

Lots of amenities. You do not need to leave the campgrounds. The pizza is awesome as well. You for sure feel the Southern hospitality of this family. Thank you for sharing great energy..

The park is super clean with everything you need to make your stay truly memorable...a petting zoo, train ride where you can see a zebra, bison and more, ice cream shop, pizza stand, farmer's market & more. It's fully outfitted for fun! There's a couple of really great playgrounds for the kids and even a soccer field. The staff is top notch too! Don't miss this park!!! We'll be back many times.

When I arrived after hours, there was no lights turned on for the glamping tent. It was hard to find things in the dark. Overall glamping tent stay was amazing, I would suggest adding a mini fridge wirh fridge and freezer. The small fridge was too tiny to keep up with the sun. Lastly, there was only one trash bag in the tent. I would come back and stay again! I loved it! Just a few minor comment

Hunsader Farms is beautiful and immaculate. We loved the landscaping, grill and concrete patio of our spacious pull thru site. We checked in late, but weree told the gate code and where to find our paperwork. The only downfall we experienced was none of the amenities are included as far as the petting zoo, train ride, gem mining (all extra $). The place was empty but it was a weekday stay.

Enjoyed the green and open surrounding space of the park, along with the farm amenities. Looking forward to staying when all the amenities are open to use (i.e. Saloon and entertainment space).

Great campground with friendly staff! RV site was level with plenty of space. Nice paver patio with fire pit and picnic table. Bathhouse looked almost new and each stall was a private room with its own entry. The petting zoo was cute and a great idea if you have kids.

This was our second visit because we were really impressed our first stay. We were right next to the cabins and restrooms, which was great. My only concern is that the shared trash bin was full when we arrive and remained that way for three days. The campground was almost empty, so clearing the bins could have been done daily. Conveniences matter when considering a return visit.

We had a lovely weekend and look forward to returning for the pumpkin festival in October. Definitely one of our favorite campgrounds. We did feel like it could use some sprucing up. Maybe some shells added to the camp sites. We realize it was opening weekend and there was a storm that week. I am sure by October things will be much better. Bathrooms are always clean! Love that!

The silo did get alittle hot in the day time, the sleeping area did have ac but the little room where the TV didnt.

Many campsites were flooded and we had to ask for a different site, which we received. We had another couple arriving in the evening. When they got to the gate, the codes did not work. After a few messages to the host, we did not get any more answers and we ended up going to the gate to open it instead of the host. Additionally, most of the attractions were closed at the farm for the long weekend.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Unfortunately the bands from the hurricane gave us 8 inches of rain just days before your arrival. Everything in our farm area was open all weekend. Not sure what you thought was closed. Please let us know.

What a fantastic and unique KOA! We have never stayed at on quite like it. Very rural location but a beautiful campground located on a working farm. And convenient to lots of shopping, restaurants and Sarasota area.

The place was fine we have no problem whit the place tell the last day they park a big tractor farm in front of my camper because they mess the stay in the system and tink I’m going to still some nights I gess any way they have my card and was no reason for this so me and my family never go back there,owner never said Sory for the problem and mess they cause

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

You did not pay for the additonal nights, after we could not get ahold of you after numerous attempts, we parked a tractor in front so you could not leave before paying for the previous 4 nights. The sheriff department adviced us to have your camper towed at your expense. we did not do this.

Stay was fine; however, there needs to be some monitoring of the people on ebikes. We were near the restrooms and had people cutting through our camp site to get to the restrooms on bikes at a fairly high rate of speed for cutting between camp sites. To me it is a serious safety hazard.

We visited at the end of season and it was fantastic! The Farmers Market has the best veggies I’ve ever tasted! The cucumbers were my personal favorite! The other items are delicious as well!!! Facilities and grounds are clean and updated. Everyone is very nice! Everywhere you look is a picture! We will return! We loved our stay! Thank you for all you do!!! Can’t wait to come back!

Everyone there was so pleasant and friendly. I would recommend anyone to go and camp. We already booked for there Pumpkin Festival in October. Then we'll go back in December for there lights.

I normally 10 and 5. Had to do -1 'cuz "outhouse' women's bathroom was the worse Ive ever seen. 2 toilets overflowed, no paper towels, smelled like feces, several stalls w/o toilet paper, & last one wouldnt flush. I did say something, but never saw anything being done to fix it. This is not the norm; usually very clean, wonderful experience. Please have more staff to keep it clean.

Run down amenities. (obstacle course is nearly in the ground, and completely broken also tucked in the area of the farm where vehicles (old tractors, buses etc) are abandoned) Most things were closed (coffee trailer 9-11 on sat, sun closed(on Memorial Day weekend) Store closed at 5-so if you needed firewood or ice or marshmallows-out of luck) $12 a person for the petting zoo! No pool( in fl)

Your son seemed to have a great time. We know you weren't happy you had to move to a tent site because you booked an rv site with a tent, but there was not need for this review. Every single thing was open on Memorial Day!

Nice area, close by, good for a day. Unfortunately a large dog from the next door camper tried to attack our Maltese and bit my wife in doing so. Half the day at a clinic getting treated and getting a tetanus shot. The dog, an Australian shepherd lunged at me during set up the first day and bit my wife the next. Aggressive dogs should not be allowed in. First time in 20+ stays at a KOA

What a wonderful campground nestled in the middle of a farm. Bathhouses were clean sites large and the farm stand amazing.

Very nice KOA all around. Very nice and attentive staff and accommodating. The only issue I had was sites have High Voltage. My RV panel inside was constantly going off telling me high voltage warning that it could damage the coach. I ran the power to another 50 AMP site and same thing. So, it was the site. KOA rep and RV dealer said it wouldn't hurt coach, if having surge protector.

We stayed here for 26 nights. The bathrooms were large rooms, newly built and clean. The campground was only crowded on weekends. It was a fantastic stay! I really liked the produce stand, eat shack and ice cream shop on the premises. We had a great time. We may stay here again next year. We try to check out various parts of FL, so I'm not sure where we'll go next. Thank you for a great vacation.

Staff is friendly. Very well kept property and the most amazing Wi-fi I've experienced in any campground. They have boosters everywhere and it's great!!! We went when it was pretty hot, so a pool would have been nice, but I would definitely recommend this place.

I like this campground. Some of the spots are a lot better as far as nice trees, vs just sort of out in a field. The bathrooms are huge and you have your own toilet, shower and sink. I love that. The market is nice with lots of veggies etc to choose from. Easy check in and a nice little campground.
