Very nice clean park.. Quiet bathrooms were clean and nice . They have a little farm we didn’t explore it but looked like lots of activities. We will defiantly stay again

Our stay was OUTSTANDING!!!! The grounds were clean, the restrooms were beyond excellent, and the various farm and wild animals were a real treat to behold...bison, zebras, emus. We enjoyed shopping at the store, buying produce, and visiting the antique "museum". We will be back!

We stayed in a 5th wheel for 18 nights while visiting family. Staff members are very friendly. Sites are good size, large dog park, kids playground, and small zoo on property. WiFi is excellent, does degrade some when campground is full. There is minimal traffic noise. This is also a working farm with a great farm store with produce and other goodies. A pool would be a nice addition.

I've stayed here several times. The entire facility is VERY CLEAN and well taken care of. Bathrooms and showers are nice with plenty available. There's several farm animals, a playroom, playground, and a very friendly small pony that my kids enjoy. There's fresh produce on-site available to purchase and it's approximately 10 minutes from several restaurants and grocery stores.

We have stayed here a few times and we love it. Just need to upgrade the picnic tables. And maybe a pool on the campground. Other wise we highly recommend this place.

I received a KOA review email while I was still at the park- I gave 3 stars as it has been neglected over the years. I was approached by the owner (Dave) & yelled at in front of friends & family while at dinner & told to leave the campground. I did receive a refund, but a month stay during winter in Florida is hard to find & it was heartless. Don't ask for feedback if you don't actually want it!

The AC in the small silo is unable to keep the area cool, it made for a miserable nights sleep both nights.

Beautiful patio sites, lovely area. There is a market for fresh produce, meats, and other limited supplies. We had the pork which was excellent. The market is a bit pricey. It would help if the roads were paved since employees and guests go above 5mph which creates a lot of dust. Also, a pool would be a nice addition. Restaurants not readily near by.

The WiFi was strong and steady! Beautiful bath houses, but the floor outside the shower was always wet. Sites were clean and level with good hookups. We had to use a poorly maintained road to enter/exit the campground on the weekend due to a Flower Festival. The old equipment around the farm made it seem junky and unkept. A group of mini-cycle riders staying near us, bikes were loud late at night.

Hunsaders never disappoints. Especially if you are there during one of their festivals. (Flowers in April, pumpkins in October) Its a very relaxing campground and its one of our top five places to stay. Would recommend, 9/10. (a pool would make it 10/10)

Beautiful Place, Poor Issue Handling Loved the grounds—clean bathrooms, fun for kids, great atmosphere. But the farm silo rental had wasps inside. Management downplayed safety concerns and offered no real solutions. We got a refund for the silo but no compensation for rearranging everyone. Disappointed in the response. We’ll return—but only with campers next time.

Upsetting to read your review after we did our best accommodating your group even after you moved furniture off another site to use for your large crowd. When we talked in person you seemed fine.

Was really looking forward to staying, until we found out when checking in that you cannot have fencing for our pups. It is in their info, guess you cant assume its pet friendly unless you deep dive into their pet policy. Cant expect a dog to be leashed the entire time when they arent regularly. Live and learn, maybe we will experience them another time.

We do not allow pet fencing as they are not safe and secure however, We are very pet friendly and have a huge dog park.

I thought the farm part of the description was a little scary not knowing what to to expect..especially smells but the farm was an amazing part of the experience. I love having the farmers market on site and bought plenty of fresh banana bread, preserves and vegees! The biggest and best surprise was having a Blackstone on the patio site. Only negative was empty propane in the fire pit.

Everything was super nice and clean. Only reason it didn’t get a 5 is because they had other activities but it cost more to do then. Like petting zoo, bike track, little houses things like that.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. There are no hooks, drawers or closets for clothes. The bed was not comfortable since in sank in the middle and my husband and I kept rolling onto one another. The cabin was clean and we enjoyed the screened porch and deck.

We had a wonderful time! We never left the property! It was beautiful and relaxing! The campgrounds were very nice and wonderful bathroom facilities! We stayed in a cabin it was clean and comfortable. The antique store and produce stand are great! We loved watching all the animals and just exploring the property! All the staff we encountered were very nice! We will definitely be returning!

We love Hunsaders KOA!. Very convenient to where we need to be during our stay. Love having zebras, ostriches and buffalo in our back yard. Very relaxing! Can't wait to be back at Hunsaders!

Plenty of room. Had trouble with the exit signs. When leaving. The signs are small and some of the exit signs are right next to a do not enter sign. Need to separate those apart from each other.bigger exit signs also will help . Camping there looked very family friendly

Our whole family went so we rented a Silo, Cabin, and camp site. Both the Silo and Cabin had A/C issues, the cabin A/C did not get fixed and it was 88 everyday. I also don’t understand why, but you can’t put up doggie gates at the camp sites.

The headboard to the bed was covered in dust. The queen bed was horribly uncomfortable. Not knowing in advance that we can’t turn the thermostat below 70 degrees because it will freeze up was irritating. Had we known that I would not have rented this place. We wanted to leave as soon as we arrived but because of policy “no refunds after check in” we had no choice. We won’t return.

I’d give this KOA a 10+! A little off the beaten path but isn’t that what Kamp is all about! Lots to do - beautiful animals - fresh veggies! - beautiful night skies but still close enough to Sarasota and St Pete beaches! Highly recommend

I’m not one to give bad reviews but this being our 2nd stay there the campsites are relatively nice but the amenities leave a whole lot to be desired. The game room, the petting zoo and all of the activities within it are run down and in terrible condition. It’s almost as if everything was picked up at a yard sale and allowed to fall apart. This place is Amazing!! We stayed in 101 the cabin. The place was clean, great place to come. Loved fishing there, we did the train ride seen the animals. The fresh vegetable stand was amazing!! We bought many to take home...the gem stone thing was cool as well!!. This place is great we will definitely be back. !! We posted pictures and others want to go !!

It was our first time there. We loved it! So many things to do. Loved the farmers market. Loved being able to watch the zebras, emus, etc. My only complaint was that they did not deliver firewood to the campsite. We camp in a drivable RV van and had no way to get the firewood back to our campsite.

The lots were nice and level the grounds were very nice. We came during the off-season so we practically had the park to ourselves. The restrooms were clean and the scenery was beautiful. We will be back.

Nice and clean. Great Farm market. Plenty of space between camping spaces. Very close to the Myakka Elephant conservatory. Easy few miles to Sarasota.

Wonderful campground & with lots of space to walk. The bath houses/laundry facilities are clean. It's far enough from the road that traffic noise is minimal. It is possible to hear noise from the nearby racetrack and drag strip but there don't seem to be a lot of events happening there. The adjacent farm store has plenty of produce & staples like milk, eggs, meats, ice cream and baked goods (to name just a few things!) We've stayed there 3 years in a row and hope to go back next year.
