Planning a Day Trip to San Diego

Planning a Day Trip to San Diego

Vacationing on the West Coast offers infinite unique experiences, whether you prefer hiking outdoors or exploring new cities. San Diego is one of the West Coast's can't-miss destinations, and while you could easily spend more time, there's a lot you can do with a day trip to San Diego.

The Best Time to Visit San Diego

The temperate climate in San Diego makes the city an ideal place to visit year-round. While you could stay whenever, there are specific times that could help you beat the crowds and enjoy weather that is not too hot or cold. Spring, from March to May, is one of the best times to take a trip to San Diego because of its mild temperatures. There are also usually fewer visitors because school is still in session.

You could also visit during the fall between September and November. The temperatures turn milder compared to summer, and fewer people visit once school starts back up after the summer break.

No matter when you visit, spending a day in San Diego will be unforgettable.
