RV Reviews

We used the Boyer Park & Marina KOA as a long term stay location while looking for a home in Dec-Jan of 2025-26. The location provided a serene spot to look at the stars and relax while providing all the amenities we needed. It had the best reviews of campgrounds in Whitman County and did not fail to meet those reviews. We would gladly stay again.

Nice well kept park and the owners are great people. Very friendly and helpful. The internet is very slow, which wouldn't normally matter to me, except that the cell service in this area is a little spotty.

This is a beautiful and immaculate park, Peaceful and serene, it is also well-staffed. This camp is at least 25 miles from Colfax or Pullman, WA. But for those who wish an off-the-beaten path experience, this place is for you! The road here could be challenging for inexperienced RV drivers, but for most of us, we just go slow and enjoy the stunning scenery!

Boyer Park is a beautiful campground. It is impeccably maintained and the staff definitely went above and beyond. We were there on a warm fall weekend and enjoyed a swim in the river. Try the smash burger in the restaurant!

I was completely set up. Inside trailer relaxing when guy oower came and told me the back end of trailer was hanging out over grass and that I would have to move trailer so he could mow. I said that I wasn’t told that was a no no. But I still had to move trailer

The improvements to the marina and the addition of the dog park are very nice. There were also less geese and their waste, either by chance or design.

Very comfortable. One area that caused some discomfort were the sprinklers. They came on at 5:30am and woke us up. They were hitting the left side of our truck and trailer. Talked to Squirrel about the situation and he said that he would look into it, but it was to late. The water left a deposit on the surface of both vehicles, I'm hoping that it will wax off, but usually it is somewhat difficult.

Stayed here 09/20 - 09/22/2025 Warmer here than anywhere above on the palouse by 5-8 degrees due to being in the canyon. For the snake river. There are 3 distinct areas with RV, camping and "cabins". The store and small grill we did not visit The older section are well shaded, the 2nd less so but most still have enough to keep you cool. The third is the newest, most level and less shaded. G

We made use of the walking trail to the dam several times, we took a trash bag and picked up as much garbage as we could. We used the same garbage bag to clean out our fire pit and the neighbors fire pit of plastic and cigarette butts (dangerous for dogs) walking Trail could use some vegetation removal of blackberry bushes and goat heads on the trail &spray the grasses growing through the asphalt.

Boyer RV park was a welcome surprise and worth the drive down the canyon. This was our first visit. The grounds and facilities were very clean. No trains running nearby at night, so very quiet compared to many other campgrounds.

The camp managers are very friendly and helpful. It's a very nice camp in a beautiful setting. It's well kept and very clean. We had a great stay!!

Beautiful views amid golden hills. Nice sites, clean and restful park. However, the lack of cell service and WIFI deterred us from paying via an unsecure network for the offered WIFI access and faster speed. We later realized that some areas of the park actually do have reception, but that doesn't help us when we are in our RV.

A true hidden gem of a campsite and serene location. Right on the banks of the Snake River in a gorge surrounded by wheat fields (aka "amber fields of grain"). Relatively new owners (since 2019) who have put time and effort into making/keeping this facility (a KOA franchise) a great destination for relaxing and getting away from the cares of the world. The facilities are excellent, the amenities superb (with the exception of no TV reception other by satellite dish). The park's wifi system is adequate for "normal" use, but opt for the $3 per day extra option if you want to stream or have other greater wifi needs.

This is one of the nicest most pleasant campgrounds I've ever stayed in. The owner/staff were so pleasant and helpful. The location is pretty remote but so beautiful. We were there in the springtime and the hills were green. We had a lovely time. The grounds are neat and very well kept. The sites are spacious and level. Would love to return sometime!

Owners, Monica and Mike are very kind and accommodating; AND, they are committed to maintaing a clean, safe, courteous, family-friendly park and they enforce camping rules accordingly. The grounds are meticulously kept and the environment is friendly, peaceful, and inclusive of diverse campers. The little store and grill are sweet, and they don't jack up the prices. The campground is open year round but the office, store and grill, and inn are open seasonally in spring and summer. The groundskeeper, "Squirrel," lives onsite all year. This is our third time here in the last year since our daughter moved to WSU. We stayed here in April, August, and October. It is always immaculate. As someone with a disability, I find that this is one of the more accessible campgrounds. We work from our site often, and the $3.00 per day, per device premium wifi is perfect for online meetings. Pricing is reduced for multiple days and there is free wifi for leisure scrolling. HEADS UP! This is a popular hunting campground after mid October. If you and your group are hunters, this is a great base camp. If you aren't big hunting fans, maybe plan your visit around big game open season.
