1st timer! We were very impressed. Love the rental RV, but the mattresses were really crappy. But the resort was awesome! We will go back for sure.

We had a great stay at this campground. The camper we rented was beautiful and there was lots of activities and things for the kids to do! Staff were also great. Will definitely be returning in the future!

Quiet, close to Summerside, Owners are great! First time we used a cottage which suited our stay this time, but will definitely return with our trailer.

Fabulous time at this KOA! Barry and his wife are excellent hosts. They are attentive to requests and send daily updates on events or activities occurring at the park. The live music in the Music Hall is such a great event. We were able to enjoy the duo ,Julie and Danny, who are fantastic!!!!

Clean, cozy cabin with mini fridge and microwave. Clean campground, pool and playground entertained the kids with other activities to use from Office. Wish there was a wall lamp or bedside table with lamp.

Friendly staff. Clean facilities. The cabins do not come as advertised. We were extremely cramped and uncomfortable. They are ok for a couple and not more regardless of what the website says.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We agree that the cabins with 1/2 baths are not suitable for a party of 5. We will be adding larger futons next year to make it more comfortable for a party of 4 and we have updated the description on the web site to indicate that the cabin is best for no more than 2 adults with children.

We really enjoyed our stay in the cabins! Highly recommend Borden KOA for any age, but it was perfect for our young family with the pool, park, and jumpy pillow. The small size of the campground is perfect for young kids as everything is so close, and minimal traffic going in and out of the campground. We also loved having the confederation trail right there and enjoyed a walk to gateway village!

Disgusting cabins ... disgusting bathrooms . Owner is a complete jerk who can't ensure changeover are done but he sure can be exceptionally rude when your enjoying s morning coffee with neighbour's. Really doesn't like when you complain about the filth ! Absolutely disgusted and refused to refund my money!

It goes without saying that you can't wait until check out time, then start airing a bunch of grievances and demand a refund. Over 80% of our other guests rated us as a 5 out of 5 for guest satisfaction. That number speaks for itself.

Everything about it was amazing! We stayed in a cabin & it was very clean. The young lady in the store was so helpful and kind, she made us feel so welcomed! We cannot wait to stay again :)

The cabin we stayed in (K3) was super cute and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the toilet and sink came in handy especially late at night:) We would definitely stay again.

Couldn’t find a hotel anywhere in PEI, we were going to resort to camping when we found the KOA with cabins! We got a cabin with a half bathroom. Beautiful little spot. Not to much vehicle noise even though it’s along hwy. Also had live music in the evening, was a perfect way to spend our trip to PEI, had a little fire and sat on the porch of the cabin! Great little cabin . Would definitely recommend this place for a stay to anyone . Staff very friendly and my son really enjoyed the pool , park and bouncing ballon.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay in one of the rental trailers. The staff were always so wonderful to talk to and very helpful. The live music was a great treat :) The campground was clean and spacious. We didn't feel squished up to our neighbours, which was a pleasant surprise! We will definitely return next time we are on the island! :)

Was so much better then expected. Was so a great launch point for our adventures each day. Place was so clean. Hot water for showers. Laundry was clean and easy to use. Music every couple of night's was also a nice change. Good job.

Nous avons fait la location d'un VR disponible sur le terrain c'est très bien dans l'ensemble sauf pour la section coucher le mur était abimé et il n'y avait pas de store dans la fenêtre à la tête du lit tout le reste du VR était bien.

we stayed in one of the cabins for 10 days, it was nice to have just the beds, a fridge and a microwave in there. perfect just to come back and sleep at the end of the day, wake up and make our breakfast the next morning and do it all over again. it was also great that there's a nice pool, the bouncy pillow thing and a park for the kids. thank you KOA

Absolutely perfect! Barry and Donna are amazing hosts. Music nights are a must to sample PEI hospitality and joy. We loved our stay in the cabin.. facilities were spotless, staff kind and friendly! Right by the bridge so a perfect base to see the island. Small but sooo much to do for the campers. Great job done by the owners! Thank you for making our honeymoon travels so memorable for oue stay

Arrived late into a cabin but had no tables and 1/2 a curtain, lots of mosquitoes! Spots crammed in for RV Bathrooms weren’t very nice w/standing water floors wet first thing in morning

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Unfortunately with the frequent rain this spring, PEI has been experiencing a problem with mosquitoes. This should drop off as things warm up. We actually have wide RV sites but people from a caravan were doubled up the night you were here.

We rented an RV for 3days/2 nights at the Borden KOA. The family had a great time and all staff (and other campers) were extremely friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay in the cabins. It was a rainy weekend but still lots to do. We played bingo and went to a music jam, used the heated pool. They had a game's room that we were able to spend time in. They had a large covered over barbecue area we were able to use the barbecue that was there. There was a bar fridge Keurig and toaster which was a nice surprise as only a microwave listed. Thanks

I see allot of updates being done to the campground which is great as we stay here on an annual basis for the past 4 years. Only negative experience we had was in the cabin the toaster wasnt cleaned and there was crumbs all over the counter surface, when we went to use the toaster 7 earwigs came running out of it!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Hi. I apologize this happened. The crumbs were the result of a Quality Inspection and we turned the toaster upside down to check for crumbs and then forgot to get back and clean up our mess! Earwigs are a problem throughout PEI this year but we normally ensure they are not inside our cabins.

We had a great time, even with the wind and rain. Excellent amenities, lots for our grandkids to do- they said it was the best campground they've been to, and they have camped at several places in PEI where they live. Friendly staff, great service, and we loved the music nights. Close to the bridge for getting back to NB. Thank you so much.

It was great. We stayed in the rental RV (sleeps eight) Campground was quiet/well maintained. Staff were friendly/helpful. Pool was clean. Would be great if amenities in the kitchen ie Keurig and coffee maker etc... and things like paper towels, bathroom tissue and access to bbq were listed on web-site to allow for optimal planning and packing.We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!

other than a noisy neighbour (which was solved somewhat) we had a terrific time and will return. The owners and staff go out of their way to make one feel welcome. Friendly, courteous and most helpful.

Live that they offer local music talent some nights of the week. They fund raise with food or money donations for the pediatric hospital. Great owners and quiet location

Emplacement parfait pour visiter l'île-du-Prince-Édouard. C'est central et près du pont. Un des meilleurs campings de nos vacances en famille. Le service à la clientèle est excellent et les blocs sanitaires sont très bien entretenus. La piscine est bien chauffée et il y a diverses activités, dont un des fameux Jumping Pillow tant apprécié des enfants (suggestion : ce serait encore mieux s'il était un peu plus gonflé). Il y a également le sentier de la confédération qui passe juste à côté et qui peut nous mener à de chouettes endroits. Merci pour ce beau séjour chez vous!

Spacious lots and very clean washrooms. This campground has everything you need. They even have a music hall where they have local musicians perform a few nights a week. Owner was very nice. Really enjoyed our 2 day stay.
